I love the course but had to leave 5 holes early today because of slow players in front of us. A group behind us also left early it took 4-1/2 hours to play 13 holes. If you can't play 18 holes in 4.5 hours you shouldn't be golfing!

Great track and value for the money . I get that it is owned by the township and the more the merrier but they have a hidden gem here and so close to greatness and need to make tee times 10 minutes apart versus 8 minutes. Also have a Ranger encourage a 4 hour 15 minute pace of play . We played a slow 4:40 round

Good course. I’ve played here a couple times. Could be a little difficult for new golfers but its still fun and fairly scenic.

October 19 update. Last night my wife, daughter and son-in-law and I visited chemung Hills banquet hall for a cooking class with their chef. In the 2 1/2 hours with Chef Chad, we were able to create several culinary delights along with other additional parts of a main course meal. That was absolutely delicious.. I would made this extra special is that the prep time for dicing cutting the vegetables were already prepared for us. We would work on two of the four main parts of the meal, and be able to after each dining experience was prepared and sat in front of us by ourselves. We able to sit down and enjoy our accomplishment, Chad‘s directions were easy to follow. The skillet with his own gas source was heating sorts was unbelievable to use and we had a fantastic experience. I hope Chemung continues bringing these various meals for us to work with because it was a culinary experience. I will never forget it was fun savory, and we had great company.

My favorite track in Livingston county. Great value for the course. IMO, course is really well maintained and the course has a lot of natural beauty - deep in the woods, rivers, ponds, rolling hills. Definitely a bit challenging, but a fun challenging! Give this place a go - it may be your new favorite track!

Randomly made a tee time at this course. I played solo and ended up pairing with a member. Great insight and knowledge of course. What a beautiful course and a challenging back 9. Drive an hour to golf here and will return. Great round Pat! Fyi my tee time was 9:45am on a Friday

4-some in front of us wouldn’t let us go thru, empty tee sheet ahead of them. Pro shop said it’s “4some world” but was given a 9 hole voucher for the group touching our ball, throwing one on the green, and simply not knowing golf etiquette. Not a “4-some world” when it’s 8am on a weekday.

Played golf there for the first time today. Its a really nice course. Not easy and is challenging. Makes you think off the tee what to club to play. Fairways and greens are in good shape. I will be back for sure. Hidden gem.

Poor starter management on the 1st tee. We arrived before our tee time and when 10am came, my husband was getting ready to tee off. Out of nowhere, 2 guys come up the hill & told the starter that they were 10 min late for their tee time. Instead of telling them to just catch up with their group, he allowed them to tee off which them created a back up to the group behind us, and that group was not friendly at all. It was a bad start to the day with poor golf etiquette by late golfers and the course starter. We won't be back anytime soon.

Great course that was challenging for me as a hack, but i feel would be leisurely for a good golfer. Holes offered variety. Carts have personal ball and club washers. Which i really appreciated.

Beautiful course, fun to play, would definitely come again. Got really bottlenecked by the time we got to the back, though, and people were yelling and hitting into us even though we couldn't move forward.

I love this course period. It’s my favorite course in southeast Michigan. The layout is fantastic providing some pretty challenging shots but most of all very scenic views. The greens are undulating and at times very fast. Also one gets a feeling of deep history on this wonderful piece of land- knowing that it was a private club at one time and a visit from Walter Hagen. I wish this course very well and looking forward to playing it again. Thank you

8/31/2019 was the first time my wife and I played this course and it definitely won't be our last time! The staff was great, especially the starter, Gibby, who gave us some tips on playing the course and also kept things moving on both the front and back nines. We loved the condition of the course as well as all of the elevation changes. It's challenging as well as fun to play. We also had a great lunch in the restaurant after we played, too. One of our favorite golf courses in the Detroit metropolitan area. We will tell all of our golfing friends about Chemung Hills! We're going back - soon!
