A nice hotel, but too expensive for the level of service it provides. I've been to other 5 star hotels in the area and they were simply better. The reception area is very uninviting and the private pools are extremely cold. The worst part the view from the rooms. It's like looking at a desolated park. Service is good though and the beach is nice. Still, I can't recommend it.

We stayed at Cape Nidhra in a group of 7 for 3 nights. We had booked 2 Sky Pool Suites and the Family Suite (2nd floor, Building 2), and were upgraded upon arrival to the Moonlight Pool Suite and Deluxe Sky Pool Suite, both on the 3rd floor of Building 3. We booked two cars (Toyota Camry and Toyota Alphard) from HHQ through the hotel, which were spacious and comfortable. Check-in was smooth, and the snacks, tea, and ice cold towel offered were fantastic! We booked our spa appointments at this time. I would recommend booking these in advance, as not many appointments were available. The Family Suite was not as spacious as we were hoping - it had one room that was identical to the Deluxe Sky Pool Suite, with a smaller room attached to it, which had no balcony, but a large jacuzzi tub. There was a locking door in between the two. We were hoping for more of a conjoined living space. The other two suites were comfortable and spacious. My husband and I stayed in the Moonlight Pool Suite, which was very comfortable. Despite my overall positive impression of Cape Nidhra, especially for the price, I thought the rooms could have been better maintained. For example, the large soaking tub in our room was dirty, and the balcony door could not be closed (there was a slight crack, and were unable to lock the door). Housekeeping was also not as thorough as other 5-star resorts that I've stayed in (they did not remove used plates/cutlery from our rooms, for instance). The pool was large and clean, and there were consistently open cabanas while we were there. However, other reviewers are correct to note that there is a contingent of older European travelers who liked to "reserve" the loungers next to the pool by putting large clips on them for the whole day. As a result, it was difficult to get loungers, even though many were unoccupied. There were many open beachside loungers. The beach itself is not private and is relatively small, but clean. I would not recommend the drinks at the rooftop bar. Breakfast was delicious and varied, although not fully available at all hours listed. On our last day, we went down for breakfast at 6:45 (breakfast opens at 6:30), and it was only partially available. Dinner service was very slow, and pricey for the area. The food was fine. Despite spraying for mosquitos three times a week (per the sign at reception), we encountered more mosquitos here than the rest of our trip, especially during dinner at the on-site restaurant.

This hotel is wonderful, the staff are kind and welcoming, we had a garden room which was spacious and had everything you could wish for. The private pool was cold but wonderful once you were in it. The hotel is right on the beach but we never went in the sea as there were too many jellyfish so stayed around the pool. I am a very fusy eater but always found something to eat at breakfast, they serve fizz on Sat, Sun and Wed for free....yippee. The food at lunchtime was blooming fantastic (you do have to pay for it). Loved the roof top bar great service and great view. I did not like Hau Hin to big and dirty for me but the hotel is wonderful.

Too pricey for the quality of services and room. Air con was dirty so we asked to change the room but front desk said all the rooms are fully booked and have technician clean it. After that we found dust and debris on the bed so we asked to have the bedsheets changed and now the front desk said will move us to a new room! Hmmm.. now u have a room available. Anyway, all other staffs are nice. Breakfast was not so impressive. Got ants on baked potatoes container. Salad section has just a few items. Room amenities provided with shower hat, cotton buds and vanity bag. Need to request for toothpaste/toothbrush. Slippers are worn out. Some bathroom outfits are outdated. However, the oversized bed is very comfy.

This time was our second visit spending 3 days and 2 nights. 2 days and 1 night isn’t enough. We chose this place as our superb vacation because of spacious and very clean room and pool as well as full facilities at the hotel with acceptable price. Staff here are helpful and service-minded, always greeting us with Sawasdee ka/krub. Khun Mew and Khun Joy at reception area provided us useful help.

