Had fried morning glory, fried minced pork with basil, fried yellow noodles with pork, pad thai with shrimp, green curry coconut with chicken, fried rice with garlic. Tasty food. Boss is Alan who sits up front and welcomes all. Chef made the items gluten free for us. I think it’s pretty good and if you are not sure of which restaurant then try this. Spice levels can be adjusted. I took the wimpy option as I was traveling. LOL

Excellent! Wife cooking, daughter serving with perfect English, and the boss an English gentleman. You better book if you arrive after 18h. They were nice to buy me some lime leaves and curry to take back home. Very friendly people which is a plus when you do not know the country.

Enjoying Hua Hin for the first time since the pandemic, I have been delighted to enjoy dinners at Oraya's restaurant again in the last days. Fortunately they have survived and the food and service continue to be heart-warming. Delicious Thai dishes and good singha beer at affordable prices accompanied by big smiles of the superfriendly owner and his family and staff. Located few steps away from the Hilton, this is a great place to enjoy Thai hospitality in Hua Hin.

Every time I vacation in Hua Hin with my partner, we make sure to drop by at least once to Oraya's. The quality and value of the food is outstanding. I've included an image of one of the curried duck dishes I personally enjoy. The place itself is quaint and tasteful. The owner and servers are friendly and easy to be around. I can't recommend them highly enough. It is true that the pandemic has been hard on their business, I hope they come out ok on the other side, and I intend to go back so long as they still exist.

Both dishes had fresh ingredients and the portions were generous. Everything on the menu looked delicious!!! Chances upon Oraya's as we were looking for a lunch spot around Hua Hin. The hospitality by the family is amazing, and the food was even better! Loved all the noodle dishes that we got - Phad Thai, Phad Si-Ew & Tang Hoon. They each had the flavour of the wok, which was fragrant and hearty. The curries packed a punch, but was amazing! You could also opt for a non-spicy version which was equally tasty as well. Ended the meal with some fresh mango on the house (thank you!!). 😊

Good and authentic Thai food run by and English man, his local wife who's the main chef, her daughter and a family friend who also helps cook. So good that I didn’t even have time to take a photo! The lovely owner answered my phone and made my favorite Krapow Gai (spicy basil chicken) in just a few minutes. I asked for not too spicy and she made it perfect! A nice kick; but not painful 🤪 With our new Change Hua Hin Real Estate office right around the corner, this will be my “go to place” for lunch and dinner whenever I’m at the office! EDIT - late night at the office so ordered again and amazing again! Such a lovely family run restaurant!

The Oraya‘s is a very good Thai Restaurant. The food is very good and so are the prices. The Quality of the food you get is also up to standards. The portions are big and make you full. The staff is very friendly and can, partly, communicate in english. The location and interior is also comfortable.

Very casual, small restaurant. Ordered pork stir fried in red curry paste. Portion size was generous and the pork was tender. Flavor was excellent. Well done, chef! Total price for this dish, plus rice and a bottle of soda water was 215 thb. Just a little bit higher than I expected due to the price of the soda water. Don't think I've paid more than 20 for soda at other restaurants in town. But overall it was a good meal and I will happily come back. There are many more dishes to try!
