First visit and enjoyed friendly service with a good atmosphere. My meal was excellent and full of flavor

Visited twice...it is quite a well patronised pub restaurant in this area. Good ambiance when a band is performing at night. Food is just average. Irish stew was OK Ted Burger was not good (meat a bit smelly and with pieces of fat/nerves inside ; bun and cheese tasteless ; fries were good !) Apple pie undercooked was below average Menu prices are OK Service is inconsistent. When it gets busy, the service team loose their smile , run like chicken without heads and try to avoid your table if you just arrived. Havent seen any mgr or supervisor around to take care of the customers on our both visits.

We went here for an Irish breakfast and a cup of Barry's tea. The staff were very attentive and fast with the service. The atmosphere was relaxing and the food was cooked to perfection giving a brief sense of home in 32 degree heat. The air con is nice but we sat outside and the staff pointed fans at us to keep us cool. The price was good as well which helps. This dining experience put me back on track after a few days of bad eating so I was delighted to find it. I'd definitely recommend the breakfast at least if you are in the area.

Nice spot. Reasonable prices, a great atmosphere and great staff. I was impressed with how quick everything was considering the place was full. 5 star place, food was 4 star (just my opinion...wasn't bad, wasn't great). I could see this being my local if I lived here. Definitely give it a try!

Great place. Buzzing with activity and excellent music, this is a fun place. The beer is very reasonably priced, the food is excellent and also similarly well priced and the waiting staff are efficient, attentive and friendly. No hesitation in recommending this venue which is well worth a visit while you are in Hua Hin. You won’t be disappointed!

Good food at a reasonable price. A lot of time & effort has obviously gone into the establishment. The service can sometimes be hit & miss, depending how busy it is. Overall, a good pub/restaurant - just avoid sitting too close to the live music.

Father Ted's is a fantastic pub and cafe located near the beach. You won't be able to miss it because it has a huge green sign outside. I've gone here twice in the last week, for brunch and for a Sunday roast. I have to admit that the food quality, portion sizes, and overall value consistently blew me away. On Sundays, there is also live jazz music from 1-3pm, which creates a very pleasant mood. I chose the lamb and beef Sunday roast and wholeheartedly recommend it. Everything was well cooked, the condiments were sufficient, and there was plenty of gravy! The owner spends a significant amount of time interacting with customers and ensuring that everyone is satisfied. By the time I finished my roast today, I had already reserved a table again for next Sunday!

10 weeks here in HuaHin, looking around and finding those Gems. Father Ted's is the one. Excellent. Lovely venue , location and the best menu I have seen here in HuaHin. Irish Lamb Stew mid-week at lunchtime. Delicious, a top chef beyond any doubt. And today , Sunday Roast Lamb. Delicious. And now , Thursday... Mexican Beef Chilli with Tortilla and Red rice. Again , superb quality and depth of flavour. Finished off with Chocolate Brownie. Top marks.

First night in town and just Googled " pubs' and this bar was first up.. so gave it s go. Had eaten before and was a mistake. Should have eaten here!.. Looked like some great food coming out served by fast and efficient hard working staff. They never stopped!... The barman serving us was fast and friendly in this busy bar... The 3 piece band with a girl with a great voice had some up dancing... Great atmosphere!!.. We nipped in for one drink and stayed the whole night!! Am suffering this morning!!... but a good night and would absolutely recommend and will return for sure... Good luck to all.. PS What was the name of the 3 piece band last night?

Always had a good meal here, and the live music is awesome too. Been here several times and I have never been disappointed. I also ate Thanksgiving dinner here last year and it was delicious.

A great Irish pub and restaurant centrally located in Hua Hin. There have been a few visits here over time because of the good food and drink. The place has a good selection of beers on tap, and otherwise plenty of imported beers in bottles. Live music creates a good atmosphere, and there are many visitors here. If you are looking for a good meal, for example Lamb Shank, with drinks in all varieties, this is the place. Pleasant service, even when there is a lot to do, makes you happy to visit the place again on later occasions.

