I’ve been coming here since February of this year. When I started coming, the staff was great, they would ALWAYS greet you coming in and leaving. I mean they could be on the phone, and would still at least wave to you coming in and leaving. The gym was always super clean, and bathrooms were always stocked. Now? You’re lucky if the staff even acknowledges you scanning your membership card. I mean the times these past 2 months that either nobody was at the desk, or even paying attention to who’s walking in, I don’t even have to be paying for a membership at this point. The trash cans never have any bags which is weird. The bathrooms hardly ever have toilet paper, lucky if it does. God forbid I ever had to shower here because the showers are DISGUSTING compared to how clean they would be a few months ago. I’ve seen this same ball of hair in one of the girls showers since last Tuesday. When stuff breaks, it’s usually broken for a few months at a time. The seated leg curl machine was broken for like 6 months, I haven’t even been able to use it much in my time here. They haven’t replaced any grips/ handles for the cables. When I came there was a lot and now there’s a lot missing, yet to be replaced. You have to bring your own stuff for the cable machines. The equipment is nice. It’s insanely busy around 4-8p M-F, but any other time not so much which is good. The other members here are great people, occasionally you get that one vlogging person that puts their camera 20ft away from them and get mad when someone walks by (even though it’s a small gym). Overall, good atmosphere except for the unmotivated staff, lack of cleanliness and a lot of other things. I’m currently looking for another gym because the staff is the main part that ruins my experience.They’re always on their phone not having a care in the world. And there’s too many teenagers just sitting around on equipment on their phone taking pictures and videos laughing and what not. If you’re thinking about joining, just don’t. There are better gyms for sure.

I’m giving a 4-star for the quality of the gym equipment. Bathrooms and simpler amenities could use some serious cleaning. I loved it until I started to notice that the staff members started to show some lack of professionalism. It would often get crowded around 6pm (which is normal). However, for a commercial gym there where too many kids taking up serious amounts of space do record their lifts. (3-4 machines at a time). It seemed those same kids knew some of the staff members well so they were never really told anything. No consequences for being inconsiderate of other people. So, I switched away from this gym. A real bummer. Great gym, with terrible politics between members and the staff. That’s where I call on their lack of professionalism. Not all members get treated the same here unless you know them well. If none of that bothers you, then It’s a great gym. No sauna No pool Just locker rooms and equipment.

going to agree with last poster said and this gym has a massive teenager/ preteen problem who dont know how to properly use weights ; if you look strong they stare all day at you I dont know out of admiration or spite ; the few I tried to conversation with were absolutely disrespectful and rude ; teenagers these days have 0 respect for adults and it shows ; the facility after evening might as well be closed I thought since school started again these teenagers would decrease in number so far its the same kids with big arms but everything else out of shape that come in 5+8 a group and horde a machine Ive timed as much as an 1 and 30 min that get nothing done that laugh and seem to mock the other gym members behind their snickering and laughing Im just here until October but 24 hr fitness is the way to go !

Too many teens and people recording themselves. Holding up machines. They need to add a no recording policy that takes up too much time trying to set themselves up instead of just jumping on a machine and go . Other then that , clean gym but LA fitness never made things uncomfortable.

I really don’t recommend this place. It started off really good. Don’t like the fact that you have to go to the front desk to ask for some of the equipment to work out and they ask you to leave your personal belongings in place of the equipment. I understand your equipment is getting stolen but you guys need to have a better system in place because of this I will be taking my business somewheres else. Also be aware of the cancellation fee if you decide to cancel, which was never mentioned in the beginning when I was signing up.

I love this gym! First of all, the manager is very helpful and courteous. They have the best environment to get a workout in. The staff is the best and their equipment is always cleaned and ready to go! I would absolutely recommend!

First time here. I like the atmosphere and so far it's good. The hours could be adjusted better to stay open late night.

Great place. Within walking distance of my house. I changed to this gym from Planet Fitness. But the machines and equipment are clogged up with kids taking selfies and not using the equipment. The staff is at the front desk just on cell phones.

Not a bad gym but need to enforce a dress code because too many people walking around with no shirts on.

