this
hostel
is
run
by
the
perfect
little
accommodation
couple.
One
likes
to
play
games
(mostly
board
games),
the
other
likes
to
watch
movies.
And
the
mother..
well...
she’s
on
higher
spiritual
plane.
:p
the
hostel
is
surprisingly
hot,
especially
since
i
had
just
come
from
camping
for
most
of
my
trip.
Every
common
area
would
need
a
fan
to
become
livable,
otherwise,
mosquitos
will
come.
The
roof
was
unfurnished,
and
the
sofa
on
the
second
floor
didn’t
have
a
fan,
so,
that
leaves
the
room
and
the
first
floor.
the
dorm
room
has
4
beds,
no
windows,
and
absolutely
freezing
cold
air
conditioner
(unfortunately,
my
roommate
was
a
cold
cold
European).
parking
is...
chaotic.
A
car
is
surely
impossible
during
the
night,
but
a
motorcycle
can
be
parked,
you
just
have
park
before
the
night
market
begins,
otherwise...
well..
you
can
take
a
stroll
with
your
motorcycle.
:p
Also,
there
are
about
6
or
more
dogs
that
can
pee
on
your
motorcycle,
every
night
(yes,
6
or
more
dogs,
owned
by
the
lady
next
door).
If
you
have
saddle
bags,
i
don’t
think
it’s
safe
place,
as
i’ve
seen
one
shady
guy
pass
by
several
times..
there
is
a
key
deposit.
i
forgot
that
idea
still
existed!
:/
at
around
300
baht
(post-covid
re-opening),
it’s
not
quite
Ko
Phangan
/
Pai
price,
but
it’s
possible
Hua
Hin
has
become
expensive,
as
every
other
business
shut
down.
mentioning
covid,
this
isn’t
exactly
the
safest
location...
:3
the
male
manager
(/owner?)
is
super
friendly
/
amiable.
I
had
a
sorta
emergency,
in
that
i
needed
a
place
to
stay
to
use
as
an
address
to
extend
my
visa.
He
helped
by
answering
a
phone
call
and
writing
a
letter
from/to
the
immigration
worker.
It
all
worked
out
fine,
all
thanks
to
him!
Though
he
was
busy
“working”
(playing
some
crypto
game,
lol)
at
the
time,
we
were
able
to
get
one
board
game
in.
He’s
possibly
the
friendliest
and
most
helpful
hostel
manager
i’ve
encountered
in
Thailand!!
His
partner,
on
the
contrary,
was
stuck
looking
at
screens
(either
youtube,
tv,
or
movie)
so..,
i
couldn’t
really
communicate
well
with
her,
beyond
watching
a
movie
with
her.
:/
maybe
that
is
the
covid
life??
loll
anyway,
though
a
little
expensive
for
me
at
the
time,
i’m
very
thankful
for
the
visa
help.
Eventually,
one
gets
tired
of
the
trash
‘n
smells
‘n
sounds
of
the
night
market
and
those
dogs..,
and
even
the
decaying
city
(where’s
the
beach?).
It’s
quite
the
experience
(great
for
backpackers!),
a
good
place
to
explore
the
city
from,
but
not
a
place
to
stay
long-term,
nor
for
peace.