Enjoyed the breakfast with a very nice hot cup of coffee. The place is super clean, great staff and service. Will definitely be back here.

Really good bar for a relaxing hassle free drink. The staff are great and so friendly.Took great care of me when I was last there and had had a bit of an accident. Music is great,enjoyably audible without being over bearing ,unlike most bars in Thailand. The food is pretty good,and was my place of choice for breakfast every morning.Excellent coffee! Overall I highly recommend this bar and can not commend the staff enough (2 ladies in particular) A real credit to the owner...

Rocked to some Beatles classics with the live band and enjoyed some good food. We went on a Wednesday night and the place was packed. For our party of six it was difficult getting a table together. I ordered the lamb Irish stew and a pint of Tiger. The stew was thick, rich and tasty and it came with mashed potato and bread. Very nice. I have eaten here before but it was a while ago. The breakfast was recommended.

Food was ok. small to average portion size , for pub grub. drinks service a little bit hit and miss sometimes on you for new drink.sometimes I had to order at the bar. All in all its not bad but I wouldn't rush back. Update! I did go back and gave it another go both me and my wife had the lamb roast.the roast potatoes got a bit burned & the lamb was very fatty it came on a massive plate but just average portions it all looked a bit lost.both of us rated the lamb roast 2.5 out 5 I definitely won't bother again. I originally wrote this review a year& half ago but changed some spelling mistakes 5 days ago so this is not a new review!!!! But your response just confirms my opinion of your establishment!!!

Really nice bar, the Guinness was well above the standard of many of the other provinces I've tried it in Thailand and at a really good price point (Probably the cheapest I've seen) pool table and dart board upstairs along with good music and an owner who is in amongst it - will be back before we leave!

We are here for drinks and watching live sport. The live music is great, amazing! The singers are amazing. Great voice and great play. They are brilliant! We enjoyed it here very much. 👍

Best Sunday roast ever! I like their club sandwich as well, big portion, most importantly, no mayo which makes the sandwich much healthier.

It was our 2nd time here and the service/food is consistently excellent!!! I had the Lamb Stew and it had a savory flavor, consistency not too watery or thick, a great comfort food to wash down with a Guinness. It was exactly what I wanted in a stew and the passion in making it was there, hard to find a good stew like this. For sides we had Chips and Salsa as well as Bruschetta. The salsa tasted homemade and was very good, the Bruschetta was refreshing and lite. Last time I had the Bangers and Mash, the food is always quality. I highly recommend if you are looking for a good gastro Pub, this is one of our go to’s.

Fish and chips are great and worth a visit. The lamb and rosemary pie is very tasty. Irish pub vibes including the fake fireplace.

On Sunday 19 November I ordered lamb shank and was impressed with the seize of the bone… however very very disappointed with the seize of the meat on the bone… I told the waiter who smiled and walked off , not knowing what would happen next . I decided to start eating as I was hungry. The seize of the meat would not have filled a normal seize sandwich for the price of over 400 bth . Disappointed and still hungry I got up when a western Irish person thanked me for my attendance who is now known to me as the owner. I thought he should be told about my experience, so I did and his response was “ well every lamb shank has a bone on it “ to which I answered its not the seize of the bone, but the lack of meat on the bone that’s the issue. He didn’t seem to interested in “ customer satisfaction “ I said “ I’ll leave it with you “ and walked out …. Never to return. 1 happy customer will tell another 9 1 unhappy top 10 google restaurant reviewer will tell many thousands of followers . … Wishing you better luck with your business than I had with my meal. I gave you 2 opportunities to make my visit a better experience, however you failed twice. I would not recommend this restaurant/pub……

Ordered the tenderloin filet. Ordered medium rare it arrived cold to the touch. So guessing that they let it sit on cold plate for too long after cooking. the meat was good though,tender and flavorful.

Stopped by for a quick beer, didn’t eat. They had a Beatles cover band that was definitely rocking the house. The menu was a little too pricey for my tastes - I felt like there was better value for dinner elsewhere in Hua Hin. But with that said, I enjoyed the beer and music!
