    I swear to God I’ll never shop in the store again no matter how good their sales are. I went in today expecting to spend $10-$15,000 on windows. I walked up to the Millworks desk where there was a guy working on the computer and stood there for all of five minutes before he even acknowledged me. When he did acknowledge me, he said do you need something from this desk? I said yes I’d like to buy some windows please and he said while I’m busy let me call somebody else. He paged Mike four times. Mike never showed up. After a good 15 minutes I just left and I’m on my way to true value on Louetta where they appreciate customers. I don’t care that I have to spend a little more to get a splash of customer service. This happened to me last time I went to my windows for another house and I ended up going to Home Depot to buy them. If you’re looking to be talked down to and feel completely unimportant, this is the place for you.

    I really like this Lowe's on the Tomball Parkway at the Cypresswood Drive exit. The parking lot is large with easy access. Merchandise presentation is good with very few out of stocks. The Garden Center is my favorite department. Store associates are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I was in the store on a busy Saturday afternoon and the checkout process was fast unlike some other stores.

    Like everything EXCEPT for the fact it is ALL self check-out. If I can pick out all my items, the least courtesy these/all stores can do is have one or two checkers, it's not like they are going broke AND getting help/advice on finding what i need would be nice. I think I will start doing business at one of the cool ACE HARDWARE stores nearby where you can also get someone to help you find what you are looking for!!!

    There’s a worker by the name of Sebastian who was a GREAT help. My wife and I came in looking to do a DIY with a lot of wood and he was so patient and kind. He went above and beyond assisting us with picking out the appropriate lumber and also cutting each one to fit our measurements. Really can’t thank him enough for his extraordinary customer service and support. Definitely needed to be shouted out!

    I wouldn’t get anything here again. We ordered fridge and washer dryer here and it’s been THREE months since the supposed delivery date. Every time we call on the day of delivery, they say “oh sorry won’t get delivered today.” No sense of courtesy to at least let us know ahead of time. You just wait all day, every time. The employees don’t even seem to care because “oh it’s the distributer’s fault,” but the thing is, people in other lowes locations don’t experience this. I got to lowes and someone else was having the same issue, and if you see the newest review another woman is having the same issue. If so many customers are having the same problem, you’d think they’d at least alert the customers ahead of time. But nope TLDR - go anywhere but here

    Staffing at this location was a little sparse, but so was customer traffic at the time (around 7pm Friday). What staff I did find was great. Thanks to Mr Jemel for the customer friendly atmosphere and to Trystan at the self checkout for recommending Lowe's protection plan on my purchase. I didn't know about this offer before. Much appreciated!

    I went to the store on Spring and they told the the garage door insulation that I needed was out. They looked up this store and saw 7 available. Before I drove there, I called customer service and they told me they have 5 in stock. I drove 22 to get there and they had zero on the shelf. A manager came in and checked their inventory and saw 5 in stock at this store. He looked everywhere and he couldn't find them.. I wish the lady that I talked to on the phone had checked the inventory physically instead of checking on the computer.. that could have saved me 40 minutes of driving. I barely leave 1 Star review but Lowe's definitely deserved this one.

    Update: June 18, 2022 Lowe's still having good customer service. Didn't have my Lowe's credit card, but they looked up my info and ching-ching another charge. Update: June 8, 2022 Same good service... Needed a new outdoor hose faucet. And a couple of connectors for the sprinkler system. Used self-check out. In and out in ,6 minutes. Thanks Lowe's Home Improvement on FM 249!!!

    Edit 5/2022: Long queue and waiting time at the counter on weekend. The Lowes payment system seem slows down very often and keeps customer(s) waiting at the counter. Lowes need to hire pleasant and efficient people at this location. Past Review -2021 Customer Service at this location is great. Mr. Tomas was very pleasant and helpful! Things are easy to locate and sufficiently stocked for the season.

