I couldn’t believe how rude the staff was. The guy taking my order and the barista working the counter Feb. 5th at 11AM mocked me to my face about what I ordered, which was something from the menu, so I’m not sure what the problem was. If your staff didn’t agree with my choice, they could’ve suggested something else on the menu or they could’ve simply kept their opinions to themselves and made me the coffee I paid for. I don’t know what kind of business allows it’s workers to openly belittle their customers. To anyone reading these reviews, there are plenty of other coffee shops in the area that know how to treat their customers with decency, Grinder’s Coffee Bar and Cavo Coffee to name a few. I suggest you take your business there. No one wants to deal with pretentious guys making mediocre coffee. Such an annoying experience.

Highly disappointed, came in to try this place for the first time as my partner and I like to try different coffee and cafe spots around town, figured since it is in Rice Village it would be a great spot to try. Came in, the person at the register didn't greet us, didn't ask if we needed help just stared. I picked up a breakfast menu and said good morning and she didn't even speak back. At that point I left, if you do not have the common courtesy to speak to your patrons or even respond back that's a place that should not be getting anyone's hard earned money. Very disappointed by this.

The coffee was good and the atmosphere is really nice as well. We visited 6/25/2022 around 12 or 1. Me and my husband had to leave because the girl who brought our coffee was GLARING at my husband. We have never had anyone flat out glare at us while bringing something and she seemed like she wanted to fight us. It was one of the most ridiculous experiences we’ve had and we are not coming back here. We just wanted to find a good coffee spot in Houston to come regularly. By the way, when we had entered we attempted to say hi to her in a friendly way and no word came out of her. Owner, please check your staff. They will ruin your business.

This is a cozy place to enjoy an authentic coffee drink, like what you’d find in Italy. There are plenty of,lattes to,choose from (hot and iced). The prices are good, and there are just enough food, desert and sorbets on the menu, and in the display case to satisfy most people’s hunger or cravings. food items on the menu as well. The background noise inside can make conversation a little challenging but it’s not constant. There is also outside seating and WiFi available.

I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but I just left my first bad review for another coffee shop, and wanted to put some more good out into the world, so I thought I should leave a review of my favorite coffee shop in Houston. I’ve been to Fellini so many times at this point, and never had a bad experience. I like them so much, that I actually bought the same cups and saucers for my house to recreate the experience (and I tried to get the stir spoons but they were unavailable). Whenever I am in Rice Village, I end up here for at least one drink!

Great location and good coffee, although the lemon cake was a tad dry. A lovely little cafe.

I frequent this cafe in the Rice Village several times a week and come across different employees. This morning was the one of the worse two I’ve experienced. I’ve seen these two before. Today is 6/24/2022. The two young ladies that were working the counter this morning (especially the one making the coffee) we’re not friendly at all, they never are. First of all, when I walked in neither of them spoke (no good morning, no hello, or thank you or goodbye when I left). I placed my order and the one making the coffee hands me my cup with the coffee all the way to the top. No fault of hers, I should have told her leave room for cream. Even though I knew the coffee would taste watery I went ahead and added my cream and tasted it anyway. It was watery. I asked her if she could remake it and she offered to pour out some of the coffee, and I explained that wouldn’t affect the flavor of the coffee and if she could remake it. I asked, not demanded because I knew I should have said something before she made it. I guess I’m spoiled by the other crew. So she remade it, reluctantly, and filled the cup halfway (really?) so I added my cream and left. The coffee was awful. To add to it, she was very friendly and chatty with a gentleman who came in and talked about going to night clubs. The guy stood there a cursed a couple of times (f-bombs), which was so rude. But she still carried on her conversation with him. I wrote this because I was upset with the level of customer service, not to get anyone fired. I go to Felini because of the gentle and soothing atmosphere, which I’m sure the owner prides herself. I’ve met the owner a couple of times and I’m sure would not appreciate this behavior. UPDATE ***On 6/29/2022 I received a call from the cafe manager who advised that he read my review and wanted to apologize. I appreciated his phone call and for even taking time to read my review. For that alone I take back the two stars and give a 5. Generally the staff is very nice but I don’t know what was going on that day. I’ve calmed down since then as well.

