😐 Drove down to Houston from Tennessee to celebrate NYE here. We bought $100 VIP tickets in advance, it still took about 1.5 hour to get in. Valet parking is a must because finding parking is impossible. Valet parking was $40. We had an okay time, I thought the DJ sucked. Amazing venue. The acoustics are great, the drinks were fairly priced for this sort of event, unlike $16 beer at Woodlands Pavilion. The sound was excellent, the lights were excellent, the bartenders were excellent, bathrooms were solid, ample street parking. I really hope to hear more music here in the future. Between the Buried and Me was a spiritual experience that I'll never forget.

I love this music venue! I've been here on five separate occasions and have always had a great time. The art, lighting, dancers, and view of the downtown skyline are incredibly beautiful. The music sounds great along with added special effects like fog and confetti. The staff are all friendly including skilled and knowledgeable bartenders. If you haven't been here yet you should definently check it out.

Great intimate venue. Saw grandson tonight, who put on one hell of a show along with k. Flay and our own local de'wayne! My only complaint was the bass was a little heavy for the venue, in my opinion. I'm not sure if that's a sound check issue for the tour or the venue itself. But the bathrooms were clean, the staff courteous and friendly and it's definitely a place I'd go to again.

It is a good venue for watching gigs and stuff. It is good to watch local and famous bands up close.

Bad experience last night !!! The band was good. . But the staff and management was very poor!!! Management were paying staff to make the older people move from the stair way!!! They just wanted to sit down!!!!! We will never go there again!!!!! If it’s going to be expensive, then they shouldn’t be rude or bulling the people. I saw the bouncer being really ugly to girl and bulling others that were there!!! They don’t deserve any stars!!!!

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this venue. I’d say it’s mid sized. It was organized and lines moved quickly, merch was accessible the bar was accessible. I believe they are owned by the warehouse live team but I could be wrong. The acoustics for the opening act were trash and I feel bad because the music was great but I could barely understand the artist. Not sure if that’s the venue or his sound check team but regardless, next two acts were much better. Overall had a great night and would not think twice about coming here again, may even be back for some of the DJ nights they advertise. Only complaint I really had was how slooooow the valet parking went at the end of the night, you would think they could be much better staffed. It was almost a 45 minute wait to get our car back.

This is a huge venue with an exceptional sound system. They hosted Eden for Pride this year, and there was ample space for everyone to dance and huge fans to keep the air circulating. There is also an outdoor patio for people who smoke, but it is far enough that the smoke doesn't come into the building. I'm not sure how the vibes are on a regular night, but it is definitely worth a visit! There are a few flights of stairs you have to climb to get inside, so it's important to be mindful of that as well.

Great venue for concerts. The retractable roof was great with the nice weather. The sound was good and the drinks weren't too expensive

I've seen many concerts at this venue over the years. They put money back into the place and you can definitely tell. I look forward to many more good times here.

Wow!!!! What a cool venue!!! King's X!!!!! We waited many years for this concert since 2020. There were about 5 or 6 cancelations. The last time this concert was to happen, I believe was supposed to be at warehouse live? We were in line for Kings's X, and then we were informed Ty tested positive for Covid 10 minutes before doors opened November27, 2022.πŸ˜ͺ About 2 weeks ago, the make-up concert venue changed to Rise Rooftop for May 27th 2023!!! Yaaayyyy!!! It finally happened!!!! Rise Rooftop is a very cool moderately sized venue. It is very cool looking from inside. The stage was visible, the sound was good, and the concert was amazing!!! Valet was only $20!!!! I would go here again for a concert. Go n visit Rise Rooftop to add fun to the show you are going to see.

First time here was for a hardcore show (Stick to Your Guns & Comeback Kid). Security staff didn't seem to understand the type of show they were hosting and definitely killed the vibe. I'd go back for other types of music and reserve full judgment, but definitely did not feel like a friendly place to see heavier bands with an active crowd.

Saw the Dandy Warhols here, last night. It was a Thursday night, and parking was non-existent. I looked up a nearby surface parking lot, but when I tried to park, I was told that it was for Rise valet only. So, I drove around trying to find street parking. I finally, pulled into the front entrance of Rise, and saw some handicap parking, which was even better, because I have Parkinson's. So, I hung my handicap tag, and started to park there, but was quickly told, by the valet, that they had to park the car and it was going to be $22. So, I paid a guy $22 to get in my car and literally back it into a handicap space, that was 5 feet away. The venue is nice, inside, and is the perfect size for seeing a band, in my opinion. It's on the smaller size, so you are never going to see big name artists there, but smaller artists are more fun anyway. The sound was fantastic and lighting was impressive. The place was about half full for this show and the AC was definitely working. It was almost chilly in there. I deducted 1 star just because of the parking situation, but overall, I really like the venue.

Very spacious venue. Honestly House of Blues needs to give Rise some of their bookings because they have more space for the acts they book. Came to see the BIA concert and it wasn’t packed which was nice but there was more than enough space. The merch table was well placed and didn’t affect the flow of traffic. I would buy tickets for this venue again.

Pretty lame place to see a concert. First, no parking unless you do expensive valet. The valet couldn't find our keys on exit resulting in at least a 15-minute delay. Second, the entry door is right next to the stage and creates a huge bottleneck, very bad layout. It is very hard to get around in this venue. Third, sound is pretty bad in the space. Could of been the particular mix, but very muffled and hollow with no clarity on the vocals. Terrible for a live show, not to mention the sound area takes up a lot of premium stage viewing space. And lastly, I ordered a double bourbon on the rocks and almost fell over when the bartender asked for $28. What? I should of walked away as that is absolutely ridiculous. I will not go back and do not recommend this place to see a live show. Bad experience.

Took in a 3 band tribute late afternoon extravaganza and enjoyed the bands that played. The stage was good, and the sound was great. All was good till we found out that none of the cooling amenities were working! The place was hot.. mid to upper 80's inside. Had to ask why, and was told that coolers weren't working and the huge fans on ceiling were on timer to go on at night time. Waaaaat.. how about cranking those huge fans on now!! There were a few portable fans placed around, but that just moved the hot-air around. Not fun with a sweat wet t shirt. Anyway, sure would've been better under cooler circumstances.

Went to an all ages show to see Avatar on a Tuesday night. Parking was easy for us but we used a nearby garage. The doors opened on time and we got in surprisingly fast. I was worried venue was going to be hot but it was nice and cool even though it was packed. I only ordered water but the bartenders were so nice. The security by stage was very nice. Restrooms were clean. We were able to get close and had a great view! We took kids with us and one did have special needs and we had no problems. Would definitely come back !

One of my favorite concert venues in Houston. Sound is always good although the house music between acts could be a little less loud but it's cool. VIP section in the front is always great for some of my favorite artists. I've always found street parking but they do have valet as an option. Security is always smooth and staff has always been cool too. Easy scanning your tickets for entry.

It's our first time to attend a concert at this venue. While lining up for security check, one of the guard did not allow us to take our handy point and shoot camera. So we ended up taking back our camera all the way to where we park our car or else they will not admit us to watch the concert. The place looks small but surprisingly it can accommodate a lot of people inside. They have a spot designated for people who has disability which I find very helpful. There's food and drinks and good music from the performing band artist.

Came here for Green for A day and it was super fun! Despite having to pay 100 dollars for sitting it was a really fun experience. I had to leave early for personal reasons but the last band I was able to see was True Stories, they were amazing and full of energy. I hope I get to see them again!
