Well, firstly, we loved the room, the food and the overall service was good. But I left this beautiful hotel feeling so disappointed. As a titanium member, we (I and my husband) got an upgrade and late checkout. What happened was.... on the checkout day, we got a phone call around noon telling us to leave. Well, that was so rude and unprofessional. It would have been more than okay and understandable if we hadn't received late checkout in the first place for whatever reasons. What the hotel did was so impolite. It's my birthday trip which was disappointing. We were presented interesting promotions and packages but I changed my mind because I was worried that my history would repeat itself.

Aug 2023. 3d2n stay. Anantara, heritage brand hotel, not a single disappointment throughout our stay. Pros: Heritage looking hotel, spacious lobby, friendly front desk, refreshing welcome drinks & snacks, complimentary breakfasts with good spread and lots of options, free parking space, happy hours at different lounges at different hours (so every hour can be happy hour!), fitness centre & a huge swimming pool, comfy beds & many beautiful gardens with lotus ponds, amazing spa services & a private beach! Areas to be improved: would appreciate USB ports made available in the rooms for charging, or provide wireless charging (to keep up with current technologies 😉), the cleanliness can be improved too especially the bath tub.. just my 2 cents.. Overall a very pleasant stay @ Anantara, would recommend to anyone visiting Hua Hin!

As I went to stay and have a dinner during beautiful sunset moment at the beach front, the atmosphere is quiet and very warmed welcome from the waitress, she is active at everything and every moment that she always take care for us to ask how was the foods and check the foods for us, there are few of mosquitoes, however we understand that may be because of the location where it has lots of trees. The room and the service are exceptional. It is valued for the money. We had an enjoyable stay with you all guys , the room and the facilities are well maintained and it is very good conditions for us Finally, this is best of the best to stay in Anatara where we have also stayed in other brand as well. See ya !!!

Stayed here for 5 nights and could not expect a better time. Check in and check out was a breeze. Food portions were great and prices are on par with the quality. Room were decorated in a nice traditional style. Dining and reception staff were friendly and helpful. Hotels grounds were maintained great. (though showing a bit of age) Beach not really meant for swimming though. We will definitely be coming back! If traveling with family, the dining by design is something you should definitely do! 🙂

The perfect hotel! What more can I say, a fantastic traditional Thai hotel. We have been coming to cha am and Huahin for many years, this is the first time at the Anantara. Right on the long sandy beach, 15 mins from the main town. The staff here are lovely, so helpful and always smiling. Beautifully kept rooms with outstanding maid service. I have to give a large thank you to Alex, who sits at the main reception desk. A very funny guy and incredibly knowledgeable. See him for any excursions as he can tailor them to your needs. Any issues you may have he can help with though to be fair, anyone in the reception area will too. Thank you also to Joy our room maid. A lovely lady who went above and beyond what we were expecting. The breakfast here is wonderful, so much choice. Restaurant staff are great. Too many to thank but I will mention a young lady called Build. Always looks so pleased to see you every day and waives enthusiastically each morning. It's a shame we left on her days off as we wanted to say goodbye. Brilliant all round. Can not fault our 2 week stay here. See you next year Anantara.

Very beautiful quiet place as always...we love to stay with Anantara because of their style of decor...great breakfast, so many fresh good selection. The pool is lovely, the beach restaurant has very nice ambience. The only thing that made me give 4 star for them is 2 blood stains on the bed sheet which I requested them to change it immediately. Otherwise, all the rest is perfect for a quiet holiday :) One more thing to add, they have a campaign to support elephant sanctuary which 1$ per day will be added to your bill. You can say No before paying if you don't want to be part of this campaign.

We booked this hotel for 8 days because we wanted to spend beach holidays after few days in Bangkok. But we were very disappointed when we came because there is no beach to walk or swim. We are not type of people to sit around the pool when we could spend day on the beach walking, running, swimming... If you want beachfront with sandy beach, then this place is not the right place. We consider hotel photos on the website for misleading for us because they dont show reality. Also , the hotel is far from the town center - about 20 minutes drive. We didnt like this fact because either you stay all day at the hotel which may be ok for someone but not for us or you have to drive every time 20 minutes to the center or beach and than 20 minutes back to hotel. So we went to the reception and asked to cancel our reservation. We had to stay there for one night because it was about 5 o´clock in the afternoon and we had to find another hotel for another 7 days for our holiday. Fortunately we made a agreement with hotel that we stay for one night and on the other day we could leave and they refund us money. This was great gesture from the hotel and we appreciated it. There were also another things we didnt like - there was rubbish around the restaurant ( some lids from the beer or something, plastic bottle in the sea...). We had a lunch after our arrival and it was not very delicious. Breakfast was much better I would say. I also didnt like the room - it was older, very , very humid and the smell from the bathroom was awful. And there were very thin walls so we could hear neighbors talking till the night. The best thing at this hotel was the staff and nice garden.