I definitely wish they had heavier Dumbbells, their heaviest is 90lbs and that’s it. I’ve gone both at 5am and 6pm. For it being a small gym, it isn’t too bad. It stays clean, although for some reason I’ve seen roaches twice in the 2-3 years I’ve been going. They’ve had break ins at the parking lot, Afternoon is overly crowded. Crowded as if I’m in a popular house party. 5am is perfect, everyone is mature and not crowded. They’ve had broken machines but thankfully they don’t stay broken for too long. All in all I wish they had more accessories for the cable machines, for the the Carabiner clips not go missing as often, heavier dumbbells. I have two memberships one is here because it’s a Convenient location for me for a.m work outs before I go to work And my other is LA fitness for afternoon workouts in case I miss my morning gym session I can go home then go to LA

I’ve never had trouble here. Majority of equipment is available. I did notice they zip tie the attachments for the pull cables, so if you want to change the attachments you have to get staff to help you. I haven’t really noticed a problem with teenagers, maybe in the summer and after 4pm. I squally go at 8pm or mornings on the weekends, not too many people or kids. They have wipes to clean equipment, staff is friendly but like they have to cause it’s their job kinda vibe. The place stays pretty clean. It’s an okay gym, I wish they had another smith machine since there’s only 1.

Facility is constantly having water issues to where the toilets and water fountains do not work. Very dirty environment. Employees are mostly kids who spend most of their time on their phone. If it weren’t so close to my house, I’d find another gym.

Horrible Gym if i could give this gym zero star i would, signed up 3 days before the month ended and was charged for the whole month and the next one as well, was never told by the employees that i was going to be charged $61 on my second month for the yearly annual payment. I tried cancelling my membership and they charged me for that as well.

started since february was great at first but then it just started getting worse. not surprised with the staff they have now and how they just don’t seem to care or start turning the lights off when i have 2 mins to work out , I could injure myself since i can’t even see anything. Waited months for a machine to get fixed and now with all the kids you got going machines are never open or available and people have no gym etiquette in there , no regards to other people that wanna work out. If you wanna work out don’t go after 4-5pm it’s packed with kids wasting time , messing around.

I love this gym! I have 3 gyms in my backyard but would rather come here. Awesome equipment. Always clean. Never packed. Great staff!

Love my new gym!! Good job. That only thing I don’t like it’s that there’s not place to put your bicycle. Sometimes I ride and I don’t feel comfortable leave it unlocked.

Been a member for 2 months now and I am loving the gym. The atmosphere is great hygienic is very well kept. Everything I need and more not too big just the right size and not too crowded.

This gym is really nice. New and working equipment and it has everything I need. It's also spaced out nicely. The personal trainer isn't too available at this location but hopefully they'll get more trainers as they grow at this location.

Most clean and non busy gym,don't have to wait on no machine or squat racks. The employees are always friendly and good ppl. My go to gym in all Houston.

Ive been coming here for the last year and it has been great until recently. (Which is understanding)There are too many people here in the afternoon. I understand the afternoon is rush hour, but its absurd. They also need more equipment (dumbells, bench, and squat racks. Get rid of most of the cardio equipment and add more free weights. Not enough equipment here for all the people. Positive is Staff is great.

Staff is pretty dismissive. I understand not wanting to be at work but that is definitely not my fault. When you have questions they give an air that you are annoying them and if you have a question you will have to wait until they finish their conversation with each other. Gym is basic gym machines are standard I’d just recommend going to another location. (Also to the girl with one acrylic left just let it go bae.)

Needs major improvement, low class area. Few people clean their machine off or put weights back. No toilet paper or soap in the bathroom most of the time. Just generally a bit unclean all over. Night and day compared to the one on westheimer.

Aside from the welcoming atmosphere, clean facility, and friendly staff, Tony was a huge help with helping me sign up for my membership. He was super friendly and knowledgeable which made the process really quick and easy. Great customer service!

I just canceled my membership before the next bill because I couldn't go anymore due to health reasons and they said I have to pay anyway next month and that I can still go until May 5th. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. It doesn't make sense, because if you're canceling it's because you can't anymore and they shouldn't have to charge you for the service if you're not going to use it. I had to pay an extra month. When I can return I will go to another gym.
