Went in with my broken frame and they fixed my glasses no questions asked and was done within 10 minutes. The best service I’ve received at any optometrist. Extremely friendly staff.

Dr. Nguyen and her team are extremely knowledgeable and go the extra mile to ensure that you (and your eyes) are taken care of! Was even able to grab a same day appointment when I needed a consult. Highly recommend, especially for us who work downtown and can easily access the their location in a short walk. Most importantly, Dr. Nguyen is patient and takes the necessary time to explain and advise on healthy eye care and how to best preserve your vision in the days of increased screen time. A gem in the heart of downtown.

I go here mostly out of convenience, however their team has expanded it seems. And Craig was a very helpful gentleman. He greeted me upon entry and walked me out upon exit. Dr. Richardson is very professional and knowledgeable. She is always happy to answer my questions and with a smile. Team is very helpful and wanting the best experience for everyone. They offered price matching for my incredibly expensive contacts. Overall great experience. High recommended if you are in the downtown area in need of an optometrist.

Dr Nguyen and her staff have been very knowledgable and my yearly visits are always pleasant. I have never had a negative experience w/ anyone there. Making an appointment has never been a hassle. 🫶 Its odd that the negative reviews are issues about their frames and lenses being made which is done from a 3rd party so those negative reviews should be moved to the correct party 🤔 The doctor and staff that work IN the office have no control over the staff at the lab (remember- 3rd party) when it comes to those frame and lenses. Also, depends on how blind you are and how much you invest in those lenses… so if it isnt flush, well why blame the staff again? Its either your choice on how much you want to spend or because your vision is so bad the technology to make them look thin and flush w/ the frame hasnt been invented yet. I’m pretty much legally blind and am self aware that no matter how much I spend on my lenses, they will never be thin to be in flush w/ the frame. But hey what do I know, this is just my two cents since most people aren’t aware about things like this. The more you know. Downside- parking downtown can be a bit stressful depending on the time you need to be at your appointment. But thats not the doctor or the staffs fault either. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Reiterating- This is a review about the people who work IN the office/clinic and have no control over what goes on OUTSIDE the office. ✌️

I love My Eye Doctor formally TSO at the downtown location on Walker. Dr. Nguyen and staff are so helpful, professional, and make you feel like family. I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so. I travel a distance but it is well worth it.

Claudia was so helpful when I went to get new glasses and sunglasses. She was very energetic and just a fun person to be around with. So glad she’s part of the downtown team!

I like Dr Nguyen but my latest experience here is absurd. Imagine spending nearly $400 for new glasses to find the lab techs have split your frame and the lens doesn’t sit flush, and then they won’t fix the issue, and try to tell you it will be an upgrade to put a new lens and try to nickel and dime you. I’ve been getting lenses here for a decade but this it for me

I really want to give them 5 stars. They gave me an appointment right away and were flexible. The doctor was very attentive. The gentleman helping me pick my glasses was very patient. But I have been waiting three weeks for my glasses. The lab made them wrong the first time but that was two weeks ago. There should be a way to get the lab to expedite my order if it was wrongly made at first.

I really enjoyed my appointment with Dr Nguyen. She Took her time and made sure that I was very comfortable with my new prescription. Also Breanne was such a big help. She picked out the perfect glasses for me today! Everybody was so helpful.

I love this place. It's walkable from my apartment, the staff is amazing and works with you as well as giving opinions on what glasses look best on you. They're so helpful and carry the cutest stuff!

I've been a TSO client for years but I recently had an appointment at the downtown location--it's literally a 5 minute walk from my office. Other than the convenient location, I felt sooo comfortable there with the staff who were calm and friendly, it felt like a nice place to work. And Dr. Van Nguyen is incredible, she was so honest and informative. I've been dealing with my awful vision since I was a kid so I thought I knew everything but she actually taught me quite a bit more and her recommendations have been wonderful. The staff was absolutely very welcoming to me, I was in and out very promptly, Nyomi & Lexii were very outstanding. Great recommendations on frames & what complemented my facial structure and much more. Dr. Nguyen is my favorite as well, always great conversation with her & precise visits everytime.

I had an amazing experience at TSO Downtown! They use the latest technology to give you the most accurate vision screening, unlike one I have ever seen before. Moreover, everyone that works there is friendly and very knowledgeable. In fact, the doctor explained everything incredibly well and was very thorough. In addition to that, the manager Breanne provided me with excellent customer service; she explained my options astonishingly well and she helped me find the perfect pair of glasses and shades. I usually take forever finding eye glasses and get frustrated. But, thanks to Breanne, finding a great pair of eye glasses was actually easy and fun. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help me. Furthermore, TSO Downtown has a fabulous selection of glasses with a price range that appeals to everyone. I highly recommend TSO Downtown!

This location is by the cleanest and nice location I have been to. Lexii was so helpful and patient on teaching me how to put on contacts as picking the perfect pair of glasses. Dr.Nguyen was super friendly and nice during my exam. I surly would go back for my next exam

This TSO location is the optician I've used for a number of years. The staff and doctors I've seen are great. I as a patient feel like they value me and have always been professional, friendly, informative, skilled and helpful. I recommend this location highly and without reservation.

Tore my last contact lens, they got me in the same day, did my exam and had me out in in no time at all with a fresh pair and an updated prescription. Everyone was friendly and understanding, if I lived near Houston I would use them all the time.
