We stayed for 1 night as a couple in July 2023. We asked to see the rooms before booking. At first we thought we would pay the extra for a deluxe room but when we saw it we noted that the side window was very dirty and so the extra view was null. So then it was just a slightly larger room and tea/coffee facilities. We decided to take the superior instead. The centre windows in this room (9011) were clean but the ones on the side were still dirty. The view is good, you are back from the beach a little bit but you still have a pretty good perspective from your room. The room itself is a bit old tired and basic but we expected that before arriving and we felt for the price we paid (900/n) it was completely adequate. The gym is very basic and small, the one treadmill is old and small as well but does work, albeit quite noisily. The pool is old style but still nice with a small kiddy pool and a spa but I don't think the bubbles work. The cons to the hotel is that you have to cross the busy road to access the beach and there isn't really a public road nearby to take you down to the beach, you have to walk a couple hundred metres to reach one. We did end up ducking through the hotel directly opposite where you cross the road and no one said anything but we did feel like interlopers. The hotel does offer a shuttle service to the beach but we didn't use it. Next door to the hotel in the evenings a number of pop up bars, cafes and restaurants open, often with some live music as well which is really nice. Also a pool table there. Just around corner is a 711, massive Tops supermarket (with restaurant, prepared meals with microwave, cafe and indoor air con seating) and also a liquor store with lovely indoor and outdoor seating. About 500 metres away is the Village Market mall, which is good for many reasons but especially The Street food style basement food court with cheap and delicious meals. The superior room also didn't come with a hairdryer or tea/coffee, kettle or tea cups. While I know we were only paying 900, I still think tea/coffee facilities should be standard. To the hotel's credit when we asked for these things they did readily provide them. The other issues we had was that the shower didn't really provide warm water. When you pulled the knob to send the water to the shower instead of the bath tap, it instead seemed to send all the cold water to the shower and the warm water still came out the bath tap. We didn't complain about it so the hotel may have been able to fix it or change us to a room with a better shower. The other issue for me is that in our room there was a wifi router mounted in the ceiling with a bright green light that really illuminated the room at night. I'm someone who needs a dark room to sleep well. Normally when this happens I can drape a towel or something over the light but because it was on the ceiling I couldn't. Ultimately we had a pleasant stay and certainly if there were no other options or our budget was a hard 900 a night we would consider staying there. However, we opted to pay a bit more and stay somewhere else instead

Overall, well worth the price. Room is great. Better than many hotels in Cha-Am Hua-Hin area. Got the sea view room in the high floor even without situated right next to the beach. The swimming pool is large and cleaned. The hotel is about one km walk to the beach. Also one km from the hotel to the town centre where the night market is. However, the area that could be improved is the breakfast. The cold fried egg and a bit undercooked prawn in the porridge could be made better. If this could be improved, this place will be even more welcoming. Staffs are nice and helpful from the security guard, the reception to the staffs at the restaurant. Check in check out was very quick.

Hua Hin Grand Hotel is a pretty big building. I thought the price would be more, but we only spent 1,300 baht, included breakfast. If no breakfast, the room would be 1,100. The cleanliness is good. The staff service is nice. The food is good. The location is good. From the hotel, it is a walking distance to the beach and the night market. It is about 10-15 minutes walk. If you do not want to walk, ask the front desk to get a tuk tuk for you. Tuk tuk from the hotel to the night market is only 100 baht. All pricing is reasonable. Prices as of January 2023.

Pros: Great breakfast, beautiful view of the sea, attentive staff, central location, clean and comfortable room with a decent bathroom. Cons: Cozy but dated property, spotty WiFi at times and a nightclub within the grounds blasts music so loud we had to wait till they closed at 2am to get some quality sleep. For that reason, we probably won’t return.

Pros: - Clean swimming pool of a good size - Reasonably friendly staff - Reasonably good location (near simple night market where you can get local food and near main road / central) - In-room dining is considered cheap - Near 7-11 Cons: - Corridor and general amenities is a bit old (lobby and in-room seem okay) - Do not even think of getting into the gym Overall, with the price this is a very worth it if you are not looking for something high class. I enjoy my stay. EDIT: I have to minus one star because she cleaned my room when I put “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door.

