This place came recommended by the folks at our hotel as a great place for live music. It completely delivered. The decor of the place completely sets the stage for a night of classic blues and rock with 'Old School' rock paraphernalia hanging everywhere. The bar serves up an assortment of food spanning Thai and many western favorites with the added bonus of a full compliment of Mexican dishes. The place has a good vibe, good food and is priced fair. The band is good and will definitely play something if not everything you remember from years gone by. Loved it!

If you are in Hua Hin, you just have to visit El Toro Loco if you like live music. The band is super duper good, and I personally like the new place much better. Here it is almost as if you are sitting outdoors. Then the people who work there are incredibly nice, and the food is great. See you again in July :)

I would NOT recommend this place. The menu is there but not the food. So many items ain't available and beers choices is like sucks. Oh yeah, if you don't have the local currency, don't go! They only accept cash. No credit cards is accepted.

You can’t go wrong here. Honest local venue with what appears a local rock legend with an incredible musical talent. Food is fair mix of Mexican bites and Thai, even if it seems quiet wait for the music with the local owner who takes requests and will suprise you with amazing rock/country classics from your childhood.

Took a Grab all the way to this new location, but it was completely dead and they only offered 2 or 3 items on the menu because the chef was not in. The food we ordered was mediocre, but the service was excellent. I would not recommend going for an early dinner since it doesn’t seem to have customers or music until much later in the evening.

A must go to bar in Hua Hinn. The music is fantastic with a World class vocalist and lead guitarist. All the staff are friendly, with great service and reasonably priced food and drink. Despite the name, there's no bull at El Toro, you get a memorable experience, making you want to return to listen to the famous rock rifts, in the company of great people enjoying excellent food and drink. What's not to like about this bar?

My favourite place in Thailand. Great food, amazing music, really good service. Nice place to go daytime with children, there is a nice playground and even better place in the evening enjoying the music and a beer.

Love this place. If you like Classic Rock music and Mexican food this is the place to go. Band plays every night. Everything from the blues to heavy metal to folk and an occasional Thai song. Also serve great Thai food.

My first visit to the new location. Much better! More space, more quiet neighborhood, and the rock show has a bigger, more visible stage! The sound system is awesome! The Stone Head Band are really talented with the repertoire of songs they have, and they really do sound like Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler when they sing Sultans of Swing, or Cream when they Sunshine of Your Love. I had a blast listening to them. I had their pork nachos. They were alright. Mexican food is hard to nail in Thailand though, so my expectations weren’t too high. I also asked for guacamole and only got, what looked to be, a quarter of a diced avocado sprinkled on top. My friend then requested a side of guacamole for HIS nacho plate and he was told they were all out of avocados. I guess that answered my puzzlement at my plate. Oh well.

Good food and fantastic music and sound quality 😊 Level of volume is just as high it needs to be. This way you can lean over the table and have a conversation with your companion without screaming in to each others ear. (like you have to do in another rock place in Hua Hin)
