Today my family and I had a bad experience at the Hua Hin Zoo. Upon entering we paid 300 baht per adult and child free because they were 3 years old. The surprise was upon entering to see the state of the animals (hungry, thin) and the abandoned state of the facilities. Old facilities, bar closed, there was no crocodile show. No workers were seen at all on the premises. Only the girl at the ticket office and the girl at the entrance who collects the tickets. I do not recommend this zoo at all and I denounce from here the poor state of the animals and I hope the Hua Hin authorities will remedy it. This zoo is giving very bad publicity for how beautiful is Huan Hin.

This is a great Zoo!! Really cute little place. Lots of fun for the little ones and a good little getaway for a day, or half a day. You can rent bikes to roll through the place. They have, deer, birds, cows, horses, a huge owl, elephants and cheap to ride, 300 baht adults, 100 kids. A white lion, alligators, tortoise, baby pigs, goats, A cool traditional thai house at the end and a rest stop serving cold drinks, etc... The k8ds loved it and so did us adults. Good place, well worth a visit when chillin in hua hin. 👍👍

Thx Google maps ! A lot of driving maneuvers getting here 😳 yet still worth it. Crocodile Rock on the grass mound upon entering is great. There were12 of us three of which were 3,3& 7 year kids. They all jumped on the bicycles with sidecars ! Golf carts were welcome for most everyone to avoid the afternoon heat and also have a shady seat to rest .Enjoyed the buffalo ride, the deer, sheep and tortoise feedings. We made the 3:45pm Crocodile show featuring two fit/ brave trainers and one especially large croc with many others stealth lurking underwater nearby. A number of parrots, conures, and other engaging-chirping birds. Everyone leaves satisfied ,children, parents,Grandparents alike.

It's actually a really cool experience. We were prepared for the potential horror of seeing animals exploited, and well, it wasn't perfect by any means - but it was actually pretty good. Most of the Ani also were actually pretty healthy looking and surprisingly good enclosures. The golf carts are a Must. The crocodile show was unreal. Feeding all the animals are great. It was worth it :)

What a shame. I took no photos just felt regret for all the animals. Took my family here. They have never been to a zoo before. We all walked away feeling sad. The animals all looked so hungry and dirty. Lions was the first animal to see. 3 small chains, sat on a stand to take photos, all very thin and hot. Heartbreaking.

Sluggish, lonely, animals seem to lack care. Even the white lion that was supposed to be the protagonist looked very skinny. They were chained in place and looked weak. The animals here are commonly found, such as goats, sheep, pigs, horses, birds, chickens, deer. It is understood that this is a small zoo and may lack the budget. Lack of care But I want the animals' lives to be better. I feel sorry for them. It's not a fun place to go. Because there is only pity and depression. The animals look hungry and thin. There are no animal officials to take care of them properly. Entrance fee: Adults 180, small children free. The cost to rent a golf cart is 300 / 400. You really don't have to rent it because you can walk. Just a short walk and it's all over. But the weather is extremely hot. So I think I should rent it.

(Translated by Google) Admission fee is 150 baht per person. But there are many animals to watch The animals that show the cows, goats, and sheep are closed. Waste of time. People who take their children to see the zoo. There is a cost to look after, but if there is not enough power to find more animals, then close it like being tricked.

It's more of a farm than a zoo, and I think the owner should make it completely a farm instead. Lots of free running chicken, ducks, and sheep. Furthermore there are rabbits, pigs, birds, fish, deer, and horses in randomly placed cages. Additional exotic animals are turtles, a white lion, and elephants. One can feed all of the animals buying a basket of food. The overall state is old except for the renovated entrance. In my opinion the animals suffer, lack food and a natural environment, and are not treated well. The elephants are showing all signs of boredom and should be released to a proper sanctuary immediately. The baby elephants feed are tight together with chains so it cannot run at all. If possible don't go there, better visit Swiss Sheep Farm, Malai Farm, any elephant sanctuary, or even Hua Hin Safari.

Not very enjoyable to see many animals treated unwell... they have two white lions on chains that are used for pictures and show. They are living a really bad quality of life. Also many of there animals are skinny... they also charge 300 baht for an adult but not much is available to do. The crocodile show looks like torture for the crocodiles. Would not recommend... there are other great options to see animals in the area.

I am British, so it's not surprising that I have a reasonably strong sense of fairness. Visited Hua Hi Zoo today with my Thai partner, her son and granddaughter. Basic price for Thai people 250 baht, 150 baht for child. They asked to see my passport, then told me it would cost me 900 baht. I don't like zoos much anyway, so was happy to wait outside with my partner, but I hate this practice which in our case proved financially counter productive for the zoo.

