I had forgotten how much I loved this place! First time back in 15 years. We can always count on delicious and filling food, as well as friendly and reliable staff, plus clean establishment. The large smoked salmon sandwich was almost enough for two people. Plus coleslaw and accoutrements.

The food is amazing. I loved our table and the New York theme. Our waitress Claire was so cheerful and polite and offered the best service. She recommended the pineapple and orange mimosa and it was so delicious. We ordered the stuffed cabbage as an appetizer and was delicious. I had the French dip sandwich and honestly the best one I have had. My bf had the Buffalo bill sandwich and he absolutely loved it. 5/5 stars for sure.

🅿️ Free Parking ⏰ Open 24 Hours 😋 Great Food 😁 Friendly Host 😎 Cool Servers 👖 Casual Dress 🧐 Interesting Crowed Great for drinks and late night food. You can pull up here at 3am and eat a full course dinner. Everything we ordered was good from the appetizer to the entrées. They even have a lot of healthy options. Where else in the city can you get food on the late night tip that is not expensive and healthy?

Environment was nice especially for those not from NY. Can see many iconic areas to try to visit. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food is good but not amazing. My chicken and waffles was lacking seasoning for both the chicken and breading but it was very moist. To find the location is not hard but the signs for the restaurant are outdated and not engaging which could discourage you to want to come (wanted to try this place since Google Maps had good reviews on it). This is a good place to try if new to the area.

Katz's never closes!! It had been years since I've been to this location. I remember why I enjoyed it so much. The food was awesome as I remember and even better than The Woodlands location. The atmosphere is completely different and very nostalgic. Staff was extra friendly even at the late hour I was there. 2am. I have to say that this was the best part of the night and I look forward to the next visit to Katz's

I am a transplanted New Yorker and was yearning for a Reuben sandwich. Guests are greeted at the door and my server promptly appeared at my table. I ordered a skinny Reuben and Iced tea. Verdict: the pastrami was a bit on the dry side. The dressing and sourkraut didn't taste like in New York. A very disappointing Reuben sandwich. Service is great and friendly. The restaurant is very clean and there's plenty of parking.

Katz's never seems to disappoint me! And I love that fact that it's open 24/7! There is always a wait time but I always expect there to be one :) Everything on the menu is KOSHER!! Which I love bc that means I can try everything on the menu without having to ask for substitutions!! Y'all need to go give them a try!

Great place to have a meal with friends late at night. The foods are flavorful, and the portions are not small at all. I will definitely come back for more

We always love Katz's. The French dip is absolutely amazing. My husband and I shared the large one. Our daughter got pancakes with Mac and cheese and devoured them. Our son got potato skins and said they were excellent. We ordered to dessert to go and I cannot wait to eat my cheesecake sandwich!! The staff is friendly, fast, and efficient. This place offers a fun, fantastic dining experience.

10/10, every time I go. It’s always a great time :) This trip, I enjoyed: the cranberry mimosa - a bottle of Prosecco and a glass of cranberry juice that I mixed 2 drinks myself with <3 so yummy the barbecue chicken tenders -sooooo good. I have 2 leftover and I can’t wait to pop them on a flatbread. Seriously so good, I’ll be ordering them every time now probably The fried pickles - if you know you know, and I LOVED this. Both foods paired with a delicious, perfectly consistent ranch dipping sauce. I spent just over 50$ after my tip, bill was just under 40. My waitress was wonderful, as was everyone working. My sleep schedule rotates, so having a place that’s 24/7 365 with great food is such a blessing. I love this restaurant :) Thanks for reading my review! I hope you have a wonderful day filled with kindness and prosperity.

I haven’t had Katz in a while. My mom and I came in at about 11 a.m. on a Tuesday. When we first got there, the place was completely empty, but it quickly became crowded. The service was good and the waitress was quick and knowledgeable. I got the open faced roast beef sandwich, which was packed with meat. I would not get it again but it definitely was not nasty. I had not previously looked at the menu or reviews before coming so I just ordered the most popular sandwich that came with fries. This leads me to my only complaint, most sandwiches don’t come with fries. Personally I feel like this is inconvenient. Most of the sandwiches are atleast $9 and they don’t come with fries. I would be interested in trying the desserts but I don’t see myself coming back anytime soon.

First time here and fairly impressed. The decor is rustic and has NYC metro/subway theme. I ordered the Yankee Pot Roast with a side of Matzo ball soup. Pot Roast is cooked to perfection. Matzo was just right pinch of sodium not too greasy. Oh and the Oreo cheesecake is tastes like horchata yum.

My favorite restaurant in Houston TX. Honestly I can’t describe how good everything is, the vibe, the food, the drinks, it is the best. I love that is known to be open for 24/7, 365 days, literally “Never Closes”. The food is bomb specially after a long day or a long night partying. I’ve been here so many times for breakfast and dinner. I don’t have a picture of the food but I recommend the any if the burgers and sandwiches.

