This restaurant has done a great job with the interior decor and design of this space. Lots of outdoor seating is available. The indoor offers various seating options and definitely feels spacious. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. There was 5 of us. I however didn't enjoy mine at all. It was genuinely the worst fish taco I've ever attempted to eat. The table tried it and agreed. That said, I still gave a 4 and here is why. The waiter, Andres, asked how we enjoyed our meal. All said they liked it. I was politely honest that it was the worst I've ever attempted to eat. He immediately apologized and was sincere. No attitude at all. He offered to bring me another plate of my choice or a to go. Very kind of him. I thanked him and said it was truly ok. I wasn't looking for a discount or replacement. Minutes later the manager came out with him to apologize for my meal and he also offered the same, another meal or to go. I thanked him also and said it was really OK. I promised they didn't need to discount me. Perhaps it was just a one off. Our check came and they had removed my meal, which I was happy to pay for. The waiter and management truly went above and beyond to turn my experience around. It was greatly appreciated. They handled this with such grace and professionalism. I would return to try the food here again and appreciated their way of doing business!!

Came to Houston to visit family and stopped at Lazy Dog for Brunch. The hosts greater us right away and we’re friendly. We sat at the high chairs in the bar. The quality of the food was great. I ordered their wings, Nashville Hot and Sweet and Sour. They were a good portion, but the Nashville hot wasn’t spicy and not wet enough for me. The steak my husband ordered was very good and so was the Street Corn fries. Everything was Fresh! The waiter could of been a bit more attentive but was friendly. Would recommend you to try them out.

This spot is my go-to for lunch. They never miss a beat! I’ve tried about half the menu and all of it was great. In the photo, I ordered the lunch portion of the Chicken Parmesan but substituted the noodles for fettuccine Alfredo and it’s so good. The restaurant is a bit unorthodox and they put a spin on classics for sure, drinks are great as well. You’re allowed to bring your dog & they even have a menu for them too, you’d just have to lounge out on the patio. I also recommend trying the Bacon wrapped bison meatloaf or pot roast if you’re wanting something other than chicken🔥

This is a great spot to check out. We received a complimentary waffle chips for first time guest. The food was delicious and didn't take long to arrive to our table. The wine and alcohol drinks were delicious as well. Our server was okay she didn't seem to happy that day but didn't mess up on our order which was good.

We had dinner here tonight. The atmosphere was great. We sat on the patio so we got to see all kinds of cute dogs coming with their families. The food was good, but my dish came out quite a bit after the others and when it got to me it literally had 2 pieces of broccoli in it. I waited and no one came to check on it and since the manager delivered it I figured it was a lost cause and I went ahead and ate it. So the 4 stars is for the service which was pretty much 3 stars but we did enjoy the food and everyone can have an off day.

First time visiting this Houston location and it met our expectations. It is a rather exact replica of their Stafford one in terms of size, layout and decor, etc. and they were equally popular and busy. Both the starters and entrees were great.

I ordered my meal online. The onion rings were the best part of the meal. The delivery was the 2nd best thing. I ordered my burger medium well. It was not cooked correctly. The burger was also salty 🧂 and the patty looked like it was a frozen patty that fell apart when touched. So disappointing. I paid over $30 for a horrible meal.

This place lives up to its name! There were so many dogs here and the wait to sit on the good-sized patio was lengthy. We didn't happen to have our pupper with us on this trip, so we sat inside and were seated right away. We were feeling finger food on this occasion and the menu gave us a plethora of options on that front. We had never seen Crispy Deviled Eggs anywhere before, so we had to give them a try. They fry just the egg whites and then put the filling on top. Plus, they are garnished with the bacon candy, so it's like a 2 for 1. The Umami Fries were kind of spicy and had plenty of sauce on them (and that means something coming from me). The Fried Hush Puppies were not like Hush Puppies we have had elsewhere. They were more like deep-fried mashed potato balls, but they were tasty. The Mini Corn Dogs were nothing special, but we mostly ordered those for our daughter, anyway. The Goat Cheese + Pepper Jelly was also yummy and had more cheese than you could handle with the accompanying crackers. We didn't try them, but a fun thing this restaurant does is "TV Dinners." They package up their menu items, freeze them, and you can take them home in retro-looking packaging to reheat and eat at a later date. It's a fun concept.

