Been following them on instagram for a while so when I finally was in town, I hit them up with friends and it did not disappoint. Loved everything!! The pasta was phenomenal. Such a cute space. The fried chicken was great as was the pumpkin dish

Blown away by the quality and execution of the food (breakfast, lunch & dinner menu items) pastries and drinks at Cafe Louie. The interior is brightly lit with modern decor and ample seating. It is obvious while watching through the open kitchen that the staff not only cultivate a great work environment but the attention to detail put into every dish is impressive. I will continue to visit, recommend it to others and hope you do too! 🥐 ☕️

This place was alright. Parking is minimal. The lot is tiny, however there is a decent amount of street space for parking. Hopefully the neighbors aren't too annoyed by it. I went for dinner on a Monday when they give a 20% food discount. The music was on the loud side. The furniture came across as cheap. Think it was my first time eating at an Italian restaurant with no tablecloth. The server was nice. The calamari was delicious. I like that they included a few whole pieces. The pasta was alright. Noodles were made from scratch and delicious ,but we were told it was going to be spicy and the sauce wasn't spicy at all so that was a bit disappointing. If I go back, I'd give the redfish a pass. It was mediocre. I enjoyed the roasted beets. The combination of flavors was really nice. The tiramisu was fantastic.

OMG! This restaurant is not just amazing, it’s a true culinary experience. I had heard it was a great restaurant but, honestly, I was just so surprised by the food. You can see the chef make the pasta by hand, their chicken is unreal. I have done several culinary tours in many cities around the world and I am just so glad to have found this hidden jewel here in Houston. Once you come one time, I get you’ll keep coming back. New favorite for sure.

Unique atmosphere with plenty of comfortable seating. Coffee quality is great. Staff was nice, ordered food and it came out within 10 minutes of ordering. This building is connected to a dozen other businesses so the bathrooms are shared between all businesses and is kept fairly clean. Ordered the Breakfast Piadina, was good but is enough for 2 people. Will be returning with friends.

This place is legit!! Came in around noon, there was no line but there were plenty of patrons enjoying the awesome vibe. We were greeted by very friendly staff. I ordered the Golden Oat Milk Latte and it is one of the best I've had. The pastries.... AMAZING!!! I ordered the following to go (pictured clockwise) Strawberry Scone, Pine Nut Coffee Cake (yes, half eaten lol), Strawberry Kolache, and Butter Croissant. My favorite was the scone because it was not dry like other scones I've had -- thank you to the friendly staff for suggesting this last minute because I wanted one more pastry. Hubby's favorite was the coffee cake. But like I said, they are all amazing and we can't wait to come back to try the rest along with their breakfast, lunch, and soon to be dinner offerings. I also really like that there's Little Red Box Grocery next door, a neighborhood market offering fresh foods, meal kits, and grocery staples. Something much needed for the area as it lacks ready access to healthy and affordable food. Win, win!

This was such a solid choice for Italian food. On the outskirts of 2nd ward/ Eado is this new restaurant. Vibes are like a trendy version of an Italian american cafe with indoor windows to see the chefs. I loved that the place was not too loud and you could have a conversation with your table. The pasta here is homemade and rigatoni was splendid. Cocktails were well made. The waiter was absolutely wonderful and very attentive.

Best Italian restaurant in Houston. Yep, you heard me. Believe me, just go! Chef Angelo and crew are serving up incredible dishes with creative specials daily. The atmosphere and service are on point. Great date spot for wine & cocktails too. Try Louie's Martini or the Frozen Negroni and order those meatballs🍝🍸🍷

My wife and I have been here twice now and its a beautiful place but they are still working out all the kinks. Both times our coffee orders came out wrong and didn't come out till after our food did. Wife ordered the Egg on a roll and I ordered the Mclouie, both were decent but think we'll just get pastries from now on.

My friends and I came for brunch today and I must say I was quite impressed with the food. Really tasty everything we got was really good I got the tumeric spritzer my friends gots the ice lattes. Everything was super delicious will come back to try other food item on the menu. However it is a bit on the pricy side. For a cafe I didn’t expect to spend $80 for 3 ppl. One think I did want to mention for more sanitary reason I wish their pastry items weren’t just sitting on the counter where every customer literally passes by it with out a barrier.

First time there. Recommended by a friend. We really liked it. The staff / service is very nice and professional. We loved the food and will be back We share the arancini appetizer . I had the Tahitian Marsala pasta. My husband had the chicken parmigiana and we had the broccolini side . All were excellent

Was searching for new coffee shops and came upon this cafe in East End. I didn't try any of the food on this occasion - just a drip coffee (Guatemalan and Costa Rican beans from local Houston roaster, Amaya) while I did some writing and work on the laptop. It has a pleasant, bright interior with a good amount of seating for the space that it's in. The staff was super friendly, and the coffee was great. The only drawback is the lack of electrical outlets, of which there are almost none, which makes it less than ideal for doing work. Other than that, great spot which I plan on returning to.

My partner and I returned for dinner after having a fabulous breakfast here. We were so blown away by the quality of food and the friendly, attentive service. Chicken liver mousse was perfectly rich and balanced, and the cheesecake was the best we've ever eaten. Exceptional dining experience from beginning to end. You can really tell chef cares about creating a culinary experience for the guests. Thank you!! Can't wait to return

Great place for breakfast or lunch, affordable menu and different options for every taste. The servers are all great and the food is awesome. I tryed the abocado toast with a poached egg and it was great... make sure you try some of their pastries and coffee.