It was the first time I visited Katz's, one of the finest restaurants in America. There was a customer survey, the most irrelevant question on the table was did the manager visit your desk. Of course I said no and hung it upside down on the table. 5 minutes later the manager Vanessa came and asked how I was doing and if i liked my order. Like a joke. The waitress Lanae took very good care of it. Raven sandwich was awesome. Then, of course, I ate chocolate cake. I can't wait to come again. I guess I won't wait long because it's open 24 hours. Katz's never kloses. Only thing is default tip. You should add sthng %10:))

We stopped in for a late lunch this afternoon and had a delicious meal! Our server was excellent with her suggestions and helped us decide exactly what we wanted. We ordered a “Skinny” corned beef sandwich on rye with thick cut NY style chips and a Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. We were happy to be able to order of the breakfast menu at 3:30 in the afternoon. The meal came to the table quickly and was perfectly prepared. The best thing about Katz’s is….Katz’s never Kloses!

Tried the flight of margaritas and they were a great start if you’re unsure about what to drink. I must say the French toast was the highlight of my night. I will definitely be back.

We decided to visit after church. It was not busy. I would say it was about 1/3 full. The food came reasonably quick. My sandwich, the katz meow, was ok. I wouldn't get it again. My son's cheeseburger, the Carnegie or something, was awesome. My wife's Buffalo chicken salad was pretty good. My son ordered cheesecake and it took a long time to come out... too long for something you just slice. The food was a little bit pricey, but the atmosphere is nice and the staff was very friendly. We will go back and try again.

We used to stop at Katz's alot when I lived in Houston. It wad nice to pass back again on our last trip to Houston. Food was consistently good as always. - Nosh Basket - The Three Stooges (Corned Beef, Pastrami, Turkey) - The Monte Kristo

A great place to grab delicious diner food any hour of the day! During peak hours there can be a wait but it's usually not long before you're seated. And if you don't have time to stay for desert, definitely ask for a piece of cheesecake to go! There is parking behind the building and across the street.

One of my favorite places to get some good comfort good at any hour! My love the French dip, make sure to add some sautéed mushrooms. The environment is relaxed and the service is always fast. Make sure to get a slice of tall NY Cheesecake before you leave.

Katz’s never kloses and is NO LONGER KOSHER. Sausage and bacon are pork. Was not the case 4 years ago, any bacon was “beef bacon”. Bacon cheeseburger right on the menu. Very disappointed that there was nothing on the menu indicating what items were pork. I know most people won’t care but to those who do, it’s a big deal. No longer a safe place to take anyone who requires a kosher or muslim menu. We could not eat our appetizer. We mentioned this to the server (who didn’t tend to us for a very long time as we watched her assisting tables that came in after us) and they didn’t offer to remove it from the check even though we could not eat it and neither her or the bidder even removed it from the table when requested. We asked if it was still kosher upon arrival and were told yes. We had to finally ask for a pickle from a different server because we waited so long. Anyway… 1 inedible app, 2 sandwiches $55 dollars. I intended to leave a cash tip but was told the tip was already on our credit card, which we didn’t approve… I skipped the selection on the unsanitized hand held cc machine. Never going to this downtown location again.

Parking: Plenty of parking around the side of the building. atmosphere: New York City decor. Very clean, very organized, no issues there. Service: If I could give my server six stars, I would. My wife and son have never been to Katz and were conflicted on what to get. He was very patient and informative. Want him every time we go. The food was great. I had matzo ball soup to start, a reuben sandwich for my actual entree, my wife and I shared the carrot cake. All were delicious. The family was very happy with their choices. Six stars.

Bring on the late night munchies! The breakfast here at 2am just slaps. I could go on about how it's perfectly located by the Heights and Montrose; and how the pancakes are like fluffy maple infused flying saucers that just makes everything better....I guess I could go on. Nonetheless even if it's not a late night trio this is my go-to for brunch on Saturdays as well.

What a great place! Everyone greeted us when we came in. One of the managers, Chris came over and chatted with us for a bit, our server Camilla, was fabulous 🤩. She was attentive and charming. When we first arrived, the very sweet host seated us in a section downstairs but due to the rain, we were cold and asked to sit upstairs, our original server (did not catch his name) was VERY sweet and tolerant of moving us from his section to upstairs. Great experience with amazing food! Will be back!

We had the Reuben sandwich, one skinny and one klassic, and it was very good! We also had a piece of chocolate explosion cake that was incredible! The staff was extremely friendly! We will be back!

Chante is a gift (our waitress).....she made our lunch so fun.....we drove from San Antonio to eat here after my BF's treatment at MD Anderson Cancer center ....rough morning and he was really looking forward to a better day...her giggly demeanor and thoughtful attention was a sweet finish to his painful morning.....the food was more than filling it was grand with a lovely presentation and finger licken goodness.....the potato pancakes are to die for (thank you Chante) and both our corned beef meals were good for a leftover meal as well this evening....and the coffee...mmmm mmmm hot n strong.......It was also a perfect temperature there to cool off. Thank you Katz and staff for your hard work.....really made us out-of-towners feel like family......so after our hotel stay tonight we will enjoy breakfast there as well on our way back home.

We went for a pretty late night dinner and for it being a diner, they had better options than IHOP, Denny’s, and Waffle House. Reasonably priced and a good place to go when nothing else is open late at night. I got the Alfredo and Peach Refresher. They were good.