Part of the Cape group, amazing standards throughout the hotel from staff, to in room pools to restaurant - Main pool is well staffed with comfortable sun beds as well as day bed option including pool edge ones, and beach sun beds. Chris and the team are really friendly and helpful and between them speak most languages. Plenty of towels and complimentary chilled water as well as a food and bar service. Rooms are a maximum 3 stories and each with a pool, garden pools are the largest, but potentially overlooked by the 2 above, others have a walk in option from your bathroom and the top floor have their own rooftop terrace above your room and pool, stairs are a little steep if you have mobility issues. 100thb gets you to the Night Market 150thb to the Cicada Market at weekends, easy 10min walk to the restaurant rich area around the Hilton and a 7-11 across the road with ATM either side of it as well as a wine store and larger supermarket.

This place is beyond amazing. Big rooms, spotlessly clean, midern and good quality furniture. The whole hotel quiet and very private. Breakfast choice is on the smaller side but everything on offer is of premium quality. The staff is amazing, friendly and welcoming. 100% recommendation.

Amazing staff and a well thought out and maintained hotel, location is well situated with taxi across the road for any longer trips, half a dozen restaurants in walking distance 100thb gets you to the night market or shopping centre. Breakfast has a huge range for all tastes and nationalities with Annie heading the very attentive staff. Huge pool with quality beds and enough for everyone on top of your daybed and own pool (and own terrace) with Chris and the guys looking after you with towels and chilled water as well as a bar service and snacks. Beware this will spoil every hotel you stay in afterwards.

My stay with Cape Nidhra was truly what luxury service is all about. The service reception check in was flawless, we were greeted with warm smiles & their signature sweet snacks and a welcome drink with a cold towel after a hot day outside. We were escorted into the room where everything was immaculately explained and well thought out, the rooms were incredibly spacious, the private pool was a treat and it came with a fruit basket which was a nice touch. The plus from me was the birthday cake that came because i was celebrating a birthday! I thought that was really nice and it brought a personalised touch to the whole experience. The pool - medium sized but packed a punch. Absolutely gorgeous view of the sea, plenty of lounge decks and sofas to sit & chill. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant was the perfect ambience and lighting for a welcoming breakfast. Overall I would definitely return again.

Cape Nidhra is a beautiful beachfront hotel with luxurious rooms and excellent service. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the hotel has a wide range of amenities, including a spa, pool, and restaurants. I would highly recommend Cape Nidhra to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

🌴🏊‍♂️💰💼🍔🍣🧀🏋️‍♂️🛋️ I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, it was quite comfortable. I paid USD$442 for a 2-night stay in the garden pool suite during weekdays, and I think it was worth the money. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. What really made my stay special was the staff. They were super nice and helpful, especially the front desk staff. They even remembered my room number, which was impressive. I have to say, it was truly 5-star service! One thing to note about the garden pool suite is that while there is a private pool in the room, it's not completely private. If there are people staying above you, they can see you swimming. So if you want a truly private pool experience, I would recommend choosing a different room type. One thing that surprised me was that the bed was a bit short. I'm around 175cm tall, and my feet hung off the end of the bed. But it was still comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. The bed was very comfortable and big enough, which made for a great night's sleep. We only had breakfast at the hotel, and while the drinks and fruit were excellent, the Chinese food and Japanese food didn't taste very good. I have to say, the Brie cheese was terrible! I mentioned this to the manager, but she didn't seem too concerned about it. The pool was nice, but the view wasn't anything special. I did appreciate that they had chairs outside by the beach, and they even provided kayaks for guests to use. I also checked out the gym, and while they had enough equipment, some of it was pretty old and even had rust on it. All in all, it's worth spending the money to stay at this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the service is excellent. However, there is room for improvement. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. #huahinresort #huahinhotel

Beautiful hotel and nice located. Staff are very fantastic. The hotel housekeepers are hospitality professional. The gard was really nice and helpful too. Private pool was my favorit . Beach’s very clean and beautiful. Breakfast’s good and the bakery’s the best. 😋 You can go by foot to shopping mall Marget Village or take a taxi. We have spent 5 nights and really dont want to leave. We will come back again next year.

This is a unique and wonderful hotel. The rooms, pool and facilities are first class. The hotels greatest asset are its staff who were friendly, knowledgeable and fun. The food was amazing too! I want to mention Annie the F&B manager who runs the best hotel restaurant. And we can’t forget Fon who always made us smile. Thanks everyone at Cape Nidhra!

