Upon arrival, I walked in the front door. There are 2 doors and they say the first one is always unlocked. Before someone act knowledge me, I stood there for at least a minute ( which is scary) because the window was wide open at the front desk and if I were a killer or bad person, they wouldnā€™t need the door because no one was upfront and they could just hop in the window to have access to the kids. Apparently it was picture day! A teacher came finally and told me they were busy doing pictures and I would need to come back or wait 20-30 for the director to finish up! No problem, I thought! So she gives me a packet and is looking for the tuition pamphlet, then the director comes in. She doesnā€™t introduce herself, she just start asking me questions and says, if I want a tour to come back in 4 hours and she could give me one. Not cool! I didnā€™t feel wanted there at all. She did explain how it was picture day and she was running all over the place but thatā€™s no excuse to not be professional or to have me come back hours later when the teacher only said 30 minutes and she looked shocked and puzzled that the director said come back so late. The teacher was nice and tried to help me with everything but it wasnā€™t enough for me to feel comfortable with leaving my child there, so we will try the next Montessori. I loved that they taught Spanish, sign language and English. Will keep looking for the best fit!

The teachers and directors are very caring / attentive and the owner Josh has a very high standard as well and is always trying to improve. My son attended Goddard Lake Houston for 2 and a half years (Age 2.5 - 5). We are very pleased with his progress academically and feel that he is very prepared for kindergarten in Humble ISD. We highly recommend Goddard Lake Houston!

My son has thrived at Goddard WLH! All the teachers and staff are wonderful. The classrooms where so well decorated, each room felt like a little adventure. Sadly we moved away and we all sorely miss this special place.

Staff is professional, Josh is hands-on, and the ā€œWonder of Learningā€ curriculum seems to be fantastic. I highly recommend Goddard School of Lake Houston.

I can't say enough good things about Goddard Lake Houston. Josh and his team were outstanding in helping to accelerate all three of my childrenā€™s educational development throughout the years before moving onto elementary.

I absolutely love this school, teachers and staff. The school is extremely clean and I love the fact that the teachers taught my two year old daughter how to do sign language as well, make the correct animal sounds and potty training was AMAZING!! Hands down I recommend this school.

Cannot express more how much I have cherished this school for our kiddo. We have a very active little girl, and instead of it being negative and frowned up (like previous establishments), they reassured us that its normal for kids to need to move around. They even went so far as to order special items to help encourage her to sit for stories, in her chair, etc! This place will genuinely care about your child and keep them safe.

10/10 recommend the Goddard School of Lake Houston. The staff is filled with wonderful, patient, and driven people who enjoy teaching. The ā€œWonder of Learningā€ curriculum seems to be brilliant. Itā€™s refreshing to see a stuff that truly cares and wishes the best for the kids. The owner Josh is very hands-on and determined to provide the best for the kids.

The Goddard School of Lake Houston stands out in many ways! Firstly, Mrs. Rebecca and the staff are incredibly impressive, showing unwavering dedication to the children's well-being and growth, which is truly heartening to witness. The facility is meticulously maintained and designed with safety as its top priority. The ample and inviting play areas offer a diverse range of engaging activities, ensuring the children remain enthusiastic about attending the center each day. What truly distinguishes this childcare center is the staff's genuine affection and care for the children, creating an environment that nurtures learning, creativity, and social development, making it feel like a warm and welcoming home. Additionally, their commitment to providing nutritious meals and snacks is commendable, offering the assurance that your child is enjoying well-balanced and protein-rich meals during their time at the center.

My daughter has been at Goddard for a couple months now. My nephew was also here a few years ago. Amy, Alyssa & Josh are great and make us feel like part of the family. My daughter is 3.5 and an extremely picky eater and her teacher Ms. Emily has been helping her so much to try new things. Every day she comes home saying she had so much fun!

My child seems to be MUCH happier and is progressing much more quickly since he started here. This school has been exactly what we needed in our lives.

School has gone downhill drastically, it's a sad the stories you hear from other Mom's who have removed their kids. Our child was traumatized and did not want to go back to school, we picked her up sleeping in her own urine multiple times, got many excuses - and since moving her the child's vocabulary has more than tripled and she's excited to go to school - please try other daycares. Primrose Balmoral, Primrose Atascocita, Kiddie Academy, Childrens Lighthouse all better choices. They all have hot fresh food and all but Primrose have cameras. I wouldn't send my dog here.

Goddard Lake Houston is a great place to take your little ones! To be honest, a big part of why we chose GLH is due to their director, Amy. Her tour answered all the questions we didn't know we had as first time parents at the time. Other daycares felt impersonal, odd smelling, or not very secure. Amy was a Mom first before she worked for Goddard and it shows in how she treats parents and kids. In addition, they're staff truly cares for the kids. The structure and consistency they have in the classroom shows at home. This continues to build the trust between us as parents with the school. I feel like they love our son and are genuine. We wouldn't go any where else.

My son went to Goddard on Lake Houston for 1.5 years. They were the first to care for him other than myself. I absolutely recommend this center. The staff is so caring, professional, patient and they make sure to get to know you and your kids. They go the extra mile when a child is not comfortable or feeling sad. Thank you to all the teachers and staffā€¦. We will miss you. THANK YOU!

We have been at Goddard Lake Houston for 2 years and we are so thankful we chose this school for our son! He is excelling in every area, and at age 4.5, he is already reading! Josh, Amy and Alyssa go above and beyond for us, and we are so blessed to be a part of the Goddard family!

For moms like me who want it all - a career and happy, thriving kids, the Goddard School is the place that helps make it happen. My son attended for two years, and knowing he was safe, happy and thriving gave me the space I needed to be my best at work. I loved my time with my kiddo in the evenings and on weekends, when I would learn all of the new things heā€™d been taught that week. Now that weā€™re interviewing new preschools (because of an international move), Iā€™m being complemented on my confident, secure, curious child - attributes that were nurtured by the staff and rewarded by the curriculum at The Goddard School. Raising a child takes a village, and I am lucky to have had The Goddard School as a part of that village for the time that we could.

The Goddard School was amazing! The staff took time to learn who my son was and make him feel welcome. They were patient, understanding and I could tell they cared about him a lot. Goddard will always be my first choice and recommendation to anyone! Thank you Goddard!

A great place. The owners are AMAZING and the parents and children are such a blessing. I had so much fun working here especially with summer camp. The children made my morning every morning with the smiles and hugs and the parents where always so wonderful. I defiantly miss working here and would go back in a heart beat. The children made coming into work so much fun with the eagerness to learn everyday and leaving work just made me all the more excited for the next day. Defiantly a place any child would be blessed to call their school.

The staff is incredibly accommodating, easy to talk to, and makes the effort to really know the parents in addition to the kids. The quality of all employees is superb - each one engaging and kind. I also applaud them for navigating COVID-19 so seamlessly. Before any regulations were made mandatory, Goddard Lake Houston was already taking precautions and implementing higher health and safety standards. My kids and I feel extremely safe and taken care of throughout the constant changes surrounding the pandemic.