I’m mad at myself for passing by this place many time before stopping by!! This place rocks!! Pot Roast was delectable and so so tender! Everything was made from scratch. The kids meal tenders were the juiciest ever, the fries were hot also. The only thing was my pineapple upside down cake was pretty dry and I feel like they got me for $10. I would’ve take it back if gas wasn’t 4.79 a gallon for me! Y’all owe me a dessert on the house next time Lazy Dog :/

Visiting the bustling bar and restaurant proved delightful, with a menu brimming with comforting flavors. The Cajun fries arrived perfectly seasoned, offering a spicy kick. The BBQ Vegetarian Patty Burger was a standout, harmoniously paired with crisp sweet potato tots. The fettuccine Alfredo pasta, intertwined with fresh veggies, provided a creamy indulgence. To wash it all down, the "Revolver Blood & Honey" beer was refreshingly apt, while the crafted "Liquid Blanket" beer was a rich, enveloping brew. A four-star experience for those seeking hearty, vegetarian-friendly fare with a fine selection of beers.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally made it happen today! Great service, cool atmosphere, delicious food and priced lower than I expected. They have sweet tea and it’s goooood! We started with the crispy deviled eggs. They actual fry the outer egg, add the yellow with paprika and top it with their bacon candy. Great spin on regular deviled eggs and that bacon candy is amazing! They have a starter of just bacon candy, but I was concerned that would be too much. I’m glad we settled on the deviled eggs. It was a little taste of both options we wanted in one. They are served 4 to a plate, so it’s perfect for sharing with another person. For my lunch I had the Dirty Dog. It’s a Nathan’s hotdog wrapped in bacon, topped with blue cheese dressing (I substituted ranch since I don’t care much for blue cheese), a drizzle of buffalo sauce and waffle style potato chips. The bun was perfectly toasted. The whole thing was terrific! The bacon is regular bacon, not their bacon candy. It was so good! It was served with French fried and a side of coleslaw. They have different flavors of coleslaw. I chose the Thai version. Fries were great and the slaw was tasty too. My friend had the tortilla soup loaded with chicken, yummy cheese and parmesan bread crisp things on the side. I tried a piece and loved it! For her meal, she got the chicken salad sandwich with fries. She loved hers too. Their lunch specials are under $10 and they don’t skimp on the size. We were very impressed. Andres was our server. He took wonderful care of us. The restaurant has lots of TVs for viewing sports (GO ASTROS!), they have a large patio with a cool bonfire style pit I want to check out when it’s cold outside and they are dog friendly, so next time I’ll bring my pup. Highly recommend. They have lots of items on their menu, so there’s something for everyone.

This was my first visit to Lazy Dog and it will definitely not be my last. As soon as I walked in I knew this was going to be a good place. Everyone was very friendly. We had a party of five and were accommodated immediately with a table. Our server was really friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He recommended drinks and food which all turned out to be great choices. I had the BBQ Bison Meatloaf which is made of all-natural durham ranch grass-raised Wyoming bison and smoked bacon sitting on top of red skin mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. This had to be the best meatloaf I have ever had. It was super delicious with a touch of sweetness. The Chicken Pot Pie was also very good. As were the other dishes, including salads, that were served at the table. Some of us had their house brewed Bonita Bonita IPA beer and it was very good. They have other in-house brewed beers that I'm interested in trying. They have a nice selection other beers as well. Lazy Dog is both kid and dog-friendly. They have a very nice dog-friendly patio that opens up to their rather large bar. We all really liked this place very much. I may have found a new favorite restaurant.

This was our first time trying Lazy dog and I can say it exceeded our expectations! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone. We sat at the bar and Rachel served us throughout the night and not only was she attentive but friendly and nice!!! I ordered the Flat-iron steak, friends got the classic hamburger and chicken tortilla soup, and we all enjoyed our food with no complaints. The steak here is amazing! One of the best I’ve had in months. The atmosphere and great service from Rachel is what really pulled it all together and will be coming back in the future to try more items from their menu. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a new restaurant to try!

