😠 This place was terrible. My husband was in an accident and when I got there there there was someone else stuff in the room and tubes of blood on the chair. He told me he had already mentioned it but I went out and asked about. 15 minutes later a nurse came in and said they were his just in case they... This place was terrible. My husband was in an accident and when I got there there there was someone else stuff in the room and tubes of blood on the chair. He told me he had already mentioned it but I went out and asked about. 15 minutes later a nurse came in and said they were his just in case they needed to run further test. OK but why were they just there on the chair?? And why was there someone else's things in the room?? Wouldn't you want to make sure the room is clean out before a new patient was there. I had to ask her to take all of the stuff out and she looked bothered by it. They also did not clean his wounds off he has road rash and they could have at least cleaned them so there was no chance of infection. Yes they did run a few test to make sure was nothing was broken but other then that the nurses did nothing for him other then take our information to bill us. No antibiotics or anything just a waste of time and money.

Can we please get ZERO STARS!! I myself noticed I am not the only patient who received dissatisfaction from this ER. They do not treat us the way patients should be treated, let alone humans. I witnessed two weeks ago a receptionist ignoring an elderly lady who was in extreme pain; she was crying out for help and both of the receptionist ignored her. Today, a lady around mid forty’s, early fifty’s was in excruciating pain & it took a DR a long time to come out to help her, even other nurses & DRs didn’t tend to her while her husband patiently waited all that time looking at them pass her by. By the time a DR came out to see what was wrong, she came back out and told her husband that they didn’t do anything for her, she cried and stated, “this is not normal”. He went back to the receptionist & asked for another DR to tend to his wife. When they came back out and took her away, she came back out and still looked dissatisfied. This will now be my third time seeing her go back inside. Tears left my eyes because I felt so bad and felt like I couldn’t do anything to help her medically. I came here three times because the distance (& other things) are convenient for me, besides the horrible service. I met with ONE DR/Nurse out of ALL the other medical staff I met & i LOVED him (just one DR, and I hate I do not know his name, he wears a burgundy scrub & he’s a white male, early thirties, LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM). I don’t recommend this hospital, this will be my last time coming here because there’s always something to complain about. Also, the ER wait is entirely too long; the longest I’ve been here (not including today) has been six hours. I asked one of the receptionist to notify a DR that my IV was making my arm go numb & they took my situation as an understatement, like they do with everyone else. Whether or not blood is needed throughout the whole time you’re admitted, they will leave in the IV until you are discharged. More than thirty minutes passed when a nurse came to take out my IV; I felt like they didn’t care at all. From what I constantly witness and go through myself, I see the whole staff needs to be switched out & develop/strengthen their medical assistance. I believe if you have something very serious, do not come here. Especially if it’s life threatening. I believe by the time someone screams for help, the medical staff won’t care enough to make it in time, leaving patients worried, scared, close to passing out, and more. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE! A child complained about passing out & they took forever to assist him. When you walk in, you see people laying across chairs because the medical staffs excuse to having you wait a long time is because they don’t have available rooms. Which is false. I recommend reporting to the board because this has been going on too long & it still is going on. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES SO THE HOSPITALS OR NURSING HOMES WON’T HAVE TO, not everyone cares & sadly even the ones in the medical/hospitality field.

Horrible service! Worst hospital. Don’t come here they don’t treat you like you have an emergency. We’ve been waiting 4 hours and everyone that got here after us has been seen now and we asked if we got skipped and they just said no and nothing else. My husband is in pain and I’m worried sick. At least one nurse or someone should of told us something by now! Not to mention I had to sit outside the whole time but when I went to check on things they had people inside the whole time and I sat in the cold. Over all just felt like no one cared and I’m not even sure writing this will help.

My husband was in the ER. Not only did he sit there for HOURS with hypertension stage 3 which is CRITICAL ( blood pressure of 183/108) but the nurse FORGOT to give him the meds the doctors ordered for him!!! I work in the medical field, have worked in a busy ER and this is such a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

My dad for two days straight was not feeling well. So two days ago my mom sent my dad to the emergency room and had to be kept over night since he was so much in pain. (He had a stomach ache). A nurse took my dads IV and missed a nerve. Though this is common, my dads arms had a big bruise and it hurt for more than 24 hours. My dad when he came home did indeed felt much better. The hospital trip was definitely worth it. However, he also mentioned that the workers were rude. This I absolutely do not appreciate!!! For a long time my dad had to ease his stomach pain, and when getting treated had to deal with rude nurses. I understand their job is not easy but The attitudes/behavior in this hospital needs to change! As a daughter, I felt I needed to speak out.