    I been a loyal customer at the 249 Lowes for the last 2 1/2 years and I come in at least 2-3xs a week to get things for my home projects/repairs . The employees have always been helpful and the customer service has always been great. As of lately , things seem a bit different. A lot of new faces all the sudden there has been 2 instances where an item rings up higher than whats on the price label and cashier argues with me about how she can’t change the price and the price that it’s ringing up for is what it costs . It was a clearance lattice divider, tag price was 20 cents cheaper and got a picture of price label and all the dividers in that spot. Manager got difficult with me over 20 cents. Both times, 2 separate occasions . I disputed because Lowes always honored it and a picture don’t lie, they finally changed the price but not until after they refused. Well, 2 days ago, I was buying garden stuff and I forgot to get hedge sheers , I went for the cheapest one ran back to cashier cuz she was ringing up items and tell me they cost 32$ when the label had $22. Ran back got a picture of label and the box underneath that had many of the same sheers I had grabbed. Cashier said she could honor it but has to get manager , manager lady said she couldn’t change price because it cost 32$ and it’s a mistake . She walked off. Then manager Paul came and also wouldn’t honor it . Paul, in the past has delivered a good customer relationship with me but I’m sure manager lady had already informed him about the situation . I left the sheers and payed but meant to put it on lowes credit card and asked Paul is it to late to undo transaction and he said he can do it . Well, all sudden Paul says I didn’t get charged for all the items and I replied “ your cashier scanned not me “ now I’m super pissed cuz I’m having to pay more and you’re treating me like I’m stealing. You wouldn’t honor the price which is totally not cool and not like the lowes I know. And now ya sound greedy trying to charge me $5 for pea gravel your cashier didn’t scan . It left a bad taste in my mouth and got bad customer service . I feel like Lowes is turning into a greedy business and that $1000 i spend there every month , ya wont be getting any more of it . I will be taking my business elsewhere because the last three times I’ve stepped into that store y’all have been difficult and customer service has gone out the door.

    Lowes must not need the business because I called three times to ask a question about an item and couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone. I finally was able to speak to an operator who tried to answer my question but could not so she made sure someone was in the department before switching me over. A man did pick up but immediately put me on hold. After waiting another 20 minutes, I hung up and called back and a woman answered the phone. She wanted to put me on hold too so I said no thanks. They obviously don’t need the business. The answer below that I received from the “owner” sounds like if I call the 877 phone number, I will be able to speak to a person but it’s the same recording that’s on the store phone. I made my purchase at Best Buy Willowbrook and received excellent service without all the frustrations. They treat their customers with respect.

    Quantez in flooring is amazing and provided excellent customer service. He addressed our hundreds of questions and worked with us with the right materials that would fit our budget. He talked us through the process and ensured everything came on schedule. I appreciate his patience as it was a lot of customers that required his attention but he helped everyone.

    My favorite hardware/lumber store in the world, even though it's gotten harder and harder to find someone to take care of you. Last time there were three employees standing in a circle chatting and if you wanted help you had to interrupt them. But I still love the layout, the prices, and the products they carry.

    I went to the paint department and explained to the paint employee that I was repainting a bathroom cabinet. I thought I would need oil-based paint to cover. He directed me to the Valspar Cabinet & Furniture Oil-Enriched Enamel. Stated it was the best for coverage. A little pricey at about $65.00 a gallon, but he said it was the best. The coverage is terrible. It looks like I'm painting my cabinets with Tempera paints. It's not sticking, or covering anything. What a waste of money and time. I think I will try to return it tomorrow.

    I’m a veteran, I appreciate the parking and discounts. My husband and I are doing a complete renovation of the primary bathroom. The most difficult part of the renovation was getting my order delivered and communication on where my orders were. I’m giving 3 stars trying to be fair to the individuals that tried to assist me. The employees were not able to help me. Very frustrating and disappointing.