Cape Nidhra is the beautiful and extraordinary hotel. The hotel facilities are all excellent and breakfast is tasty. All of the staffs are humble and attentive that always have big smiles and give a very warm welcome to us. Special thank to receptionist and concierge who are great with the most service mind, helpful and friendly, especially Ms.Bonus, Ms.Pui, Ms.Nene and Mr.Kon. We had memorable and special vacation. We are so impressed.

Fantastic hotel on the Beach in Hua Hin we stayed 12 nights but wished it was more . The staff really fantastic in all aspects , restaurant very good both "western" and Thai food . Pool amazing with jets that was actually placed where you got a massage . Would have given 6 stars if possible . Big thanks to Christian and his crew .

We stayed at Cale Nidhra in October 2022 for 9 nights in Sky Pool Deluxe. It was amazing. So much more than we expected. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The accomodation was perfect, the breakfasts were great and the roof top bar for a nightly cocktail was fun. The effort to make everyone’s stay superb was evident everywhere you looked. Hua Hun itself was a wonderful place to visit. 5 stars all round! The only bummer was it didn’t have beach view from the room - that’s all, no big deal though.

Amazing hotel, went for my 5 year anniversary with my wife. Super relaxed. As good as the hotel and facilities are, the staff are better. Maybe the best breakfast buffet at a hotel I have ever had. Highly recommended

Excellent experience. A well-designed room with private pool. Staff is nice and polite, and the view from the pool to the beach is fascinating. Restaurant food quality is high (despite of a limited choice for morning buffet), and I strongly recommend the bar - cocktail quality is unexpectedly high.

Awesome service as expected Amazing rooms as the layout is perfect. Bed is good Quick access to the beach. 1 star shy is for the food n to be fair din have much chance to eat in as went out to eat. For the breakfast buffet selection a little short but the almond crossaint is good.. Added frm Edit: for non frequent resort hunters, we were looking forward with booking the massage Spa upon arrival but to dismay its fully booked. It's fairly big disappointment as it was not made known to book beforehand.

We really enjoyed our time here. It's an amazing place, very big luxurious rooms with your own pool. Staff is extremely friendly. Really nothing to fault here! Some things to note: the pools can be quite chilly if you come during the colder months in Thailand. Additionally, some pool rooms have a view on a football field that's in disarray. Not the prettiest view to say the least, but when we asked staff to change rooms with a better view we got accommodated quickly. All in all, I will definitely come back.

Just spent 2 nights in the hotel. Everything was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Great pool. Spacious and very clean room. Will definitely return. 10-15 minutes walk from the night market

Excellent stay gorgeous huge comfy bed, quiet room. staff were excellent friendly & attentive. Breakfast was freshly cooked & delicious the service could do with a little more organisation greeting guests & a guidance to tables as guests appears to wait prior to realising its casual seating. Evening meal was sumptuous, again freshly cooked just perfect. The bar was a disappointment bit of an after thought being on a higher level with a partial sea view this would of been wonderful to be on the front of the property with an ideal sea view with music a DJ with a buzz would make this property really fabulous & a fun place to stay.

Amazing stay! Thoughtful and friendly staffs. Breakfast needs to be improved as the choice is very limited, there's a buffet area that we missed at the back dining room, because there was no sign or direction to check out more. In the late afternoon towards sunset time, MUST visit the outdoor lounge by the beach. There is a live saxophone show, which I must say, it's truly ~giving~ Every saturday morning you can join a yoga class at 7 am which you can pre-book at the reception. Overall, it was a magnificent stay!