I really want to like memorial Hermann because in my opinion it used to be a really great hospital with great care. Unfortunately, the last time I went here for a suspected heart attack, per the paramedics, I was left in the waiting room for seven hours without an EKG monitor hooked up to me or fluids, even after I was told I’d get both. I really expected better, but I cannot in good conscience return to this hospital, at least until their incompetent staff is replaced with good quality workers. I understand it’s not easy to run a hospital, but I would’ve expected better. One doctor in charge on the night shift is also highly unacceptable for a large hospital. I also don’t like how the priority when you first walk in is to get your payment information instead of triaging you.

It’s 6 years late but I went into the ER 8 weeks pregnant with (unbeknownst at the time) a sub chorionic hemorrhage. As I got on the table for a pelvic ultrasound I was shaking uncontrollably as the nurse yelled at me to hold still or she’s walking out. While bleeding we waited for 6 hours thinking we had lost the baby. As they were discharging us we asked the doctor what kind of after care we needed to help the baby pass and he found at this point might be a good time to tell us the baby is fine and healthy and looked at us like we were stupid. I understand it was a good outcome and we got extremely lucky but my god the unnecessary stress and inconsiderate bedside manner was astounding. Go somewhere, any where else.

This ER needs to be closed and reorganized everything from scratch. Need a deep cleaning, new staff and new everything. This is NoT an ER hospital in America. This looks like an hospital in Latin America.

My dad was transferred here and we were never told why, we got the runaround for the entire time he's been there, we can't get answers from anybody we just keep getting told "We're waiting to hear from his doctors" and then we never get a callback. He was brought a sandwich for a meal and when he requested something to drink he was told "you don't get to drink, you're a dialysis patient" and the nurse walked out. Just the sheer disregard and negligence of everyone we've dealt with is insane. The fact that this place is still running and being ran like this blows my mind. One star was too high of a score but I can't rank zero stars.

Brought my son in and waited over 3 hours for test results. Never brought to a room- just left out in the waiting room. The front desk told me the test results were in but could not tell me anything had to wait until someone could speak to me. I am still waiting. Worst experience ever! Of course my $250 co-pay has already been collected.

Lot of people said they would never comeback to the ER at this hospital in their review. People need to understand long wait is due to shortage of qualified medical personnel. Due to Covid-19 ER gets busier than normal. This the best ER facility in Southeast Houston area. I have had no problem treating me in timely manner during all my ER visits.

What a person should value most is health. And when health is compromised, what becomes most important is to receive the best possible treatment. We feel fortunate to be able to count on a high-quality medical service.

Entered ER around midnight to go see my sister-in-law who was in labor & my mom and I were told we would have to leave because there was already 4 people in her room (there’s also a separate waiting area on that floor so??). Guy was dismissive when we tried asking again, so our in-laws came to escort us to the room instead & suddenly we were all good to go. Turns out the guy at the desk just didn’t want to be bothered giving us directions/escorting us to the room so decided we just shouldn’t be allowed up to save himself the trouble 😒

The worst hospital ever. The guy working the front desk at night needs to take some anger management classes. People are sick and he’s talking to them like they’re stupid. All patients want to know is why it’s taking 4 hours to get some results back. Last time I come to this hospital. I will take my self to HCA Clearlake.

If I could get it 0 stars I would. I'd rather sit at my house and die, before I ever go back to this building they call an emergency room. Had me go back and forth to a room and the waiting room the entire time I'm there in horrific pain. Never got an actual room. Sat there in pain for HOURS. While listening to all the rns joke and laughing and horsing around back there. They didn't even put the iv in correctly and it exploded in my arm, and left a mega huge bubble in my arm. So I knew why the meds hurt so bad. It was 45mins to an hour each time I even saw a nurse or Dr. That came in for a minute or two. I hope you never are close enough to ever use this facility!!

I appreciate the staff in the ER so much. I had to go here twice for the same thing and both times they took me straight back, and took care of me. They’re efficient, empathetic, and professional. So glad I live nearby and this is my go to ER.

I went yesterday to this ER, and I have not been a patient of one in 10 years or so anyway. When the nurse or woman called my name, she asked what brought me in today. I said I had a fever of 99.2, chills, nausea due to other issues, diabetes, and a tooth pulled. The ER doctor called me back, showing I came in for coughing and sneezing—so much confusion, no medication, just urine, blood, COVID, flu. Yes, I understand it gets packed, but we come here for help and pain relief, not to be blown off and ignored.

One of the worst hospitals. You don’t expect when you just transferred there in an ambulance after a car accident that caused all airbags to be deployed to wait in their ER lobby for 3 hours and unfortunately too Moana people are waiting there too. If you have a choice don’t come to this hospital then don’t deserve to be called hospital

My wife was transferred to their ER in February by EMS. They stabilized and resuscitated her. They incubated her and then transferred her to ICU. The doctors and nurses were excellent.
