Genuine theft - 200 Baht a head for nothing. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Not a real floating market. To think they even have the cheek to charge you to use the toilet too. Took 10 minutes to walk around. Owners should be ashamed of themselves. Please stay away if you are a tourist. All the stars on google reviews come from ‘local guides’ falsifying the ‘attraction’.

It's sad. Run down with only a few shops. Apparently popular before Covid but now walkways are rotting and some quite dangerous. Boats sunk or dilapidated. But the train still runs so an extra star. I really hope we went on a slow day. There is a lake that the shops surround. If in the area stop and have a look, because the place needs some people to get the place moving again. I know this is a lousy reason to visit. Sorry.

We understand the pandemic situation but when the time comes gor reopening everything. We think they should have been better prepared to welcome the tourists. We are in Huahin now and try to fine some interesting places to visit. The hotel staff told us that this floating market had closed for a long while. But we just want to check. We called and they said they have reopened for a year. So we decided to visit. The construction are broken. They need a repair. Not many shops left there. Nothing to be seen anymore. We used to come here in the past. There were many tasty snacks and food. Also many varieties of stuffs. But now, just a few food and 2 small coffee shops. Clothes shop are selling the same cheap T-shirt, shorts, sacs. The coffee shop close to the entrance has a nice seat to sit. A singer with his keyboard is singing some old classic songs. Drinks are good. But apart from the coffee shop, there is nothing. What a shame. We will not come back if they will not do something to improve this place. There are some potentials. We have seen many people coming to Huahin. Many restaurants on Saturday are fully booked. We hope this floating market will be reborn.

Supposed to be a tourist attraction but when I went, there were mostly Thais. This is probably because they can get in for free but there is a racist charge of 200bt for foreigners. To be charged to go shopping around a large artificial pond is disgraceful. There is a Large car park and a small train rides for the children. A noisy boat ride is also available to go around the pond. There is a Thai tradition show on a few times a day but was not showing at the time of my visit.

Do not take the drive out there! It is completely dilapidated, probably due to the lack of tourists during covid. There are about 5 shops selling the same touristic gimmicks you can find in town. The floorboards are breaking, and I felt worried for my child's safety while walking through the once picturesque market. It was very sad to see.

It's a really sad place to visit, 95% of shops are closed. It's more of a ghost town than a floating market. At the end 6 rabbits squashed into 2 tiny cages with sores all over them, also 3 goats similar condition, biting the tiny metal cage trying to get out, showing signs of insanity, very sad.

This place is dead, there's nothing to see except for the cashier who tried to charge us THB 50 (foreigners only). Not recommended!

This place has been hit by covid pretty bad. About 10% of shops are open, selling the usual poor quality souveniers. The board walk is falling apart, there are a bunch of sad rabbits and baby goats held in a cage for no apparent reason…its going to be a while before this place recovers.

It was an interesting find; looks and feels much more like an abandoned ghost town. Lost in time…

Mostly closed and unkept- we turned up around the same time as a few other tourists- unfortunately looks like it’s a victim of covid as with a few other sites- such a shame because it looks like it was amazing! Please bring it back- happy to change my post once they open back up again!

Other people have complained that this place is run down and needs renovation, they might be right but for me this just adds to its charm. Me and my family had a lovely time here, we went on the train, we fed the fish and we bought souvenirs which were very reasonably priced. We even bought the pictures the lady on the train took of us which were beautifully printed onto a hardboard frame, price was 100THB. A lovely place that deserves to live on.

Nice market but to be honest not much going on there. Due to Covid a lot of shops shut down, I'd guess probably 60%. Very calm yet lovely environment, as compared to the busy and touristic markets in Hua Hin center. Not many food options.

It was completely empty and with none. It's a consequence of the absence of tourism for the covid pandemic but it was almost surreal. Don't go there in this period

Unfortunately covid killed this little floating market. 95% closed. Might as well be closed.

Not much going on , a few shops open , selling the usual Thai aparel , and a couple of eating spots. This market must have been a hive of activity in its day. We visited the Floating Market on a sunday and were the only ones there. In all , I loved the place , has a feeling of charm and history. If you appreciate Thai culture and a past way of life then I suggest you explore.

