Tamarind Market

Tourist attraction Live music venue Food court Night market

👍👍 Wonderful variety of food stalls here. Unlike the Cicada Night Market next door, this specialises in just food. For myself, I particularly loved the barbecued meats. Lots of Tables and a Stage where live music is performed. You pay cash at the food stalls rather than Food Card used in Cicada. People often mention market, live, music, night, good, Cicada, great, stalls, Market, enjoy,

Busy and popular market which has a great vibe, live music too. There are plenty of stalls selling cheap and yummy food and drinks. Local beers are cheap too starting at only 55 baht! Lots of chairs and tables throughout the market. It’s more of a food market rather than to shop for goods. We preferred it to Cicada Market which is not too far away. You should check out both markets as they are different to each other.

I've been to a lot of night markets in Thailand, and this one surprised me. Plenty of food to choose from at excellent prices. Very good live music playing and plenty of seats to enjoy your food and beer. I'm not surprised it was sooooo busy, we came both nights during our weekend stay. We usually stay closer to town, but would happily stay near this night market again, Highly Recommended.

Great market for food, drink and music. Next door to Citada market. Food and drink is cash here so you don't have to get tokens like next door ! Lots of seats and so much choice. Once you get a table always leave someone there otherwise you will loose it !!! Especially in busy times ! All good is excellent here and freshly cooked. Enjoy 👍🏼

This food market is amazing. You could eat here for two weekends straight and still be amazed with outstanding food and drinks every night. Relaxed atmosphere, fresh and delicious food, good prices and friendly service.

Good atmosphere. Recommend trying grilled prawns (far right corner), sour sausage and padthai (same area), then baked potatoes, and pizza. Other various food stalls there are hit or miss, some food is good, some not really. AVOID the burger joint, not worth the money and not sure is safe to eat

The market itself is OK, here there are many food shops with a good variety of food. The minus is that it is not easy finding a place to sit. The market also has a few artists showing and selling their work. Just off the path going towards the Cicada market, there are also some places selling things. I was not happy to see live animals on display.

Oh, this market is super busy and super popular. You can expect all sort of food from barbeque to desert to grilled seafood to fill your tummy. You probably don’t need to eat after you visited here a word of caution though the price of food here is not that cheap compared to what you can get outside of the market but as you can expect nothing is really that expensive in Thailand

Weekend buzz, evening music live on stage , varietal and well presented Western and Thai dishes, fair prices and many tables for seating. Better grab one first and shift whom goes after their dishes first while alternating.

Tamarind Market has lots of delicious good food options. Unlike Cicada, you don't have to purchase coupons in order to buy the food. The seating is spacious and comfortable with good natural ventilation. We enjoyed the live music very much, the band was very good and entertaining, singing a mix of Thai and English pop songs, making funny jokes in between songs. They even sang Baby Shark lol. 10/10 would recommend you to come here if you're in Hua Hin for the weekend. Great vibes, we had so much fun.

Outstanding chilled night market in Hua Hin on the road to Khao Takiab. Parking next door is 50 baht. Plenty of good cheap and clean food, I recommend the grilled squid with spicy seafood sauce, coconut icecream and grilled pork with jim jaew sauce. There is also acoustic live music which is great too. Nice vibe.

Right on the side of Cicada market. It offers better food than Cicada in my opinion, and especially the roasted pork neck stands out. It's probably a tad more expensive than Cicada, but it's a negligible amount. We would eat here and then check the little shops in Cicada every time we visit this area of Hua Hin.

We tried a few different stalls including the roti, grass jelly and the coconut ice cream (unpictured). Definitely recommend the Roti here we went for two days and ordered it on both days. We tried the banana and egg roti as well as the plain roti. Depends whether you like a crispy thin roti or a thicker one. The grass jelly with fresh milk was yummy but there was very little beverage and more ice so it felt quite expensive for the quantity. The coconut ice cream was quite expensive (80 baht) and melted very quickly — realistically you would eat half of the ice cream and it would all turn into liquid. All in all, great offerings in tamarind a little expensive but don’t need to exchange coupons!

We enjoyed just walking through and looking and tasting the local cuisine. Cash only. Lots of interesting dishes and very different to European food. There is a car par behind the market off the main road, look for the P sign. My recommendation is to take a tuk tuk. Wear comfy shoes. This is a food mark and only opens 17h00. I would suggest using Google translate when reading the menu.

This is also one of the famous night markets in Hua Hin. Please pay attention to the opening hours, it is not open every day. The Tamarind Night Market is not far from the city centre of Hua Hin. This night market has many food vendors and many indoor seating areas. After buying food, you can enjoy delicious food here and enjoy live music performances. It has a great atmosphere! The food is delicious, clean and hygienic, and the atmosphere is great. It's a great place to experience.

Of all the night markets in Hua Hin, this is the best. It’s small and mainly food stalls. Quite a good selection of food. Definitely tourist price. But the atmosphere is amazing. Worth spending a few hours there, have a meal and listen to the live band.

One of the best night markets in Hua Hin! We went on a Friday and the atmosphere was just wonderful. Just by walking distance is the Cicada Market and the bands that performed were so fun! The food, the music and overall vibes were so amazing I do hope everyone visits!

Night market with lots of food and clothes selling here, you can find pizza, burger and many thai food here. Especially thai dessert such as Khanom Krok, Baa bin. There is also live music here, the vibe is really great. Furthermore beers and alcohol are sold here as well. Personally I really love it here, always come here when visit Huahin 💓💓

This is a buzzing casual weekend food market, with live music. Reasonable prices. Stalls are mostly using biodegradable plates :) As a vegan, I was able to find a pad thai stall, offering vegetarian pad thai which I ordered without egg/fish sauce (but same pan used as for meat and not washed in between), and coconut ice cream (no dairy). There was also another stall that had rice and veg, and another stall that had vegetarian spring rolls. Can be hard to get a table at peak times. Can pay in cash (no need for purchasing coupons).

Great place for foods and shows But if you can add more muslim friendly food it gonna be a great place to hang out. Missing the vibes here. And for the opening hours, i hope management can extend the time till midnight.

If you go deeper into the trench, you will come across a small counter with burgers! These are some of the most delicious burgers in Hua Hin! ATTENTION! The weight of the triple will be within 450 grams + fries)) Decent fresh fish sushi! My husband and I shop here sometimes! They make it quickly and tasty!

This market has a lot of food and various choices. But it's just a little dirty on the floor after the rain and muddy. But no problem I still enjoy it. And also the music is so good with the singer and the guitarist. Nice place 👍👍

Very nice and chill weekend night market. Prices are fair and there is live music. Also nice tables to sit and enjoy your food. A little bit far from city center, but they have parking and the songthaews run every 5-10 minutes.
