As you enter Devasom Hua Hin, there is a deep seated familiarity as the guard welcomes you. From the bellboys, to housekeeping and restaurant staff you feel like you're visiting your wealthy grandma's colonial inspired home with meticulous attention to detail. The beach Villa is very well appointed with a porch and rocking chairs that allow you to unwind as the sea caresses your vision. The setting is extremely romantic for couples. In fact, there is a heart shaped tree in the middle the property. How ironic? The food at the restaurant for breakfast hide a decent variety with many local Thai favorites. This is by far the best boutique property we have visited in Hua Hin to date.

My partner and I have travelled a fair bit around Thailand and we both agreed that this is one of, if not the best boutique resort we have ever stayed in. if you are looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet to relax for a few days it's hard to imagine anywhere that could be better. From the beautiful property itself to the staff who are wonderful. It's a little far from town (although they do have a regular shuttle bus) so probably not ideal for those who want to go out partying, but if you're looking for peace and quiet I can highly recommend Devsaom resort. Best of all, there were no screaming kids running everywhere, just other singles and couples looking to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, wonderful food and hospitality. Lovely small resort with Thai colonial decoration. With 24 units included 10 cottages. Staffs were friendly. The resort opened for about 11 years now with well maintenance and clean. The signature here was the big tree with the heart shape in the middle of the court. The hotel located between Sheraton and Dusit. The entrance quite challenge with the tiny street. The size of the room quite big. All rooms with balcony and bathtub. Not much parking space. Lots of mosquitoes especially at the dinning room. Not much Line food for the breakfast. The child above 5 years old will be charged 400 baht extra for the breakfast (so expensive). The room rate about the same as Hyatt Regency and Marriott. Consider pricey with the limited facilities and not much activities. The beachfront here not too smooth compared with the Dusit. Overall so far so good.

We enjoyed our stay at Devasom Hua Hin very much. The atmosphere is great, everything is clean, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with many choices. Bedroom was spacious with nice balcony from where you can see sea and the garden at the same time. We also had a nice dinner which was very good too! We definitely recommend this place to everyone who wants to spend some time in Hua Hin!

Perfect area so quiet 👍🏼 very nice room at beachfront😍 staff so nice n helpful. Perfect service. Bed n pillow so soft we have a very very nice sleep. So happy to be there 100% we will return one day

Thai colonial style hotel. Parking space was not big. Staffs were superb and breakfast was also good. This tiny and cozy hotel was really worth to stay in for the couple or family.

Just like travelling back to the early 90's. All the villas and the main building are vintage including staff's uniform. Excellent for couples seeking for quiet and peaceful vacation. Good breakfast, loved their Penne pesto sauce! Great restaurant with several Michelin awarded menus also great authentic Thai dishes that hard to find elsewhere. Overall, "the beachfront villa", a marvelous quiet and peaceful vacation destination for laying around, enjoying the surroundings, watching the beach in the bed, looking at sunset in our day-bed.

The most relaxing, laid back resort you could imagine for. Peaceful, super friendly staff and fantastic food. We stayed on our honeymoon with our little one and couldn't have wished for anything better.

This is a really nice and comfortable boutique resort. The compound is not huge, but it has style and quiet. A nice lawn in the centre, with a swimming pool and a heart shape tree. The beach is pretty small though, with only rocks during high tide. The room are nice, big and comfortable. With a nice bathroom with a beautiful bathtub, and also a comfortable balcony with lounger. And yes, the mini is well stocked and free (no alcoholic drink). The breakfast is pretty enjoyable as well. This is one of the most comfortable stay during our Thailand trip.

A great Romantic getaway for new wed or anniversary celebration. Secluded hideaway, peaceful and quiet. Also means it's 20min drive from the city centre where the malls are. But you can always call for Grab.

An amazing place. Staff so helpful and welcoming. Rooms so clean and comfortable. I am celiac and they were able to do me lots of gluten free meals. I did give a copy of my Thai diet card to the staff and they talked through many options. We have had such an amazing stay we would definitely come back

This could so easily have been a 5 Star review but both check in and check out let them down, badly in the latter case. On arrival, after a tiring flight and 3.5 hour taxi drive from BKK, we were ushered into a nice room adjacent to reception for a much appreciated Welcome Drink. This took well over 10 minutes to arrive just before they came to escort us to our villa. So after one hasty sip, the rest was left untouched. Perhaps they could have brought the drinks to our villa so we could actually enjoy them? They told us of several guest benefits including a complementary cocktail at around 6pm. We were going out one evening and we were waiting for a taxi so they suggested we took our cocktails whilst we sat there. As neither of us drink alcohol we asked to see the mocktail choice and were given the Drinks List. We selected two (neither of which were very good). At check out they had a charge of over 400 bht for those two mocktails on the bill and tried to tell us that it was only a choice of three alcoholic cocktails that were complementary. So by not drinking their alcoholic choices we were charged. They then argued this point with me unable to see that they were saving money by using no alcohol in our drinks and how discriminatory this was. Phone calls were made, people summoned who again argued with us. What a great way to finish our three nights through which they made about 28,000 bht from us. I had posted on IG about how lovely the beachfront villa and location were, and two friends, one in Thailand and one in the UK, expressed a wish to stay there possibly with me later this year. That’s not going to happen obviously. So that’s probably another 10 nights accommodation lost all for a 400 bht penalty for us being tee total. What a strange way to treat guests who had been staying in your most expensive room. They did credit the 400 eventually but the damage was done. It proves that even if the accommodation and location are lovely (which they are), if the customer service is lacking and you argue with guests then it spoils everything in a second. Such a shame.