If I could give zero stars I would. I can’t believe they charge to go in this place. Must only be 7/8 shops open, ask selling the same clothes. The board walks are rooted in most places, including where you need to walk. There are a few goats and rabbits in cages that look so sad. The place is in a serious state of disrepair. Many years ago I would image this would be a busy, bustling market. Now it’s beyond repair and not safe for visiting

This "floating market" is in such bad condition I would think it to be an embarrassment to the local tourist association. It's built around a small lake full of large fish , feeding the fish was the only thing of value to the complex. The entire structure is built of wood and is in danger of collapse , in fact a few of the spots are blocked off to access. While walking you spend a good part of the time looking at the walkway to keep from falling through. I would discourage parents from bringing small children , but if you must , keep a close eye on them because potential for injury is everywhere on the structure. I feel sorry for the goats and rabbits kept there in cages , I'm hoping they are removed in the evening and put somewhere more comfortable. The ticket man at the entry was totally unfriendly as I paid my 50 baht they charge farangs. The few vendors selling mainly tee shirts are friendly enough , but I don't see how they make any money. I can't be sure , but I'm guessing the only reason this firetrap is open for business is corruption somewhere along the business food chain. My opinion to others , unless you are curious to see damage beyond repair , don't waste your time or baht.

Unfortunately covid has wiped this place out . As others have said it was good when first opened. The picture's of animals , food restaurants etc are totally out of date. You could not bring your family there, its totally dangerous. Even the train track timbers are rotten and displaced. There is zero repairs and maintenance going on. I feel sorry for the few shop keepers that have stayed. The day we visited, myself and my wife were the only 2 people there. As for driving all the way out there and being asked for 50 bhat!? Thats crazy..

It is a total scam, and should have closed down altogether. Virtually all the shops inside were closed and most of the facilities were run-down and seriously broken. No sign of any effort to repair them. Entrance tickets of Baht 50 were however still sold at the entrance when we visited last week (mid December 2023). The operators were well prepared for people asking for refunds by showing a sign "No refunds". It's a shame that the local government should allow this to happen in this beautiful city.

Very sad to see this place dying... Deserted and almost empty. Only few stalls open... It's literally ghost town. Sorry for all these people who used to make a living out of it. My local guide told me once this place was packed with people and joy, now...😞

It's a very nice place, but most places are closed due to the wrong business policy, the workplaces here need us to stand up. It's a place worth visiting for them to stand. The prices of shops and restaurants are not very expensive for such a place.

Old world charm.. But sadly most of the market was closed in January,2023.. when we went there . But still it's a place one can go and explore, if you are first timer in Thiland.. As i was..😎 That small cafe was soothing in the middle of market.. Very good music , felt like the time has stopped... And deep calmness I felt there in that cafe..

With the best of intentions, I cannot recommend to visit this place which I really enjoyed before the pandemic. Sad to see to what extend it has been neclected.

We went mid week, early afternoon and were only customers there when arrived. Was sad to see so many units on boardwalk closed. No sellers in any boats. We left after 5 minutes, a few others arrived but left just as quickly.

Nice area tourist floating market over 70% of shops were closed the day we went (Sept 2022) only 2 stars

Special and different marked place with wooden boards around freshwater with lots of fish. You can feed animals like rabbits, goats and fish. But 75% of stands and food was closed, so don't give more than 3 stars. They have train for kids, but was also closed.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it's not operating at full capacity. The lunch was good and there are nice trinkets to purchase. 3 stars only because it's not fully open.

Went on a Monday afternoon. Not very crowded and very good for photo taking. Free entry for Thais and 200 baht for foreigners. There's the option for a train for boat ride but walking around the market is good enough. This place isn't too big and can be covered within an hour. There are a few noodle places and the price is okay for the taste/quantity of food.

Sadly the lack of customers due to Covid has seen most of the shops close and it is now in a state of dissrepair. Not worth visiting until much work is done to rejuvenate the entire market which looks unlikely soon.
