We
stayed
for
1
night
as
a
couple
in
July
2023.
We
asked
to
see
the
rooms
before
booking.
At
first
we
thought
we
would
pay
the
extra
for
a
deluxe
room
but
when
we
saw
it
we
noted
that
the
side
window
was
very
dirty
and
so
the
extra
view
was
null.
So
then
it
was
just
a
slightly
larger
room
and
tea/coffee
facilities.
We
decided
to
take
the
superior
instead.
The
centre
windows
in
this
room
(9011)
were
clean
but
the
ones
on
the
side
were
still
dirty.
The
view
is
good,
you
are
back
from
the
beach
a
little
bit
but
you
still
have
a
pretty
good
perspective
from
your
room.
The
room
itself
is
a
bit
old
tired
and
basic
but
we
expected
that
before
arriving
and
we
felt
for
the
price
we
paid
(900/n)
it
was
completely
adequate.
The
gym
is
very
basic
and
small,
the
one
treadmill
is
old
and
small
as
well
but
does
work,
albeit
quite
noisily.
The
pool
is
old
style
but
still
nice
with
a
small
kiddy
pool
and
a
spa
but
I
don't
think
the
bubbles
work.
The
cons
to
the
hotel
is
that
you
have
to
cross
the
busy
road
to
access
the
beach
and
there
isn't
really
a
public
road
nearby
to
take
you
down
to
the
beach,
you
have
to
walk
a
couple
hundred
metres
to
reach
one.
We
did
end
up
ducking
through
the
hotel
directly
opposite
where
you
cross
the
road
and
no
one
said
anything
but
we
did
feel
like
interlopers.
The
hotel
does
offer
a
shuttle
service
to
the
beach
but
we
didn't
use
it.
Next
door
to
the
hotel
in
the
evenings
a
number
of
pop
up
bars,
cafes
and
restaurants
open,
often
with
some
live
music
as
well
which
is
really
nice.
Also
a
pool
table
there.
Just
around
corner
is
a
711,
massive
Tops
supermarket
(with
restaurant,
prepared
meals
with
microwave,
cafe
and
indoor
air
con
seating)
and
also
a
liquor
store
with
lovely
indoor
and
outdoor
seating.
About
500
metres
away
is
the
Village
Market
mall,
which
is
good
for
many
reasons
but
especially
The
Street
food
style
basement
food
court
with
cheap
and
delicious
meals.
The
superior
room
also
didn't
come
with
a
hairdryer
or
tea/coffee,
kettle
or
tea
cups.
While
I
know
we
were
only
paying
900,
I
still
think
tea/coffee
facilities
should
be
standard.
To
the
hotel's
credit
when
we
asked
for
these
things
they
did
readily
provide
them.
The
other
issues
we
had
was
that
the
shower
didn't
really
provide
warm
water.
When
you
pulled
the
knob
to
send
the
water
to
the
shower
instead
of
the
bath
tap,
it
instead
seemed
to
send
all
the
cold
water
to
the
shower
and
the
warm
water
still
came
out
the
bath
tap.
We
didn't
complain
about
it
so
the
hotel
may
have
been
able
to
fix
it
or
change
us
to
a
room
with
a
better
shower.
The
other
issue
for
me
is
that
in
our
room
there
was
a
wifi
router
mounted
in
the
ceiling
with
a
bright
green
light
that
really
illuminated
the
room
at
night.
I'm
someone
who
needs
a
dark
room
to
sleep
well.
Normally
when
this
happens
I
can
drape
a
towel
or
something
over
the
light
but
because
it
was
on
the
ceiling
I
couldn't.
Ultimately
we
had
a
pleasant
stay
and
certainly
if
there
were
no
other
options
or
our
budget
was
a
hard
900
a
night
we
would
consider
staying
there.
However,
we
opted
to
pay
a
bit
more
and
stay
somewhere
else
instead