Terrible place. 80% of the Zoo is not functioning. Animals absent, only chickens walking around. lol. If you want to pay 300 THB per person to look at the chickens you are welcome:) No visitors, no money, no investments. This place is just falling apart. Better just close it completely.

Mini a zoo near Hua Hin. It's located in the middle of farm place. Zoo itself is still incomplete in some parts. There were a lion, deer, sheep, birds, peacock, horse, elephant, turtle, crocodile and Buffalo. Good size zoo for little kids.

It is horrible. I would suggest to come to help animals to survive. They don't feed them. They don't care about them. They are thin and sick and they are starving. They are fighting for food. We would like to close this place. Can anyone recommend where we can apply any petition about this place?

Adult 250 BAHT, kids under 12 150 BAHT. You can feed almost all animals. Near the entrance you can feed baby bunnies and baby dears. Take some fresh chicken and you can feed crocodiles)))) Other food you can buy at the entrance. Nice place to visit.

This place should be closed as soon as possible and the animals relocated somewhere that can actually care for them and not just exploit them for photo opportunities for people who clearly have no regard for the animal's happiness or wellbeing. How people can't see how sad the animals' lives are is beyond me. Close this place.

Quiet good place for family outing. Stuffs are very friendly. Thought u pay 250 bath for adults and 150 bath for kids, but it’s reasonable. U can spend your hole day here as outing spot. Because all the animals here are harmless and friendly. Kids will love it.

I do not recommend at all! We paid 300 bath per adult, which, given the state of the zoo, is very, very expensive! The animals and the enclosures are in a deplorable state. The conditions are not at all OK for these poor animals (the poor white lion is kept alone in a concrete enclosure that is much too small for him. He is awake so that people can take photos with him.....) Go on your way.... Only positive point: The staff was very pleasant

I want to help each other travel a lot. They will help each other to feed the animals. It looked very hungry and it would take a lot of money to make it fat. Cute rabbit and fat pig But the horse looks hungry. I'd like to sell the grass too so I can buy it for them to eat. Right now there are only carrots. It's not easy to get full. There is also a crocodile show. Overall, it was fun. My son really liked it.

Very basic small zoo but as a young family of 5 we had a great time. Can hire a golf cart to drive around in. 100baht for a basket of food to feed the animals. If your looking for exotic animals this might not be for you but as a simple interactive few hours with a load of free roaming animals. This is it. White lion and crocodile show was an experience. The elephant was pregnant when we visited so we didn't get to feed or see. Overall worth a short visit.

The sat nav had a bit of trouble getting us there. Stonehenge at the entrance! There is not a lot to see there apart from the crocodile show. I felt sorry for the lions, cooped up in very small dark cages.

More like a farm. This place is maintained minimally and most animals are skinny. Hopefully more visitors would come and result better welfare for the animals. Else the farmer owner should consider alternative.

  • 3/5 Preeyakorn P. 2 years ago on Google
If they could better maintain and do proper basic marketing, it wouldn't be too tough to become a educational destination in Huahin. It's only 15 minute drive from the city center. Google map may not lead to a proper route to the zoo. There's very few public signage along the way. Admission is 100 Baht. You'd see very minimal active staff around the zoo. It'd be kind of self-exploration indeed.

My granddaughter was disappointed with the zoo. She is nearly 6 and was expecting some Safari animals but except for the crocodiles, deer and birds it was more like a farm with horses, cows, pigs, sheep and ducks. Terrible place, animals are super thin and aren’t well fed. Live pigs were being fed to the crocodiles. All the animals are in tiny cages and aren’t in the right environment. Ticket price for foreigners were 300 for adults and for Thais it’s 180. You could buy some animal food. A bike rental is 50 and the golf carts are 400 baht for an hour. Most of the animals were standing on concrete and the ones that aren’t were standing on dirt. They have a pit of crocodiles and live pigs running around for food around it, one bad step and they’re going to fall in. The cows are in sunny concrete blocks and don’t get let out. The birds are in extremely small cages and have no space to fly. The white lions are tied down and are sitting on concrete blocks and you’ll get charged 200 baht per photo. This place is horrible, cruel for the animals, and over priced. Don’t come here, go to wildlife and friends sanctuary where they actually care for these animals unlike the money hungry owners of this Zoo. ( while walking around i didn’t see any Zoo keepers at all, everything was a mess and the conditions are terrible) Avoid this place unless you want to feel bad for the animals and get ripped off

It's like a deserted zoo with nothing..the only wow factor is the lion..take a photo with Nong Geb 200฿ Chorakae said that there are shows all the time, like an abandoned well. Messy walking area It's a shame, it's 180฿ per person. Rental cars are expensive..everything is expensive. Very bad. Before going in, I said that there are a lot of people who are honest and constantly show off. Very disappointed
