a quiet stretch of the beach. No mass tourism. There are many small restaurants along the street and also the shops in the small side streets are worth a visit. So who is looking for party and mass tourism is in Hua Hin in the wrong place.

An amazing place to hang around on summer evenings. The locals and Thai tourists are more than expats; buzzing with good stalls of all kind, sweet and savoury. The sea food can't get better (and the chicken fry competes with equal strength) take a beer, drought or Leo or a Heineken; sit down the stretch of the pier that opens to the sea. There are lots of tables and chairs; but on the weekend you might have to just do with the cornice. Whether a little to munch or to hog, you will have a fascinating variety- dessert too. Usually there is live (Karaoke) music. On the days I visited there was an young singer whose voice was pure gold. The songs are all in Thai...but loving music doesn't need to follow a language. You can sit there for hours after the sundown. I wish to go back for more breeze, more beer and more food, of course.

Took a nice stroll after lunch to enjoy the views. Was nice especially to cool down from the heat. Lots of wind out there.

Visit this pier during daytime to get a view of Hua Hin and the ocean. Visit this place in the late evening to enjoy the nice scenery made from the fishingboats' lights. The green light from the squid boats are mesmerizing. Available tables and chairs at the end of the pier allows you to sit down and enjoy the wonderfull breeze while you drink and eat amazing street food from the nearby foodcarts. No entry fee.

The access and pier seem quite abandoned, also currently no ferry service to Pattaya and the beach has almost gone.

It's Friday night. Red tables and chairs line the far end of the pier. A stage is lit and music is blaring from somewhere... No doubt an show or a band might be on stage later... Food stalls line the length of the pier and nearly any type of seafood is available... Parking however is a serious issue.... And so are the ablution facilities.. better to walk here or come by scooter... And as for the toilets.. well.. at the begining of the pier....and then nowhere else again. It still looked festive.. Happy Friday fun night.

We were there in the evening and walked there on suspicion. Pier with some food stalls. Food was tasty and inexpensive. However, the place is very dark and could be off-putting if you quickly feel uncomfortable
