its a nice temple. its been a bit run down however the site is still very interesting as you have some of the best sea views from the temple. there are many animals (dogs, monkeys, chickens) however be very aware to not bring ANY food out as the monkeys do tend to chase you down for any food. this especially includes not letting your children hold any food as the monkeys will steal it from them.

(Translated by Google) The entrance is very narrow Lined with many seafood shops The temple is located on the hill Can drive up to The way up is not very high, a little steep, scary when driving down a lot of monkeys, but not fierce (maybe hahaha when going, it doesn't jump bite. Not jumping for things) did not walk to see the Quan Yin Lady by the sea because there were monkeys blocking the way If you want to invade alone, you are afraid of monkeys 🐒 Try it once (Original)

Costs 40.- per leg If you come with many people, you can try to negotiate the price. And let the car wait to get back Give time to walk to worship 1 hour. The monkeys are moderately but not fierce. Often snatches the food bag from the hand Suggest that if it contests The bag should be left to the monkey, otherwise it may get bitten.

Visited April 2022 Pros - nice views, souvenir shops at the base which could be nice for tourists, pretty architecture and sculptures, lots of monkeys - also ponies, pigs, chickens, roosters, dogs, and cats Cons - the main reason I'm giving 2/5 stars is the amount of trash. I was really shocked to see piles of garbage in between the temples. I expected the area to be better taken care of. Very disappointed and saddened.

This is my second visit to this place, and it has changed since my last visit 7 years ago. It seems to be more clean and not so many monkeys, as I can remember. There are some small souvenir shops and a long stairway leading up to the temple, which I did not take. Well, it's worth a visit if you like monkeys, but be careful they are quick to grab your food.

(Translated by Google) Here, compared to the mod 30 years ago. It's completely wrong. Both sides of the road to build houses and condos look very crowded. A shame that the temple surrounding are in need of repair and a good clean up,it gives the religious site a very run down picture. The people are very friendly and helpful the monks always have a smile. Just one thing, the monkeys rule there so watch out for your belongings or they are gone ... they are watchful 24/7

Wonderful location right by the sea and if you climb the steps to the Temple building you get great views of Hua Hin. Beware of the thieving macaques, they're everywhere, particularly along the road down to the shrine on the seafront. But these monkeys seem to have a peaceful coexistence with the stray dogs here which are not aggressive. Some stalls in front of the steps upto the Temple where you can buy a few things.

Very nice temple on top of a hill overlooking Hua Hin. The temple is kind of small but the surroundings and the view make a great experience of the visit. Many monkeys all around and on the stairs during the way up to the temple. The view on the bay is pretty stunning. There is a nice golden Buddha statue. Give it a try, worth the short trip from the city (10-15 min by motorcycle). Nota bene: you can find what locals consider the best seafood restaurants just before going up that hill.

Monkey mountain is home to some very very cheeky monkeys who will pinch your food out of your hands if you are silly enough to pull it out in front of them! The mountain is also home to an amazing temple and live in monks. If you’re int reconnecting with the planet, souls searching or just looking for somewhere beautiful to appreciate, this is a great place to start

Nice walk of about 35 min on the beach to reach this place from our hotel (Amari). There are monkeys and cats around the temple. The monkey even went on the beach. You can take the stairs up for the temple, but dress properly. I didn't went further because i was wairing shorts. Nice small place to visit and take pictures if you are around

It's a nice temple on a hill at the end of Hua Hin beach. There are so many monkeys on that hill, they also go down to the beach to enjoy some wind crabs and to beg for food from people. The view is nice, could be better from the very top, which is unfortunately off limits. The best part of it is really just observing the hordes of monkeys interacting with each other and the environment.

This is a smaller temple. It has been set-up as a little souvenir market and has a variety of tourist shops. The temple itself is not so spectacular but the views are very nice. Many of the items I looked at were expensive compared to other temples in the area.

Lots of monkeys and roosters. Went in the evening, a bit too empyy and could be cleaned more, but i think the monkeys make that very difficult

Great views, and the fishing port and seafood restaurants on the way up the hill are fantastic. But before there were 100s of monkeys and you can feed them, but now maybe a dozen and you cant

A little out of the way but worth the journey. Beautiful temple overlooking ocean. Lots of monkeys and dogs around but no bother. Stop for a coffee outside the red 'Lucky Door' gate and check out the beautiful sea shells

The scenery is spectacular, the temples are nice but need maintenance. The visit is OK, the area is a bit derelict but the real problem is the monkeys. They are everywhere and seem to be starving: during the ten minutes that lasted my visit, they had torn and eaten part of my scooter's seat! Be very careful when you come in the area...

Went for a drive out here to have a look, turns out we came here about 6 years ago.lots of monkeys, don't feed them.o remember last time they sold food for people to feed them ,and I saw one person get mobbed. I think they have got wise to that .some really good views of the ocean and local coast plus all the statues.

Small temple perched on the hill in Takieb. As with a good majority of the temples in Hua Hin, it has magnificent ocean views north to the city. The monkeys are always a problem. Be vigilant, nearly lost my mobile to one and they are not friendly.

This temple is all the way up a hill. When you want to enter, you'll need to climb pretty steep stairs. When you are up there, it provides a very beautiful view of the Gulf of Thailand. It's a must visit when in Hua Hin.

Lovely temple to visit. Not much to say here but I wish it was maintained better. Other than that some beautiful views of the city and beautiful temple and statues. And there is a little shop there for souvenirs which had lots of nice item which were moderately priced. Overall nice and experience and I do recommend going if you are in Hua Hin.

Enjoyed walking up and around but didn’t take many pictures as there were loads of monkeys eyeing us. Lovely views of the beaches in both directions.

It's a bit run down but it has a certain charm, and we really enjoyed this unique place. There are monkeys everywhere and they are not scary or aggressive at all. There is a great souvenir shop with lots of really well priced souvenirs. We are really glad we came here, it was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed it too.

Temple on the top of the mountain. After reaching the top, you can see the panorama of the city and the view of the bay. The temple itself is quite small and not particularly ornate. Unfortunately, the presence of a very large number of monkeys can make your visit difficult, especially in taking pictures, because unfortunately they can be aggressive when they think that someone has something to eat.

Loved this place. Full of quirky additions. Part built into natural rock formation. The temple and huge Buddha on top is astounding. The view from up there is incredible and my personal tip is dont go to this region without watching the sunset from its peak. And hear the bells ringing out the day and in the night along with of course chanting from the monks in temple. Please, although no entry fee, make any donation possible regardless how small as every little helps.

interesting place with an incredible view. no problem driving a car / motorcycle all the way up. the place is basically completely abandoned and monkeys everywhere. The monkeys are peaceful so no problem. there are some sellers of various souvenirs up there. walk down past the warning signs that it is dangerous to walk there. which it is not if you use common sense. Well worth a visit, if not for the view.
