Unprofessional behaviour by the manager of FC block shop. He doesn’t know how to talk with customers. This kind of people create a problem for the company. Please be cautious the management of Bancharam sweets. I don’t have any complain about the sweets. It’s really good

Must recommended place to justify with your sweet craving. Aam doi, blueberry doi and khir goja. You will also get authentic bengali breakfast cuisine luchi and cholar daal here.

Sweets are Good quality with affordable price. Staffs are polite. I tried their Baked sandesh from Bangla misti hub, tastes average, also they have lots of new style Bengali sweets which i love the most 👌.

Great place if you are a sweet lover like me. A variety of sweets and namkeens are available at their outlets. Especially the "rosogolla" is one of the finest I have ever had. I'm very sceptical about having "rosogolla" from any sweet shop, however, my experience at Banchharam's nailed it. I went to their Saltlake Outlook and it's a big outlet where one can have breakfast like daal-puri. Furthermore, "amriti", "langcha", "kaju katli" were also extraordinary. You will get a smell of ghee at their outlet and sweets which I believe is a key feature of Banchharam's sweets. It's a very hygienic place. They accept online transactions in terms of card or UPI payments. They also provide an invoice for the sweets bought.

A good place for a quick bite. Sweet shop serving snacks like luchi, dahi vada, dosa as well as a host of traditional bengali sweets. There are 5 tables capable of seating about 12 people with a couple of high chairs. Though price is a bit on the higher side, the food was great.

Bancharam have been a brand name since ages and has a decent spread or sweets, breakfast and snacks options. It works on self service mode and the place is clean and well maintained. Though it has a wash basin, there is no arrangement of toilet.

Great baked Rosogulla, Langcha, and some innovative sweet preparations like no other.. must try their jaggery talsash. I liked it and had quite a few of it. They also make decent snacks and meals.

I reached there @9:00 pm. The close timing says 9:30 pm. The shutter was half closed and they won't let me in even after i explained that I took Uber just to reach there and buy their sweets so that I can take it back home to Nagaland but the employee got angry and started yelling at me to move away from the building. Pathetic attitude. Is this how you treat those who are trying to buy from you?

Extremely good quality sweets. Better than ganguram I have to say. Baked rosogulla, sandesh, nolen gurer talsas are few notable ones .

You can get much delicious sweets from various sweet shops anywhere in Kolkata by spending half or one third of its cost. A very costly sweet shop in Salt Lake, 1 plate(4 pcs) Luchi - Cholar Dal costs Rs 50/. Quality of the food is good but not the service.

During my recent visit to this restaurant, I decided to indulge in their Masala Dosa, and it proved to be an exquisite delight. Not only was it reasonably priced, but the flavors were truly good. The service was swift and efficient, ensuring a seamless dining experience, while the inviting ambience added a touch of warmth to the atmosphere. To conclude my meal, I savored a delightful dessert that provided the perfect finale to an already delightful culinary journey. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the restaurant's dedication to offering a variety of pure vegetarian options. I left with a sense of contentment, confident in recommending this establishment to anyone in search of a delectable and vegetarian-friendly dining experience.

Worst place to visit. Reasons:1. Stale and dirtily cooked dishes. 2. Full of flies 3. Smoke from kitchen fills up the eatery making impossible to eat 4. Just once have a check how they transport the cooked items in their place, all uncovered and u will know. In fact all these mentioned is my real first hand experience.

There is a good selection of bengali and north indian sweets which are all quite fresh. They can also prepare fresh meals like dosas and kachoris however I didn't try them. We got sweets from here quite a few times and they were consistently good.

A place where traditional Bengali sweets meet innovation. Quality is superb and price is very reasonable. All the outlets provide same quality of food. Savoury items are also outstanding.

the ambience is very nice due to their warm white bright lighting. Again scrolling digital displays will show you some of their special items, always. Of course you have to keep in mind their salesman's ward. If they told you, to consume any item within today, means thats it. You may not in tomorrow, I think you have realised, why listening and asking is so important. Costs are slightly high in comparison to other Suburban sweet shop. In winter they makes patisapta of gure& narkel or suger and kheer, both priced 30/pcs. Other sweets are normally Rs.16/- to Rs. 40/-(talsansh). Prices are winter 2023. Very big sandesh like sankh of hindushtan sweets (jadabpur) is not available here. You can also get hot snacks here.

The guy receiving the phone is utterly rude. Ordered 2 rasgolla tins on zomato and called them to provide fresher ones. They told that all their tins contain same manufacturing date. That's fine. Since I already mentioned it (to provide fresh rasgolla) in special instructions in zomato, I texted it Zomato to get the special instruction confirmed (usually I do that while ordering food for guests). So, as usual, the Zomato assistant called the restaurant to convey it. Then, that guy (from the sweet shop) called me and was furious and told me why did I call Zomato customer service. Well, is there anything wrong for a customer in asking for fresh food and getting it confirmed once more? Let me know if you have the answer.

People need to know how frequently tastes of sweet are being changed. Also some delicious sweets should always be ready for bulk purchase. These sweets will be fresh even after 10 days of storage.

Not your typical diabetes supplier. Sweets were not too sweet, which is good. Boxed them up and flew them with me to Mumbai with the intent to share them with my neighbours. Ate most of them on the flight. Don't tell my neighbours.

It's a well recognised brand in Kolkata. The quality among the best. Try their pranohara, and soft traditional Bengali sweets, they melt your mouth.

Fantastic place for bengali sweets. They have a wide range of sweetmeats, both traditional and modern. Very clean and well maintained. The staff is courteous and helpful. Please don't go before 10 AM, the supplies come around 9-30. The quality is of course superb and the costs are extremely reasonable.

Sweets are good. However, Quality of Muffins cake are worst!! Couldn't even at the cakes as it was completely spoilt & had to be disposed! Unexpected from a Brand like Banchharams!! Please look into your food Quality as you are charging heavily from the customers at the same time!

Good and innovative sweets. Do try their fusion sweets like baked mihidana tart, mihidana pantua sondesh and the famous white jolbhora korapak. They also have snacks like Paneer chop and few other options. I am not very fond of those personally because of the stuffing doesnot feel very good. In winters do check out the Nolen gurer tube if you are a gur lover.

We needed sweets to carry back to Delhi NCR as all our friends appreciate Bengali sweets and specially from the renowned Babncharan outlet in Salt Lake This is a new outlet and had a complete range of sweets and too numerous to document However the baked rosogollas and mango sweet Doi (curd) were the top choices and highly recommended. Do experience exquisite taste of Bancharam sweets said to be the best available

  • 4/5 Subhajit C. 1 year ago on Google
They are trying to be like South Indian brrands like A2B .. in Kolkata they used to sell only sweets but now you can get dosa chaats different snacks in these outlets. I like the food and the sweets that they prepare. Items are costly. Ambience is good.
