My
spouse
and
I
have
been
pretty
disappointed
in
the
YMCA
for
multiple
reasons
after
joining
a
few
weeks
ago.
We
failed
to
notice
during
our
tour
but
quickly
realized
during
our
first
workout
that
there
is
only
one
leg
extension
machine
and
only
one
sitting
leg
curl
machine.
There
should
definitely
be
at
least
two
of
each,
as
this
has
been
the
case
at
every
other
gym
we’ve
been
to
in
the
country
and
even
internationally.
It
seems
we
always
have
to
wait
to
use
them
and
then
feel
rushed
to
be
done
quickly
so
others
can
use
them,
yet
there
are
always
several
treadmills
available.
Less
treadmills
and
more
of
these
machines
is
a
need
here.
We
brought
our
child
a
handful
of
times
to
the
childcare
center
and
couldn’t
actually
work
out
because
of
difficulty
adjusting
as
a
very
young
child.
Every
five
minutes
we’d
be
texted
to
come
tend.
This
is
understandable
if
the
child
won’t
stop
crying
but
it’s
very
frustrating
that
we’re
not
given
any
kind
of
access
to
the
actual
inside
of
the
childcare
area
in
order
to
help
our
child
adjust
better.
I
suggested
allowing
us
to
carry
the
child
to
their
area
and
stay
to
play
a
few
minutes
then
gradually
move
away
so
they
could
see
that
it
was
safe
and
fun
and
okay,
but
parents
aren’t
allowed
to
enter
at
all.
Who
knows
if
our
child
will
ever
adjust
if
they’re
being
pulled
out
every
five
minutes
and
not
allowed
to
use
other
methods
to
try
and
help
them
feel
more
comfortable.
The
workers
there
are
kind
and
patient
with
the
kids
and
I
don’t
fault
them
for
the
gym’s
policies.
Unfortunately
we’ve
had
to
stop
bringing
our
child
lately
because
it’s
a
waste
of
time
and
money
with
us
always
leaving
after
just
half
an
hour
of
constant
interruptions
to
go
tend
to
the
child.
Most
of
the
members
here
are
respectful
and
there
to
actually
work
out
but
there’s
almost
always
a
handful
of
younger
men
(16-22
years
old)
who
are
loud
and
disrespectful.
They
throw
down
their
dumbbells
and
barbells
like
they’re
in
a
disturbance
competition
(paired
with
overly
exaggerated
grunting)
and
it
can
be
heard
even
with
loud
music
blasting
in
your
ears.
Which
is
funny
since
they’re
not
even
particularly
heavy
weights
but
it
seems
they
want
attention
to
seem
big
&
bad
&
strong.
There’s
horseplay,
very
loudly
goofing
off,
cussing,
sometimes
even
playing
with
basketballs
in
the
middle
of
the
main
workout
areas.
Lots
of
showing
off
for
their
little
friends.
All
gyms
I
know
of
have
rules
against
this
kind
of
behavior
but
most
of
the
employees
I’ve
seen
in
the
evenings
when
this
happens
are
within
the
same
age
range
and
seem
to
be
friends
with
these
immature
kids.
They’re
always
on
their
phones
and
move
around
very
casually-
they’re
just
not
very
professional
in
our
opinion.
Maybe
the
Y
doesn’t
have
a
rule
against
all
this
stuff
but
I’d
find
that
very
odd
with
this
being
a
family
oriented
gym.
Last
night
was
the
last
straw
for
us.
Upon
entering
the
back
weight
area
to
lock
up
some
things,
we
saw
and
heard
some
of
the
young
boys
and
their
disrespectful
behavior,
throwing
down
heavy
weights
and
the
usual
stuff,
with
the
nearest
staff
member
just
worried
about
his
phone,
and
decided
to
go
off
to
a
different
area
to
work
out
to
be
away
from
all
that.
It
was
much
better
in
the
other
area
we
went
to
until
towards
the
end
when
one
of
the
more
memorable
boys
entered
to
workout.
Luckily
we
were
almost
done
so
we
didn’t
have
to
hear
his
unnecessary
weight
slamming
for
too
long.
Out
of
nowhere
a
FIGHT
broke
out
near
the
workout
area
entrance
between
a
handful
of
young
men
in
the
same
age
range
I
mentioned.
Lots
of
yelling,
cussing,
and
physical
aggression
&
the
young
floor
employees
not
being
very
effective.
We
heard
another
woman
say
this
is
the
second
time
recently
for
a
fight
to
break
out.
How
embarrassing!
Of
course
the
young
men
in
the
work
out
area
found
the
whole
thing
amusing.
Nothing
is
being
done
about
the
small
portion
of
riff-raff
and
it’s
ruining
the
experience
of
the
respectful
majority.
There
were
children
there
when
this
happened.
What
a
shame.
We
are
finding
a
new
gym
ASAP.