Our experience could’ve been off to a better start. Soon thereon after we unloaded our luggage carrier and got nicely settled in our cozy room, we were left with no choice but to temporarily move to another room until the following day. This was all due to a malfunctioning a/c caused by an ice buildup that led to blowing out warm air. The mgr called us the following day of the incident and offered us a complimentary afternoon tea service (looking forward to the experience before our check-out). Other than that, the the food, particularly with the breakfast buffet, significantly lacked the variety and quality. Our house-keeping cleaning lady is so sweet, nice and kind—I’ll definitely leave her a generous tip for her professionalism. We plan on staying back at the resort for the rest of the afternoon and evening to take-in what the resort has to offer. Thus far, we are truly pleased with the overall experience; to include the encounters we have had with the smiling faces of the resort staff. More to follow…

The staff is really friendly and always greet you. The public pool was great and cool. The rooms are amazing from a interior stand point, I can tell a lot of thought has gone into it, the private pool has a hallway that connects to a shower. Breakfast was lovely and yummy, it's located near the pool and has a sunroom, you can also eat outside. It's 5 star but has a very quaint, outdoorsy, and rustic vibe to it, so don't expect it to be luxurious or have a "royal decor" to it. Lobby was very cute and small. Beach was lovely although you have to be weary of jelly fishes.

Super lovely and comfortable stay! One of the best stays I've had. Sleep - 5. The bed was heaven. Room - 5. We booked the one with the Service - 5 Breakfast - 4 (taste - 4, variety - 3.5) Room's View - 3 (not much of a view for most of the rooms I believe) Hotel's aesthetics & overall visual sense - 4.5 Walkable to the beach, its just a short walk through the hotel. Their common pool is small but nicely done up. There's sunbathing beds as well. I would come back again if I visit Huahin next time!

A bit too pricey for the level of service and quality of room and food. Had a room on the ground floor, with a big outdoor pool. However, we had a nightmare that very night on the first day we arrived because of mosquitos! Beware of mosquito issues if you get a ground floor room. The room and outdoor area and pool might be roomy and spacious compared to upper floors but the hotel does not have a good mosquito management. Our room had a lot of mosquitos that troubled us throughout the evening. We spent our evening killing mosquitoes and it didn't end there, even when we tried to sleep we still had mosquitoes flying around our face and ears. It was really really annoying. My partner's neck and face were bitten quite badly. We woke up at 2am, called the hotel and asked for a room change. So we moved to another room at 2am. The annoying thing is that in the late afternoon we had asked for something to deal with the mosquitos since we saw many of them in the room ever since we arrived. We asked for a mosquito racket and they didn't have it. They didn't even offer to spray the room to mitigate the situation. Doubt that the situation is isolated to our room given that we always see a lot of mosquitos outside the room at the ground floor, where there is a lot of vegetation. Luckily the new room on the 3rd floor was much better. However the incident really ruined the stay there. Advice to management: take the mosquito situation seriously esp on the ground floor because even having one mosquito in a room can disturb guest's sleep the whole night. Food was so so at the restaurant.

Great service, all employees are very friendly. The room/in-room pool is very clean. You can walk to the beach and the sand there is very clean and soft. PS. Chromecast is available to borrow.

Came here for our honeymoon, booking with this hotel was the best decision made! From the warm hospitality, awesome F&B choices to the clean and spacious room with a large jacuzzi at the balcony we loved every part of it!

Good layout , well decorated room and cozy environment. Connecting rooms are both spacious. Big trees outside the room. Mosquito net is helpful. Pool was cleaned very early in the morning. I could swim at 6.30 am.

General Manager Christian and his staff very friendly with prompt services. The rooms are stunningly new renovated, also with a large bathtub and separate shower and private pool at the balcony. Highly recommends this exclusive hotel.

  • 5/5 Brendan G. 1 year ago on Google
Well, what can I say? Stunning, Fabulous, Amazing. These words fall short of how I would describe our stay. This modern hotel offers and delivers everything above expectation. Each room has its own private pool on the balcony with the rooms themselves being spacious, immaculately clean and brimful of facilities. The food is excellent and the presentation superb. The pool area is jaw-dropping and there’s never a problem securing a lounger. The pool area is located a mere 5-6 steps from the most beautiful beach. However, it must be stated that the crowning glory of this first class hotel is the amazing staff. From security staff through porters, check-in staff, waiting staff, bar staff, kitchen staff, cleaning staff, every single member of staff we passed or encountered greeted us and recognised our importance to their continued livelihood and this shines through and made us feel very valued and special. The entire team are a credit to the management and should be the standard by which others are measured. Very highly recommended if you are going to Hua Hin. We will certainly be returning.