My daughter took me to lunch here. Super nice ambiance and large restaurant. Lots of seating. A bit on the pricey side, averaging $20 per entree give or take a couple dollars. Food was really fresh and tasty. Service was nice. Lots of outdoor seating. They have this TV dinner menu where you can purchase entrees to take home. There is also a beer club to join if you're into that. I had the 1/2 sandwich and salad combo. Totally enjoyed it and made to my own high standards 😀 Definitely recommend it.

I'm generally suspect of trying out new places. So many joints suck. However, Lazy Dog is the rare exception. Their menu (both beer AND food) help them stand apart. We tried FOUR different appetizers (off the Happy Hour menu) and were shocked at how good they were. We especially liked the calamari, buffalo cauliflower, and edamame. Extra credit goes to the hiring agent. We personally worked with three different servers and they were all great. Especially Nick. He was amazingly good spirited. Whoever hired Nick and the rest of the staff is a genius. Each rep was professional and happy to help. Color me "shocked." Good food AND good service? Yes! Lazy Dog did it. Two big thumbs up!

Lazy Dog Quick stop for a celebration of my daughters recital. I ran into a friend Manager Jimmy J. I did not know he was working here now. He recommended the BBQ Bison Meatloaf and the Bacon Candy. In our order was the BBQ Bison Meatloaf, Alamerican Burger, Fried Chicken and Cordon bleu. All meals were spectacular, each one had such an amazing taste. All flavors popped and made our mouths water. The atmosphere was pleasant very busy but settled down and the music was perfect. We came in around 8:45pm, Moose was our server. He was very attentive to our needs with drinks and our meal. I have had such good service in quite awhile. Lazy-Dog will be in my top 5 restaurants. Thank you, Jimmy J. & Moose

Great service - free appetizer waffle fries on first visit! Staff was very attentive. The barbecue sauce is awesome. Very reasonably priced lunch at around $10 for soup, club sandwich, and fries.

Food was mediocre. Service was prompt. Beer was good. Atmosphere was nice. Would I go back. Maybe if it was group that asked me to but by choice or for the food. Lots of other options nearby that are better food wise. Ordered chicken fried prime rib. Batter was thick. Potatoes and gravy were good. The spinach was swimming in salty bacon fat ... inedible. Wife ordered chicken fried chicken. Her meal was better. Server offered to change out my meal. I chose not to send it back. Ate the fried steak without the batter which was fine.

I ordered delivery through a third-party and after waiting an hour my order was cancelled. I called the restaurant and the manager, Andrew, was extremely helpful. He said his kitchen could make me a fresh veggie burger on the house for the inconvenience. I only had to pick it up. I picked up the burger and inquired about the best dessert. Andrew ran inside and came back with a warm and delicious butter cake. All of the food was delicious and I can't wait to return and dine-in!

The food here is AMAZING! Service was great and the receptionist was extremely knowledgeable. They even have their own handmade house condiments. And I am speechless about the deserts. I had the buttercake this time, but don't skip out on the Apple-Huckleberry open face pie. I needed a pillow and a nap afterwards 😆

Not bad Had lunch at about 11 am on a Monday. Took about 25 minutes or so to get our order out, but we weren’t in a rush. What we liked: * Patio access allows dogs! * Food was served hot * Our server threw in an extra order of fries after our order came out a bit late * Servers were friendly What we didn’t like: * Both of our hamburgers came slathered with sauce. Wife and I both felt it would have been a lot better with even half the amount * Even though we weren’t in a rush, we definitely noticed a bit of a delay from when we ordered you getting our meal. I would have appreciated if server would have checked on us after about ten minutes or so. TLDR: Good food with great atmosphere especially if you’re a dog lover. We probably won’t return due to the distance from our home, but we ultimately had a good experience.

The best deal around is being a member of the Beer Club at Lazy Dog. The free beer sampler every month as well as the quarterly release of beers is amazing. Tonight we went to the restaurant and had a great experience with Brooke as our server. She suggested the Hop Attack Double IPA which was a great paring with the Pumpkin Cheesecake. Andrew was the manage on shift and stopped by to make sure everything was going well. We love the atmosphere and food here and it’s our go to restaurant.

