I would avoid this gym at all cost. Was a member there for 13 years and I never once missed a payment. The Owner George comes out of no where and accuses me of being really cheap and that I owned him more money. And this was one day after I just payed my monthly membership fee. Let's just say that the Owner is all about himself and doesn't really care about the customers. Rather than owning a gym, he should be in a mental institution

Be advised if you ever want to cancel your membership you will have to give 30 days handwritten notice by snail mail. It is supposed to be certified but at least he didn't hold me to that. If you are even 1 day off, as I was, you will be charged for the next month. It's in the contract I signed so it's on me. I supposed I should have made a fuss when I cut myself on their equipment because the steel cord was frayed but I didn't. I believe most of these contracts for gym membership waive any liability for injury to the gym even if the equipment is faulty. If you get hurt it's on you. If that concerns you read the contract before you sign. Other than the cancellation experience, the gym was fine for my needs. George was a personable guy and friendly. He knew our names and greeted us when we came in.

My girlfriend went to this gym and the owner had the audacity to say “you don’t look like you know what you’re doing, make sure you rerack your weights” (she’s been lifting for 3+ years) and while she was working out it’s like he kept walking around just check and see what she was doing, so she left and went to planet because it is not a comfortable environment for women. It makes sense why the gym is the size of a car wash.

It's more qualified gym facilities down the road. I wouldn't waste my time or money at this place. Especially if you are of color. Also did some work cleaning for the owner and for all the days there, he paid me 20 dollars.

Great selection of equipment for the individual just getting started to the seasoned lifter. A vast selection of exercise machines and tons of free weights are available. An all round great gym! Monthly memberships are offered at a very affordable rates and personal training is also available, also at very affordable rates as well.

I like this gym alot. The owner is a real nice guy. He suggested some great beginner workouts for me to get started. It's never packed and so I am able to smoothly transition from one workout to the next.

Great small, old school, bodybuilding gym with great equipment. Staff is helpful and friendly. Tons of trainers to fit anyones needs.

This gym is wonderful! All the coaches and the other members make you feel right at home! Everyone got a chance to know me and I was only there for a month! Very inclusive!

Wish I could give Costa's 6 stars. Don't let their modest exterior fool you this is a well equipped gym for all fitness levels. If you want to be apart of something and treated as a valued member this is the place. Better then any gym with numbers in their name.

Overall, I had a great experience at Costa's Gym. George was always personable and encouraging for you to meet your fitness goals. The other members and trainers were always friendly and more than happy to give you a spot or small tips if you asked for it. Ultimately, I ran into time constraints that didn't allow me to continue to be a member, but would recommend this gym to anyone in the area.
