The Coffee Bar

Cafe Coffee shop

👍👍 Very neat coffee shop. Love how it’s shared with the Fourth & Nomad clothing store. It’s all kinda just one building. Feels like your in a clothing store that randomly serves coffee. The ambience is kinda cool. Good service, indoor and outdoor seating. Neat little spot! People often mention coffee, shop, seating, good, great, store, Nomad,

Quaint and cozy environment. Outdoor seating with plants, lights, and chill music. The Forth and Nomad shop has several cute and high quality gifts as well as interactive workshops. They have tasty espresso drinks as well as delicious pour over brews. DOG FRIENDLY!

Coffe was good but that's about it. Pastries were $7 and not good at all. Coffe was delicious though. No one there was friendly, especially the employee. Very small sitting area inside. Good to try once but definitely will not come again. It's just ehh in my opinion.

Gorgeous concept store with beautiful interior design. The coffee shop is nestled within a store that sells clothes, hats (Gigi Pip!), jewelry, ceramics, coffee table books, and gifts. There’s a lot to explore, though I wish there was more inside seating. There’s a big patio as well, and the drinks are good. They have plant-based milks and some vegan snacks from Sinfull Bakery. Only downside is they give you exclusively single-use plastic containers even if you are not taking your drink to go. Very wasteful and I wish they offered reusable options.

Wanted to stop to this place based on Google reviews and I am glad I did, this place is inside a store and it's beautiful. They offer plenty to choose from as well as pastries. The barista was very sweet and patient with me as I did not know what to get, the Dirty Chai I got was delicious! Definitely want to come back.

I was honestly skeptical about 5 stars on six reviews, but the coffee really was on point. Tried the vanilla latte with oatmilk. Situated among eclectic and fun little local stores.

The Coffee Bar is an enjoyable coffee shop within a boutique shop called Forth and Nomad. The coffee is excellent and they have many different brew styles. When we went, the beans were sourced from a Dallas roaster that we really enjoy. There isn’t a ton of seating in there but that is because there is a lot of area for shopping for clothes, candles, etc. It is a nice addition to the Heights Market area.

Nice, comfort, simple coffee place. My wife likes it because she can shop while I relax with my drink. Of the 40 or do coffee places we’ve tried on our Houston coffee tour, this one is high up the list. Also one of the few not taken totally over by “laptop squatters”

beautiful coffee shop. inside forth and nomad. ive been here a few times and i love their ambience and the solid wifi. i think they do sell couple of pastries altho ive never tried. the wifi works on the patio as well which is awesome. it's a quiet spot to get work done or catch up with friends. i got not a macchiato which is caramel x vanilla latte and it was so freaking good. helped me lots throughout the day.

I left a review for Forth & Nomad as a whole but want to highlight the coffee shop! I’m very picky about coffee! If you see my other reviews they’re mostly for coffee shops! Haha but this is definitely my favorite espresso in town! If you like great espresso done right this is the spot! And it doesn’t hurt that they’re all such nice people too!

edit: this place has excellent matcha. Super rich and high quality. There's some cute specialty lattes and the space is super nice. Also, they have a small parking lot. It's located central to a lot of walkable shopping. However, they let dogs indoors that were being pretty disruptive, so that was a bit unpleasant.

Vibe- This cozy coffee shop is inside of a women’s clothing store and it’s a vibe! There’s seating outside and a nice amount of seating inside. Customer service- Great! Food/drinks- I got a pumpkin spice chai with oatmilk and a matcha latte with oatmilk and lavender honey; they were both good BUT of course the matcha was my favorite. Parking- There’s a good amount of spots in the lot next to the building.

Although I just had a coffee (an Americano), I went ahead and checked the "food" option. Tenfold is the supplier of their coffee. I noticed two specialty coffee blends on their shelf. I enjoyed the Americano very much. Allowing it to cool to about 120F brought out a really nice flavor profile. $3.75 plus tax and tip.

Had a simple macchiato and it was great. The shop inside is super cute & very dangerous for coffee-loving, shopaholics like myself where you can get it all in one spot!

They have great coffee and staff are really friendly but their prices for food have consistently gone up - last time I went in it was 23$ for two pastries (before tax and tip), the barista was kind and cancelled the order, going to struggle justifying coming by here though with prices this high

I usually love to go here for my Sunday coffee or afternoon pick me up but lately I've noticed that their Sunday staff are very rude and unpleasant in taking the order. When we ordered coffee and mentioned to not get us in a to go cup, they went ahead and got us in the to go cup. When we were sitting outside and wanted some more things to order they denied us window service and it was shocking that they just served another customer at window before us, what was most insulting is that they served another customer at the window while we were still at the patio table. It feels that they were not happy serving us despite making them a good business during their Sunday morning rush. They ruined it for us big time and not going there again.

Update: After visiting again, I spent about 10 minutes under the sun trying to figure out how to secure my bike before going inside. I was dripping sweat coming in, which isn't the best. I sent an email to Forth & Nomad in hopes they can add a bike rack, because Heights is a major bike city and it would be easier then finding a pipe to secure my bike to. Love the quality of drinks, they haven't ever disappointed. They sometimes offer Tacos A-Go-Go and pastries. I've had their matcha and mocha lattes and they are lovely. Always ask for sweetener though! Everything is bare bones, so don't expect a Dunkin' or Starbucks style drink. Walk around and browse local brands while drinking their teas, coffee's, etc. They have seating and connections for laptops, WiFi and chilling. Also outdoor seating!

Good wifi to work, and great ambiance. Got a Caramel latte and a pastry, everything was delicious.

The ambiance is too good. It's very unique with the store behind the coffee bar. Heard that it's relative to the small business owners. They can display their products in that place. ***Owner: please give us some information/requirements for displaying. ***

One of my top three cups of coffee in Houston. Lovely outdoor seating, great service and amazing coffee. Tacos and pastries are great too!

It was sooo good that I didn’t need to add sugar . If you really like coffee , this is the place !

This place is hidden away within Forth & Nomad rather than a stand-alone store. My girlfriend ordered coffee and in ordered hot tea. It took a little while for our drinks to be ready, but we were happily distracted from the time by the boutique. Definitely cute coffee date or work away from home vibes!
