Been taking my money for almost a year, I never go to that gym, i moved but they wanted me to go to the location and cancel the membership there. I say okay, I drive 1.5 hours to get there, they tried to make me stay, I finally get to cancel it. BUT surprise they charged mee again. DON’T GO THERE you can see other reviews, they all nice when enrolling but when you wanna cancel is all a big deal. Species gym, iron city gym, fitness 24, even planet fitness is a better option. 3 years after this review I still get messages from this gym, you block the number and then you get it from a different one lol

Fraudulent company. Do not enroll at this gym because even though you cancel your service they will start charging you again even on a different credit card. I had to call in the bank and post a block on Fitness 19. If you have enrollment there please be careful with the owner of this gym. Billing fraud beware. Three months after canceling they charge arbitrary charges plus they find a new credit card and change again altering any detail to get charges. They are not to be trusted with your information. Update in response to reply: Moved out of the area and called several times to explain. Currently, I am in Guatemala. Fitness 19 IS a fraudulent company that wants to explain away stealing money using technicalities. This company searches out and finds ex-members who have not technically and physically come in to cancel their membership, even when it is impossible to do so.

I used to go to this gym years ago. I was looking for new gyms and was considering fitness19, but after reading their response to the reviews I will not be signing up with them. The customers have actual issues and instead of helping you guys are basically blaming the customer. If you provide a service you will be judged by customers on how you handle business matters. The teams responses are very unprofessional and sound rude to the customers who are facing issues with management. Good luck 🙌🏻

Do not recommend. The manager here will not cancel your membership after asking for months instead he will continue to charge your account. He will also harass you daily for payment, has even offered for me to pay him a dollar to "remove" me again after cancelling the membership MONTHS ago ! is threatening to send me to collections. Has everyone of his employees reaching out. This guy will hunt you down for a dollar that you don't owe.

Horrible place to work out. This place is a money trap and they charge your card without your permission even after your membership is canceled. Manager is rude and doesn't want to resolve the issue. Absolutely stay away from this place

Gym is dirty. Trainers are unprofessional and they don’t let you cancel without jumping through hoops. I’ve been trying to cancel for a year and the first time they didn’t let me and I said fine. But after going back and still not getting the expectation of a clean gym I don’t want to go back and when I call they tell me I have to go in to fill Out a form. If I’m telling you to stop drafting from my account, then you don’t have the authorization to do so. And from what I’ve heard even when you do cancel you still get charged for other fees. I’m going to call my bank account to make sure no payment that they try to charge go through. This is horrible

OVER $150 in Fees When I Cancelled Read the fine print. They won’t explain the policy. When you complain, Daniel won’t honor you by explaining at the front desk how they overcharge. Honestly, I have no complaints about the gym experience. It’s a basic gym. My disappointment comes from being told to come inside to cancel, and not being explained that for two months I would be charged almost a $150 in fees. My disappointment also comes from being told to cancel before the yearly dues, which I did and THE YEARLY DUES WERE CHARGED ANYWAY. When I showed up to complain, Daniel wanted to usher me to the back. Nope. Dignify me up front. He just waved his hand and walked away. READ THE OTHER REVIEWS. He gives a lamé response in the comments. I blame myself for assuming excellence in customer service from a low rate gym. I definitely got what I paid for - it’s cheap for a reason.

Very small gym but also incredibly affordable. I haven't had any issues with availability of the treadmill or various elliptical or stair climber machines when Ive been going (around 5p). I've been focusing heavily on cardio workouts so can't really comment on the weights section. Staff doesn't hassle or bother me at all, I just sign in and go workout. No hard sell on individual workouts, no upsell nonsense, etc. Would like to see a little more cleaning of the machines after use. But it's not a major problem but rarely see staff cleaning the machines (the people who used the machine could really help out here also!). We paid cash for our annual memberships so no issues with overcharging or credit card charges or access to bank accounts which was VERY nice. I recommend this approach. Not super busy on mid morning on the weekends.

I didn't even want to give a one star rating. The manager tells you lies. When asked to speak to him he doesn't even take the call. No one shows you how the machines work poor costumer services. DO NOT EVEN TRY IT!! NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!

Great place to workout. It's very clean. Has plenty of equipment to use. I like that I can always get on the equipment I need with little or no waiting.

Do not trust this,people they will over charge your credit card with multiple charges,,and they. Won't do anything to resolve the problem..if you cancel be sure replaced your card.

Worst cancellation process, overcharge after canceling, lost paper track, blames on customer.

An exceptional gym with very supportive staff and welcoming community. What started as a journey for fitness turned into a home away from home. Couldn’t recommend this spot any more to anyone interested in bettering themselves.

I have been a member of this gym for years. I have had to cancel my membership a time or two back when I wouldn’t go as often and thought it was a waste of a bill but have never had to go through a hard time cancelling my membership. You do have to visit the facility to cancel but that’s no big deal. Almost every time I’m there, someone is cleaning the machines. I haven’t seen any “out of order” signs on any machines lately so if there ever is any, it’s not for a long period of time I’m sure. Everyone I see go there is doing exactly what I’m there to do, work out. I’m not there to pass judgement on anyone or the facility. After all it is a gym and for the price, you can’t complain much. If it’s not suitable to your liking then shop around. In the end, no matter what machine you work out on, clean or dirty, your not going to get any results if your standing around judging and complaining……💪🏼. To each their own.

Came here for the first time and the gym is very clean when you first step in. The vibe is pretty solid and the space is small but does not seem crowded. They have all the equipment you need for a good workout as well. Christian the membership associate was very helpful and ready to answer any questions I needed. They were also very transparent about the joining fees, monthly dues, and annual fee.

I've been going here almost 5 years and love it. Lots of equipment to do all your resistance or cardio training. The staff is awesome, Daniel the General Manager is always there and available. The owner is sometimes there working out and talking with members. Very well run gym.

This place has a decent gym for price. The actual machines and lifting stations are fine for what they are, and there's a good amount of variation for exercises. It does not however have the best customer support, and can be a money drain if you are not careful. My account is supposed to be frozen until december of this year, and I just got charged for november. Also in order to freeze or cancel your acount, you have to physically go in to sign a form. Even then, they require like a 30 day notice before they actually freeze or cancel the account, which makes no sense. Know what you are paying for, and MAKE SURE YOU OBTAIN A COPY OF ANY CONTRACT YOU SIGN FOR YOUR USAGE! Probably going to cancel when I go back.

Its amazing how businesses lose customer over there arrogance and laziness. This gym was good from what I saw but i could not take a look around cz staff not available for tour over weekends such a shame. Easiest way to lose revenue.

Been going here for over a year now. Early mornings for me. Victor is amazing, as well as the kiddos who work on weekends. Can not complain at all about what you get, well worth the price! Very receptive staff

Daniel the owner is funny ! Don’t get discourage when you see the “2.0” star Google rate . I did but I went over there to get me a personal trainer once I walked in the staff was friendly and energetic ! Sat down with Daniel to discuss my goals & nutrition . He’s the type of guy that cares & doesn’t like to waste time on people which there’s nothing wrong with that!!! He’s straight forward and funny . There’s also raffles where you can win stuff, TVs , get a year free at the gym , etc etc . Membership is only $10. Give this place a chance! Y’all won’t regret it . Also if you are looking for a personal trainer contact the owner ! He’s serious about getting you on the right track and hitting your goals , I also told him he needs to step it up with them Google reviews ;) LOL

Excellent place, very calm and pleasant atmosphere. The equipment is in very good condition.