Recently dined at 'The Lazy Dog' in NW Houston, and I've got to say, it's a refreshing spot in the local dining scene. The ambiance strikes a nice balance--it's inviting and trendy without trying too hard. Even when the crowd piles in, I've been pleasantly surprised by the short wait times. Always a win in my book! The menu is a culinary passport, offering a mix of American favorites with a sprinkle of Asian flair, along with other various culturally inspired styles. I've had a chance to sample a bit of everything, from the fried deviled eggs to the BBQ burgers and ribs. Each dish had its own unique twist, making every visit feel like a new experience. And if you're in the mood for a drink, their Old Fashioned doesn't disappoint. I've dropped by about three times now, and each visit has been consistently good. Not to forget, they've got a welcoming outdoor space that's a nod to our furry friends. It's not all about the dogs, but it's a thoughtful touch for those who like to dine with their canine sidekick. All in all, 'The Lazy Dog' offers a solid dining experience with a side of charm. Worth a visit if you're in the area!

We have a great time tonight we ordered Wok Fire Grilled Chicken: The wok fire grilled chicken at Lazy Dog was a delightful surprise. It had a perfect blend of smokiness and tenderness, making it a flavorful choice for dinner. The accompanying vegetables added a nice touch to the dish. We are ordered Black and Blue Burger: The black and blue burger was a savory treat. The char-grilled flavor of the burger patty combined with the tangy blue cheese created a mouthwatering combination. It’s a must-try for burger enthusiasts. also Bottle of Wine - “The Prisoner”: “The Prisoner” wine was an excellent choice to complement the meal. Its rich, full-bodied flavors paired wonderfully with the dishes, enhancing the overall dining experience. A great selection from their wine list. Overall, Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar delivered a satisfying dining experience tonight with delicious dishes and a well-chosen bottle of wine, making it a great place for a relaxing dinner.

Wonderful experience!!!! I honestly can’t say enough positive things about my first visit (of probably many) to Lazy Dog restaurant!! Upon walking in I was immediately impressed by the atmosphere and vibe of the dining room, bar and patio! Cozy, classy and comforting all at once!! Our server, Curtis, was TOP NOTCH!! Attentive, friendly, helpful beyond my expectations. He brought out samples of a few beers to try before I landed on the Whoa Nellie Lager. Along the way, I discovered the Beer Club! So many perks for only $39 per quarter!! I’m not sure I even understand it all - and was so excited when Curtis brought over my first quarterly “perk” of an 8 pack of beers and a cute glass! The food —— delicious!!! It was hard to imagine the caliber of food when there is such a wide array of choices! Not being super hungry I tried the Coconut Shrimp appetizer with a tasty slaw-type salad underneath (with a peanut dressing). I thoroughly enjoyed it!! We also sampled the yummy Garlic Parmesan Chips!! Yum!! My friend had the Mediterranean Chicken Bowl and was very pleased with the flavor and portion size. Dinner wouldn’t be complete without dessert and we happily tried the Butter cake with ice cream and strawberry sauce!!! Wow!!! I look forward to another visit to try more of the menu and enjoy the perks of the Beer Club again!! Definitely excited to come and sit on the patio with our dog if this weather ever cools off! Thank you to Curtis, the manager and staff for a 5 star first visit!!!

My husband and I came here for the first time ever, and had an amazing experience. Sam, our waiter, and Tim, one of the managers, are exceptional at taking care of their customers! Any food item we had an issue with was resolved immediately with no quarrels or questions. That being said, the food was amazing! There is something for everybody here, and we highly recommend it. We will definitely be back soon

The food was ok. The pickled cucumbers were good. The Cajun fries and ranch were really tasty. The best part was my server. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding. My first order was too spicy. She returned it to the kitchen and didn't charge me. Without hesitation. Great place to stop in for a good bite to eat.

There is a lot of variety in menu they have great options and the outdoor seating is nice and pet friendly! They have good burgers & everything I’ve tried here is great. Definitely recommend trying their IPA Trio sampler they are good sizes and you get to choose 3 different types of IPA’s. They have great drinks I recommend the Moscow mule I love cheese so I love the 5 cheese grilled cheese plus they have really good Cajun fries to to go along with that
