First of all, most of the staff was absolutely lovely. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly security guard and directed to the counter. The social worker was great and the nurse was an absolute angel on earth. However, I cannot say the same about Dr. Janarthaan. She was cold, condescending, and completely lacking the empathy REQUIRED to be a doctor and thatโ€™s not even considering the fact that I was a patient in a mental health crisis. I donโ€™t know where she went to school and did her training, but she was clearly ranked low in her class. Not only did she not listen to me, she didnโ€™t take a proper history, misdiagnosed me, and prescribed the wrong medication. She should not be practicing medicine. Perhaps the fast food industry would be more suitable for her skills and personality. Avoid her at all costs. Not only did I waste 5 hours, I left in a worse mental state than when I arrived.

I had phone interview with Pilar Patrick last week.it went very well. So I asked what would my next steps for hiring be. She assured meI would not have to interview against when I was called the following week for another interview I was confused but being a team player I didn't complain. I went and bought a nice suit and I have worked in the mental health field over 10+ years so I was confident the interview would go great.everything that could go wrong did even the car I was using broke down so with me being determined to get there I paid 30.00 for a Lyft and I arrived I was 15 minutes late so I was already frantic and stressed but I continued to answer the same exact questions she had asked the prior week however it wasn't until I mentioned that NOBODY was dying of covid in my other hospital so I wasn't nervous about it that she began to talk to me ask if I was crazy. Last week I was qualified. You're asking the same questions now I'm crazy and you're not asking me about my qualifications but you're talking down to me like I'm a psychopath. Asking me about my why I quit my job which I a reasonable question but then telling me why I shouldn't have quit my job was not her business and mind u I had told her this the week prior to meeting her and getting into my personal business that had nothing to do with my qualifications for the position and she clearly over stepped her boundaries. She crossed the line. I have never been so embarrassed or hurt at a interview I literally left in tears. I was humiliated and offended. If this is how she treated me for a interview God bless her clients. I have never in my life been so hurt at a interview ever. I forgive her but that was uncalled for and very unprofessional.she even told me she would give me her churches information as if I need Jesus and I am a child Of God so even that was out of line talking to im a psych patient instead of a actual person applying for a job like a I went for a interview....I didn't know I was signing up for Iyanla Fix my life. This place is unprofessional and she's unprofessional. You're supposed to be helping people not hurting people. Clearly she's in the wrong field.

How and why is this place turning away patients because they're not in network with an insurance plan? And even say they won't see the patient as self pay? Isn't this supposed to be a public government hospital? Then don't even contact you to let you know beforehand to explain ? Either someone is not doing their job or don't know what the hell they're doing!!

If I could put a 0 I would. The front desk and medical assistants there are disrespectful, racist and ignorant. They are no help whatsoever they act like they own the business and treat patients horribly by letting them suffer in cold conditions and making fun of patients disabilities. If you need information they don't have answers and always try to just hang up mid sentence. I work in the medical field and this staff is just not right for the job.

I tried to get help here for depression and I felt much worse. They are overbook and have zero respect for your time, your condition. No privacy , they ask you mental health questions in front of everyone. They asked me for my address out loud. I went twice . Just trying to receive some support. I left both time because of the wait time and extremely poor service.

My son was admitted here on an involuntary bases. He truly needed the help. The doctors and nurses kept me very well informed and got him stabilize enough to come home. They provided me with resources to continue his treatment plan. Thank you for caring.

Dr. Villario is really good Psychiatrist. She helps you get to the root of your problem without putting you on more meds She listens to everything you tell her and takes lots of notes. However the mobile crisis outreach team is not good about answering phone calls. You get a caseworker and you call them and they don't even pick up if they do return your call it's amazing. You all need to do better about answering your patient's phone calls.

Greg Dickson, Patient Advocate with Harris County Psychatric Hospital referred us to this facility as being a walk in and payment on a sliding scale. NOT TRUE. Security guard would not allow to speak with anyone in the psychiatry department. PERIOD. Phone calls not returned. If you need mental health treatment do NOT go to this horrible facility. This place is stupid how yโ€™all finna treat โ€œsuicidalโ€ patients by making them wait hours and hours through each process doing nothing in a room at all whatsoever with one small tv with in only Spanish and like 50 ads every 10 minutes. Then yโ€™all wanna say no phone the whole time, that is so stupid you deadass just sit there looking at the wall for hours and hours youโ€™re always gonna be waiting hours for something. If you guys care about stopping people from killing themselves make it so they arenโ€™t bored out their minds, the whole time I was there, when I arrived until I got discharged I was always waiting hours and hours. actually a lot of them are pretty nice but itโ€™s just the system like it is so bad yโ€™all canโ€™t put English tv or even cartoons on?

Dr. Nyid is the most unprofessional insensitive psychiatrist I've ever had the displeasure of hearing about from my family member who was going through a crisis and being threatened to have her admitted to a hospital. What kind of a "psychiatrist" makes threats to someone who is having such a tough time with their mental health. This will be escalated to the highest level It can be taken to. Nobody should have to have the displeasure of dealing with this atrocious sorry excuse for a human when their lives are in duress ever again.

Thanks for everything, all of you are very attentive and kind. And the boy that took the vital signs and sang the Happy Birthday and offer a party to my daughter to celebrate her birthday was really nice. Thanks again. ๊’ฐโ‘…แต•เผšแต•๊’ฑห–โ™ก

My experience was beyond amazing but when I learned the best nurse they had have left, I no longer want to go there. Charge nurse Angie was such a sweetheart and she truly cared for the well being of her staff and patients and she is truly missed.

Very good place to send your loved one for stabilization if they are having a crisis. They took care of our loved one and got him to the right hospital that we requested. He is now back on meds and doing well. Thank you!

Bad bad place ๐Ÿ˜” they didn't help my child and instead neglected her she had to go to the naughty chair and since they didn't feed her she started to eat the chair. This caused her to have constipation and then they left her at the bus stop ๐Ÿ˜ญ. It has been a week since I picked her up from the bus stop and she is still constipated. I am very worried for her now. ๐Ÿ˜ž never come here ppl. The only person that can save my daughter now is Jesus amen!amen!amen! ๐Ÿ™
