    We came with a large number of us and we are so thankful that Bob Evans didn't get upset with us for not making a reservation ahead of time. But, we didn't know we would have another opportunity for one more get together before my son and his beautiful wife would head back to Florida. We were also very blessed with the best waitress. She even took group pictures of us all after our meal. Thank-you Bob Evans!

    Bob Evans in Mt Vernon has never been a place we are impressed by. Service is slow. Food isn't the best after waiting a long time for it, and orders were wrong in one way or the other. We stood waiting to be seated for about 5 minutes and there was no one in line and the person that seated us saw us standing there and instead welcoming us avoided us until she was ready to seat us. Every time we go there is something off with this restaurant. We will probably not visit this location again.

    The server rarely checked in on us causing us to stay they for over an hour!!! and we were served ROTTEN broccoli!!!🤮 we didn't even get compensation for eating the rotten food😡 we felt sick the whole night afterwards🤢

    I took my mother here for Thanksgiving while we were dealing with a family illness and nobody felt like doing anything for the Holiday. The service and food were far beyond what we expected! Absolutely everything was on point from the greeting to the food to the checkout process. I was very grateful that they were open and tipped big, as should everyone who dines out on a holiday.

    I took Mom to lunch today, (93) She has to have assistance to walk, cannot walk on her own, the hostess took us to the far back corner of the restaurant, there were plenty of open tables in the front, I said something about her not being able to walk . the hostess just said sorry, and kept walking, the waitress took our order, a half hour later she stopped to see how things were, I told her the water was all we had, she said "oh" and walked away, we received the food after 45 min. The gravy has a skin on it from sitting under the heat lamp so long, the eggs were way overcooked and hard and barely warm, hash brown were cold, hardly any gravy on the country fried steak, thank God my Moms food was halfway decent, waitress didn't show up till we were done, no coffee warm ups or refills, no manager to talk to, just the same hostess, all she said is sorry, would not adjust the bill or offer any kind of concern. Worst Bob evans experience ever. Will not go back !!

    I ordered their loaded cheese fries (which you get charged extra for) and what I got was old French fries, shredded cheese thrown on top (not melted) and bacon bits on top of the cheese. Worse French fries ever. The broccoli had no taste, and the fried shrimp was flat and the cocktail sauce was thick and chunky. I don't have an issue so much with shrimp but the other two things were bad. Not the best service either. The waiter was stand-offish and just acted like he was anticipating a bad tip from my mom and I so he didn't really pay too much attention to our table. I might add I did not pay so I am not sure the amount of tip that was given. Preconceived notions about the amount of tip going to be given will lower the amount every time. Give the same service to every table or don't do the job at all. (I have prior knowledge being a former server)

    Always love Bob Evans! We had a large group and were seated in an area to ourselves. It was perfect because we had 4 young kids that could play around and not be in anyone way. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Very clean restaurant.

    Waited 45 minutes after we were seated and still never received our food. Told our waitress we were leaving. She did apologize and said it was because everyone was ordering online, and they couldn't keep up.
