Passage was prohibited. We have to hide the car in the village and walk along goat paths around the checkpoint. The place is dangerous, there are no paths. The slopes are very sharp and large, God forbid you fall. But it’s worth driving through once to see this beauty in person.

(Translated by Google) KRASNOSELSK CHALK QUARRY - near the village of Krasnoselsky, Grodno region, Belarus. It is the quarries near the village of Krasnoselsky in the Volkovysk district that are the most recognizable and popular among tourists. A chain of artificial lakes, formed naturally in pits of various sizes, is rightfully considered the most visited tourist point of this nature. The territory, which belongs to the Krasnoselsky quarries, consists of more than 2 dozen pits. Some of them are already abandoned, others are in development at the moment. !!!!! Tourists should remember that the bottom in the quarries is not as flat as in a natural lake. It should be borne in mind that near the coast the depth can be a meter, and after a few steps there are cliffs with a depth of 3 m or more.

A very beautiful place! It's definitely worth visiting at least once -) One of the most beautiful places in Belarus of this format. Paradise for a photographer -) It's a pity that the area is prohibited. Therefore, you will have to leave the car a little aside and make your way along the paths to the “Belarusian Maldives”. Despite the ban, people still continue to come here, sometimes for several days, pitch tents, swim and walk around the quarries.

(Translated by Google) A very beautiful place! Entry and passage is prohibited, but local residents told us that the police are on duty only on weekends, when there are a lot of people. We didn't see civil servants, we didn't see any guards. You can leave the car at the concrete blocks and continue on foot. On the other side of the village there are also old quarries. Some of them are turquoise and green quarries, in the second, locals swim. Free access to old quarries.

A very beautiful place! The water is an unreal color, the nature around is just a fairy tale. Tourists are not allowed to enter, the road to the most beautiful quarry is littered and destroyed, and we had to walk. The slopes look quite dangerous, so you need to walk carefully here.

(Translated by Google) Eh, I remember walking through corn fields, bushes and forests in 2017 to see these wonderful quarries. And then everything was complicated by the police, who caught people like me! I had a landmark - a huge chalk factory, but I had to improvise from it. I went along a dump road, and I remember how BelAZ stopped and the driver shouted that I was going in the wrong direction)) In less than 3 hours he wandered through the corn fields and all sorts of dumbbells, but as a result he went to the quarries. For some reason, at that moment I had neither the Internet nor a map at hand. There was only self-confidence that I would quickly find these careers. There is even a video on the channel, who will be interested, but I don't want to bother with it. In general, I recommend to visit! Very beautiful places!

(Translated by Google) If anyone does not know, these are artificial reservoirs formed on the site of abandoned chalk quarries. Chalk has been mined here for more than a hundred years, so there is a choice of quarries to explore. This tourism is completely “wild”, there are no toilets, fast food, tour guides and everywhere there are signs that stop is prohibited, swimming is prohibited, etc. In fact, these are technical reservoirs, but who will stop it when you are attracted by the turquoise, emerald water surface, these fantastic views from the cliffs.

(Translated by Google) Beauty cannot be conveyed through a photo. Before you go, you need to choose a day with a clear sky. There is a guard at the entrance, but he lets through without problems) (Original)

Very beautiful place! The water has an unreal color, the nature around is stunning. There is a ban on swimming along the road, but many people enjoy the water. The road to the most beautiful quarry is littered with garbage. Access from the parking lot is about a 10-15 minute walk.

I won’t write about the beauty of these places, you can see it from the photos. This year there is no security (in past years there was always a guard in the trailer near the road, who, of course, let him through, but he had to beg))

Of course, it is difficult to get to the place itself by car. We walked where the gravel road begins, about 10-15 minutes. The kids (13 and 14 years old) loved it. You can't swim there, but the view is beautiful.