    Went with my husband to exchange some tools that are no longer funtional due to wear (the tools have a lifetime warranty). Instead of simply explaining location policy the night supervisor/manager , or whatever she is, over the customer service desk had a whole attitude and actually INSULTED my husband. She said that the wear on the tools was due to his own negligence and misuse , that they are still funtional. Ma'am he is a master mechanic/welder of 20+ yrs he knows how to use his equipment . Additonally , wear on tools makes them function improperly (or non-funtional) as they do not properly grab the bolts and what not like intended. Me being me explained this and called her out on insulting him and she actually proceeded to argue with me in front of other customers and coworkers. We will not be buying anything else from this location . Sad because we have shopped here for 7yrs just never needed to exchange anything.

    My husband and I went to purchase mulch on Friday @5:30 pm. The garden center was already locked up and closed. A young employee named Carlos came to help us and he was AMAZING! Such a great kid! Hard worker, loaded all the mulch for us, rolled it all the way down across the inside of the store (not sure why garden center was closed so early)! The loaded onto our truck. He’s great, polite, hard employee and we appreciate that!

    I went here to purchase soil, mulch, plants, and bricks to design my garden area. There was a huge selection of all items available in stock. The staff was courteous and checking out was a breeze.

    They totally lost me as a client, no way I’m coming back to this store! They charged me twice for the same order of $140 and adviced to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Later when I disputed the charge they fought back stating that I made two purchases for the same exact amount of money. My credit card company refused to dispute the charge and I’m being dealing with Lowe’s all day today and it seems that I just lost those money because nobody can help me, they keep transferring me from one person to another, 4 hours, no resolution.

    This store seems to always have inventory when needed. The reason I could not give 5 stars? Check out. They went to pretty much self check out now, and though they have 6 to 8 self check out registers, they only open 3 to 4 . The line will get long, and there always seems to be plenty of employees walking around .

    Excellent customer service here!!! After being sent away from the Lowe's off 610 (1521 N. Loop W.) I came to return a fridge at this location there was no questions asked!! Seth was amazing and gave me my refund and was very helpful!! I will definitely be doing business at this location!!!

    This place sells very beautiful flowers and many varieties. At the beginning of the planting season, the land for planting trees is decreasing in price. I also enjoy going shopping for the plants. ❤❤❤

    Lowe’s new 48 hour return policy is a complete joke. We had to escalate things to simply make an un-opened return that was purchased 2 weeks ago. We had a pretty good experience with Mike today. He was extremely helpful and helped us lie our new vanity to the truck.

    We drive an extra 15 minutes out of our way to come to this Lowe's instead of the home Depot across the street for the last 4 years. We do this because of the amazing customer service!! We love the clearance section of the half dead plants!! Love bringing those plants back to life. Today we had Ms. Andrea with the bright pink hair check us out in returns. The front area was crowded so she offered to check us out quicker. We were very happy about that. As the process began and she started scanning our plants she quickly cut off my boyfriend who was talking about the plants being half off by saying, " I can't discount any plants not marked in red". She repeated herself not allowing my boyfriend to finish his sentence. The plant was half dead and he was about to finish saying he got the plant off the discount rack with the 3 others that were exactly similar and dead looking. Which were all marked red except for that one. Not only was there not any smiling from her, but a lack of care and rudeness in her tone. She made me and my boyfriend feel like we did something wrong when clearly we got it off the same rack as the others. She went on to talk with her coworker and help other individuals without a care in the world that she cut us off. We stood there quietly and patiently and she went on to tell her coworker, " I don't know why the system is asking for an authorization I am the boss." That comment surprised me. I also work in customer service as a staffing professional and hope Lowes offers training to individuals who need help with speaking to customers better. Especially if she is a boss as she says. I love the employees there and the young girls that check us out in gardening and at the register on self check out.

    Great stocked inventory and can almost always find what I'm looking for. The app is a lifesaver! Sometimes I don't want to pick up an online order because I want to pick out the items myself and trying to find them is always a maze in these huge big box stores. Oh don't order curbside! It takes ages to get the order. Just trek through the heat and go the pick up desk. It's much faster
