The pour-over was great, I judge by black coffee., but my friend's iced mocha was decadent rich with oat milk . I came in during soft opening, the service was friendly and good. Good ambiance nice patio to enjoy your coffee. They not only sell CBD products, but are versed in CBD. Then car park is adjacent to the cottage and large. This is a top choice in an area. Which is chuffed with good choices

Vibe- This is a fairly new coffee shop near the heights area. It’s an entire vibe. There’s the actual shop where you can get coffee and other drinks then at the back there’s an area where you can buy CBD products and it is smoke friendly outside with plenty of TVs and couches to sit on and chill! Customer service- Amazing! The barista that helped me was super sweet. Food/drinks- I got a hot strawberry matcha latte with oatmilk and vanilla, it was yummy. Parking- They have an entire lot full of spaces to park.

Oatmilk Vanilla iced latte was delicious. Didn't try any of the pastries unfortunately but it was a really cool looking place with both a front and back yard with plenty of seating. Parking is in the lot next to them and has plenty of parking. Backyard looks pretty cool and will hopefully come back and enjoy that for longer sometime. Friendly employee.

As a neighbor, extremely unhappy with the disrespectfully loud music late into the night. Also frustrating that a place that billed itself as a coffee shop when initially purchasing the space has now rebranded as a bar. The one time I visited, found it to be overpriced and nothing exceptional

Great new addition to the Heights. Creative euro-style coffee shop! Newly opened Mike and his team have the potential to do something extra special for Houston. Friendly, clean, good vibe place to grab a good coffee or CBD! 10/10 recommend

Take this as you will. The place is no longer a coffee shop. It started as a coffee shop and failed. It is now a Thurs to Sun evening bar under the same ownership. I wish them well. But any reviews for the previous coffee shop should be removed, and these guys should start over, just the same as if they had opened a tea shop, small engine repair, lingerie boutique, or CBD dispensary. Google needs a better way to address these situations.

I LOVE the vibe of this shop! The layout is completely unlike any other show you'll experience in Houston. The owner and baristas are very cool and welcoming! Oh yeah, and they make a dope Lavendar Latte (Oak milk of course). I highly recommend trying out some of their CBD syrup with your beverage too. Its definitely a unique experience with the upper from drinking the coffee and the downer from the CBD but it makes for a very cool experience. This is definitely going to be the beginning of next generation coffee experiences.

Love this coffee shop and the ambiance of it all. Their coffee selection is excellent and I highly recommend the Johnny Cash if you’re looking for that quick pick me up. Can’t wait to go back. Plenty of parking space and outdoor seating.

This is the cutest coffee shop and in a great location! The way they have re-done the back area is so nice and open! They offer so much more than just coffee which is a big plus! The staff are very friendly and helpful if you aren't sure what to order. Will definitely visit as much as I can!!

High quality coffee and beautiful space to work quietly or gather with friends in the courtyard or back patio. I love their iced lattes! Glad they're in the neighborhood and will definitely be back.

I love this place and every time I come it keeps on growing seems like the owners know what they're doing nice little secret spot that soon will be flooded with people. I'm glad I got the opportunity to enjoy their backyard and the delicious coffee that they serve.

The bar, previously a coffee shop, surprised me with its steep prices, especially for simple drinks like a shot of vodka and club soda. To make matters worse, they automatically added an 18% to 20% tip to the bill. While the ambiance was enjoyable, the basic service, high drink prices and mandatory gratuity policy overshadowed the experience. Paying over $12 for a basic drink felt excessive, and the forced gratuity left me feeling coerced rather than giving based on the level of service received. If you're willing to overlook the inflated prices and mandatory tipping, Amsterdam Cocktails offers a fun ambiance. However, for those seeking more affordable options or the freedom to decide their own tips, it might be best to explore other bars in the area.

At night this place turns into a bar / club. It is one of the coolest scenes in 19th / 20th street right now. The clientele is young, the music is hot, and the bartenders are dressed to impress. Do not expect fancy cocktails, instead grab a simple drink, go to the backyard, smoke a hookah and chill. One of the owners told me they just got a liquor license and he is there to make sure you are having a good experience.

I have lived down the street from you guys for quite some time before you ever opened. It used to be a quiet street. Since you guys have changed branding to a cocktail bar, I now experience sleepless nights due to the long lasting music. I now have a small child who is frequently awakened by the noise. I understand you have a business to run and money to make. All I am asking is a sincere request to tone it down at a reasonable hour so that my family can be well rested for our long hour days.

THE HIDDEN BACKYARD IS AMAZING. Just loved the friendly cozy atmosphere for watching the Astros- the backyard is great and super clean. Everything we ordered was better than expected and delicious

This place is a mediocre coffee shop at best during the day. The one time I ordered coffee and tea, they mixed up all three of our drinks so everyone was drinking someone else’s until it was sorted out. The Dutch coffee had melted butter all on the lid which was messy and unappealing. The bigger problem is on nights and weekends they blast very loud music, disturbing neighbors that the building is very close to until late/early morning hours when they are supposedly closed. They will not take calls and clearly do not care to respect any surrounding property owners. This is an awful business.

Met the owner he was great! I got raspberry chocolate latte which taste like ice cream. It was to sweet for me and right away he took it away and made me a new one less sweet and was super nice about it too!

This is a cute coffee shop, I like the open concept, quiet and has a back patio and seating. I had the strawberry matcha which was tasty. Didn’t have too many food options but staff said they were working on it. Definitely coming back and will check those food options out.

I enjoy Amsterdam Coffee for a change of pace. It’s not my one and only, but I’ve always had great experiences there. The coffee is really good, and the CBD chocolates and infusions are a unique touch. The friendly staff, large outdoor seating areas, and cool interior are all added bonuses.