We had a great time at Devasom Hua Hin. Staff were all very friendly and the hotel itself was amazing! The heart shape tree is what makes it different and unique from other hotels. I also spent my birthday at Devasom and the staffs prepared a Birthday cake for me in the evening. And I wasn't expecting anything at all!

What a charming boutique hotel! The hotel and its room is artfully designed, and decorated with attention to details. The food and service is top-notch as well. We loved it. Room tips: The hotel is obviously very popular among Thais as well. The place was fully booked when we stayed there. So if you prefer a bit more privacy I'd suggest you choose the corner rooms (e.g. Room 21) on 2nd or 3rd floor of the main building instead of the pool villas. The view to the sea is partially blocked but definitely a lot more hidden away. The room rate is lower too! Also don't forget to request for mosquito spray from staff.

Stayed here for 2 nights, felt very very relaxed. Staffs are all very helpful and friendly. The resort is located at 10km from Hua Hin busy area, it’s easier to use grab or there’s shuttle service at certain times. Breakfast buffet is yummy if you enjoy eating Asian food in the morning like I do. Not many rooms here so it’s very quiet and peaceful and not crowded when using the beachfront swimming pool.

High-end discreet luxury, a hidden gem. From the moment you enter the hotel you feel at home. They make you feel welcome. The style off the hotel is exquisite. Well maintained, very clean. On the beach. Tranquil, peacefull, no noise. Spacious luxury room with seaview. Superb breakfast en food. Best of all is the staff : They pamper you. Also the owner greats you everyday.

I took my mother to Devasom for a short break, we stayed 2 nights on weekdays. I really love this place ..beautiful resort , Very clean and spotless room. Room was spacious, bed was very comfortable. Everything the room had a lot of detail, Nespresso machines, Bluetooth speaker and many things that made my stay was enjoyable. The garden was lovely , closed to the beach… I even enjoyed the music background . My mother is quite fuzzy eating but she enjoyed the breakfast and she kept telling me grilled pork skewers were delicious 😄. I am glad I took mum there and I am glad I was there. I definitely go back and stay here again. Only one thing a bit annoyed me was our room is on level 2 we can hear footsteps above us and also noise came through the wall . Thank you for made our trip was memorable.

Refined luxury on the beach. Beautiful main building resembling a villa, attention to detail with flower arrangements and pastle shades. Great for romantic breaks and honeymoon packages.

Super Duper Excellent . It was one of our best experiences so far. Be it the Front Office Staff, the housekeeping staff, the F&B Staff or even the security, everyone was very courteous, polite and great at their work. Exceptional Value for money. Welcome drinks on our arrival, the drinks next day, the breakfast, room size and decor (Villa # 5), the ammenities, the nice & cozy pool, the antique feeling attached to the beach... everything was super awesome. The owner of the resort came to us on the 1st day and greeted us and took our feedback. God Bless everyone at Devasom. You guys are the best who do every possible efforts keeping the guests happy and super satisfied. I also would like to really/specially thank the Front office check in staff and the Chef at the restaurant. Love you guys, Keep it up and God Willing, we will see you again.

Devasom is a boutique colonial styled hotel in Hua Hin. The hotel is pretty small, but is beautiful. We did not stay at the hotel, but dropped to the venue to try the restaurant on site that overlooks the pool, sea, and a heart shaped tree(breathtaking view). The restaurant serves dishes ala carte. The menu has a wide selection of Thai dishes, international selections, and some dessert and drinks(afternoon tea). The Thai dishes that we ordered was delicious, and there small details that elevated the dishes. Highly recommended!

I am very pleased to have chosen Devasom Resort as my accmodation during my stay in Hua Hin. Though the resort is small but is extremely comfortable. Super spacious bedroom with a very beautiful pool. Couple of steps will bring u to the beach. The place is peaceful and quiet. If you don't like to travel around you can also just stay in the resort to laze around the whole day. The staffs here are very friendly and helpful. The only thing that might be missing from perfect is language. But not a big deal cos they have everything you can think of ready. Breakfast is very good too. I will highly recommend Devasom.

One of the best relaxing weekday away trips from Bangkok city. Will definitely come back. Very peaceful accommodation with very well-designed of vintage beach front villa we stayed. Room was very clean and facility was detailed and functional. All staff have been so friendly and service minded. Everything seemed to be good taken care of. Music choice in the restaurant was outstanding and well selected for each period of the day. Thank you. :)

Weekdays or weekends, this resort is a wonderful place to relax yourself from your busy schedule. The hotel is well maintained, the staff is very helpful and the owner is really nice. I saw them attending to every detail. The view from here is spectacular and the beach is very clean and very few people. If you are staying here, you shouldn't even think about missing the sunrise. It's spectacular. The pool is very well maintained. The food from the restaurant is really good for steak and grilled fish options. In the breakfast buffet I really loved egg Benedict. There is a very well arranged room near lobby with lot of vintage collection with gramaphone and telescope. I particularly enjoyed the small book collection. Really enjoyed my stay here.

The room, the service, the staffs, the location are all 5 stars. The only concern here is the amount of insects especially at night, the balcony will be full of insects, if you leave the light on, more insects will come and play with the light. Our stay was pleasant, the room service was fast and very attending staffs.

What a wonderful amazing resort! Have a private beach in front of the villa. Good services with high quality of food, there’s many varieties of Western and Thai food with affordable price. I loved grilled salmon. The staffs were very nice and friendly. I’d recommend this place to spend time with family and friends.