Home a decent size. Shower gel and shampoo. No tea facilities. Frustrating that no socket near bed. I always carry an ext for that reason! Small fridge but on a door card. Strangely with a bit of wind the hotel howls quite loudly. This happened earlier in year too. So its a feature.. breakfast was decent all in price 1300bhat

Good place for vacation, close to beach, market and everything. Needs little improvement to add vegetarian breakfast too. Overall it's the best. I would love to visit again and again. It's the best... Hotel, reasonable price in comparison with other hotel. Good service. Enjoyed staying at Hua Hin Grand Hotel. Good luck... ☘️☘️

Excellent service, luggage comes up fast, great view of the beach and the sea from my room. Complete room, good work, love it!! The crazy noise from the streets other people have been talking about are not bad if you picked a good room. Staff are excellent and kind. Near the beach, many restaurants nearby(walking distance) and a tops supermarket and seven eleven nearby. There is a HUGE pool. Foreigners and locals alike come here. My room even got an extra bed! Hotel looks good. Overall, excellent hotel!!

This hotel is kind like old style but it's very well maintained. Pro: - Very clean. Everything is spotless. - No insects or mosquitoes. - Spacious room. - Very reasonable price. - Breakfast buffet is ok, though not a lot of choices, it's delicious. - Walking distance to a lot of places including night market, 7-11, Tops market, Market Village with super cheap food court. - They also allowed us early check-in around 11 AM which is very kind of them. Cons: - No bedside plug to charge your phone. - Aircon control is built into the wall so you will have to get up to adjust temperature. - TV is small. - Internet is slow with unreliable connectivity. - Walking distance to the beach but there's no crosswalk on the main street so it's a bit dangerous. There are private properties between hotel and the beach so you will have to walk around for about 10 mins to get to the beach.

The only problem I had that would clean the pool with a portable filter so there's electricity cable going around the pool very unsafe because water and electricity mixes very well

The hotel is just opposite of river side of hua hin. The hotel view is slightly nice and food is good. Staffs are also good. It has a open place where a team can do any event, also they have a hall room for meeting or conference. Overall 8out of 10.

Really nice hotel.Good size rooms and very clean .Staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the noise from the bar outside was excessive at the weekend and would put me off staying again sadly.

Good but not great. Multi storey building with all rooms facing the sea. No tall buildings in front obstructing the view except maybe the very low floors. Rooms are spacious and clean, but they don't have balconies. The building is old but kept in good condition. The rooms are partly renovated (floors, hot water boilers, tvs and new A/Cs) and freshly painted. Missing plugs near the beds, which is expected for the time the hotel was built). Fantastic shades which block the sunlight (this is rare and a big problem in many hotels) with stickers on the side to attach on the wall. Keep in mind that you get old fashioned keys and NOT cards for the doors. Bathrooms look very dated but they are spacious and practical so I had no complaint. Renovated ground floor, big and spacious restaurant (ground floor), breakfast has good variety for this price and star category (3*) and is replenished immediately. Very big outdoors pool on the 2nd floor, and next to it comes the gym. Towels given for the beach and the pool. The gym is small butbit is very deasently equiped with everything you need for a complete workout. My only complaint Wich often happens with hotels gyms is the lack of heavy weights for tihose more advanced in bodybuilding but you've can't have it all while on vacation. One minus is that although you can see the beach on front of you (250m), it is not accesible because you have private property on front. You have to walk for 12-13' to the main entrance of Hua Hin beach, though this is the case for the majority of accomodations in the city. Internet connection (free WiFi) is excellent and the speed is great. Digital tv channels Thai, as well as many foreign ones. Safeboxes can be found at the reception (you get your own key) and not in the rooms themselves. All in all a quite big, aging but we'll maintained property, which I think u will enjoy without paying exorbitant amounts of 💰.

I stayed for 2 nights. Pros: 1. This hotel is ideal to watch the sunrise and the sunsets from hotel rooms. 2. There is Tops superstore and 7 eleven within 100 meters. 3. The hotel is located within walking distance of Hua Hin beach and market. 4. For party lovers, they have a pub within 100 meters. 5. They serve a great breakfast. 6. The staff is helpful. Not so good: 1. The rooms are design in older style. 2. The plug points (power sockets) are not located nearby the bed.

We love our stay here. We have breakfast buffet in the first day of our stay then the 2nd day and 3rd day we have a la carte breakfast which is still okay. The room was good, clean and spacious. We've stayed in the 12 floor with the room facing the sea and you can see the sunrise everyday. The location was good but not perfect because you need to cross and walk a little bit far to go to the beach. But still convenience since restaurant and shopping mal still in walking distance.

A lovely clean room with a good view of the sea.... I would have given it five stars, but they allow people to smoke outside the lifts, which is the only thing that I have to complain about.... The breakfast was nice with plenty of options....

Good location, close to Villa Supermarket and just opposite The Chocolate Factory, but not a beachfront hotel. A Sha+ hotel. Breakfast was good, with warm milk for tea -- a first of any hotel for me. Usual American buffet with Thai food as well. Standard room, clean enough. Clean barhroom.