If you're looking for a coffee shop that's like a slice of Italy here in Houston, then look no further. They have great espresso and amazing speciality drinks. My favorite is the "espresso nocciolato" which has Nutella in it and is very much a delight!

Found this cute little coffee bar upon returning from Italy. It was a welcome familiar feel with proper espresso drinks, drink ware, and cantucci. The espresso shot was slightly larger and a bit watered down, not as creamy as we were used to getting in Italy. Pretty close in authenticity, but a few things could be addressed.

Was looking for a comforting breakfast sandwich at Rice village and this is what I got. Was a little disappointed, the egg was too thin and the sandwich was a bit dry. Not worth $15. Seems like management hasn't been keeping up with their top service after reading recent reviews.

I got coffee and a pistachio Cupcake, they used to have more delicious pastries before the pandemic. The restroom really needs to be cleaned more often.

Fellini was quaint and modern with friendly service. This is the first place I tried cannoli and I loved it, it had a tiramisu filling with a chocolate covered shell! We loved our drinks (chai latte and mocha) and will definitely come back when we find ourselves in Rice Village again.

Totally fine. The Italian feel it has is of a train station bar. i do like they have a bar front where you can take your coffee if you want .The kids who work there are very nice. Coffee and pastries are fine.

Still A great macchiato (traditional of course) but the food and the attitude has gone downhill. The avocado toast came with only two small slices of tomato covering only a small portion of the bread and there were only two small leaves of a arugula. When we asked for more tomato and arugula we got an eye roll and an attitude from the employee. The pastry was undercooked. My recommendation is to stop here for coffee and that’s it. But there are a lot of other really good coffee options within Houston. So no longer worth a stop.

Nice little coffee shop with lots of choices for coffee, bakery treats, and gelato. It can be a good study place too if you don't mind the background noise because it can get pretty crowded. There is also available free street parking as well garage parking for a fee (unless you're a resident). The nearby area also has lots of good options to eat. I would definitely go back there for coffee!

Their tiramisu is average, and other desserts weren’t as good either. The white mocha coffee was terrible but the notmal latte was the best thing I’ve tried on their menu.

We have been coming for years. Always a nice experience. We had a large party, very nice staff, great coffee drinks. Desserts were flavorful, and bathrooms clean.

Great little place to meet friends! Choose to sit outside or inside; such a great selection of desserts. I ordered berry waffles and service was quick for me. My friend ordered chicken dish which took a bit longer but worth the wait.

I cannot say enough about this place. The service is amazing. The people are all great at what they do, serving, cooking, or creating their amazing drinks! Their coffee is absolutely delicious and can get about any infinite combinations of flavors and can opt for sugar-free if you wanted!!!! All dishes are made with love and care! Will always be a favorite of mine!

The ambiance is wonderful. It is on a tree lined street with tables that have umbrellas. The area is completely shaded in the morning from the early commute's sun's glare. So it is a nice place to retreat to and enjoy a Cappuccino. It has a wonderful selection of pastries. And even has a window to serve those on the sidewalk. Very relaxing in the morning.

It is a good place to drink tea or coffee ( plus a dessert ) with friends or your significant other. Not crowded, simple and nice design, furniture is ok. Staff is friendly. In general is a good coffee shop. Recommended.

A sad Cappuccino. Service is slow. Lady at the counter has the longest nails I have ever seen, which is pretty gross considering she is serving food to the public.. anyway. Coffe was very average.. burnt.. super bitter. Very low standards for coffee products. Pastry was delicious. 18$ for 3 mini tarts, one cappuccino and a double espresso.

Very Good. Just came for a coffee with a friend. She had a latte, and I had the café au last. Both were good! We got a couple pastries and sat outside. Staff was friendly. Prices reasonable. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area! Would recommend!

Such a cute & aesthetic place with great customer service! The drinks, however, were not good :( We got the ice latte and white chocolate mocha latte. The ice latte tasted like milk with a weird rubbery aftertaste. The white chocolate didn’t taste like white chocolate, more like sweet milk. The pastry was hard.