If you want beachfront with sandy beach, then this place is not for you. There is a beachfront but this is not swimable and mostly not walkable. You have good sea views and nice pool to compensate. The staff is very friendly. The style is Lanna Thai style and a bit older, however it is clean. The breakfast is good and other meals are fairly good. The staff are excellent. Shout out to Nam and Noc.

Excellent hotel. Let's cover the important points * Clean and spacious room ☑️ * Soft bed, thick comforter, and soft pillows ☑️ * Overlapping curtains to ensure pitch black room even during daylight ☑️ * Sound proof door ☑️ * Awesome breakfast ☑️ * Courteous and service minded staffs ☑️ Overall I love this hotel, lots of greens, ponds, fountains. There are several hammocks in the courtyard where you could relax under the trees listening to the waves. During our visit the weather was crystal clear so nothing but blue sky, white sand, and aqua marine water. Turn off your mobile, close your eyes, lean back and just enjoy the surrounding. During high tide, the water hitting the tide wall is a little murky but during low tide, the water is crystal clear and the beach reached about 150m into the sea. Lots of hermit crab, some clams, but not as much sea life as nearby Pranburi. Having lots of trees meaning there are lots of wildlife: squirrels, birds, lizards, and little critters. For me I love them, for others these sounds might be a nuisance. Excellent service, no matter where you go the staffs will greet you and ask if you need assistance or anything. 5 stars from me.

A typically polished Anantara resort, with the added advantage that the rates on offer are extremely reasonable. All personnel are friendly, knowledge and obliging. A special mention for Khun Alex and Khun Boom. Rooms are a reasonable size, but not as big as some in Thailand. That said, we spent three very comfortable nights in a room with sea view. Breakfast is the usual extravagant affair with excellent coffee. For the price, an excellent choice in Hua Hin.

This hotel is a true gem. We had a junior suite here, which comes with some benefits, including access to a different pool and afternoon snacks. The staff is wonderful, and always a step ahead. The gardens and lagoon are well maintained, and there are excellent restaurants on site. Overall a memorable stay. We had to move on to Khao Sok but wished we could have stayed longer.

One of my favorite places during my stay in Anantara Hua Hin . The room was beautiful, spacious, clean, and definitely 5-star quality. The resort itself was beautiful and staff was very nice. The breakfast was not the best, so we chose to eat off the resort. Otherwise, our stay here was amazing. Bed is comfortable, the balcony is spacious, all the features of the room are well kept. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Resort, great food, super friendly staff! We stayed here for about a week at the end of September 2022, in a lagoon suite. The room had a standard size but a very high ceiling and large terrace with ample seating, which was nice. Even though it is rather obvious that the resort isn’t the newest, the rooms and facilities are in great shape and well looked after. The suites come with access to the lagoon pool which is quite private. Also soft drinks are included throughout the day if you’re staying in a suite. Additionally there is an Happy Hour with cocktails and Canapés which we enjoyed a lot. I highly recommend upgrading to a suite since it comes with a lot of benefits and in our case, it wasn’t much extra. We also had room service a couple of times which we liked too. Some of the staff weren’t quite as fluent in English as we would’ve liked, but the order was always right and nothing got mixed up. Prices are very reasonable for this kind of hotel, expensive for local standards. The breakfast can get a little busy at peak times but the staff is very quick to seat and serve you. They also are very open to special requests like avocado which is available but not visibly on the buffet. The only downside to this resort is the beach. The beach access is limited and the overall beach area is small and kind of unfinished looking. This wasn’t a problem for us since we don’t like to swim in the ocean anyways. If you’re looking for a hotel with a bigger beach access and overall nicer beach, this might not be the one for you. We would definitely come here again though and had an absolutely great time.

I love the spa service with Thai traditional massage .Friendly stuff. Recommend for family vacation. The hotel has everything for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

I enjoyed my stay here! Everything was perfect! I booked the premium sea view room. Thank you for the good hospitality Alex & Nong May. Quick response by email and very kind to allow me for an early check in & late check out. They also provide Bible in the room. Thanks again!

Stayed there with family in the beach front room and was superb! The breathtaking view and amazing service from everyone makes me wanna come back ASAP! Front office staffs were very helpful, friendly and well organized for what you have asked for. My Dad&Mom really appreciate with the birthday surprise arrangement and those welcome amenities. I will definitely spend more than a night for next time.

Pros: The rooms are spacious and the outside area looks beautiful. The breakfast buffet has a wide range of dish options to choose from. Staff is pleasant. Cons: The hotel is old and that is very visible as it is losing its “luxury feel”. The beach is marked as “private” but no one swims there as the waves are quite high and there is no safe access to the beach. You can only walk on the beach during low tide but then it is dirty. The a la carte food doesn’t taste good and is very oily. My partner who never has digestive issues got severe food poisoning. We were only eating in a hotel, so it is a shame for the so-called 5 star resort. Also, we had a room near the beach and they decided to host a huge event with loud music etc., so there was so much noise in the room till late but the staff did not notify us in advance. They did, however, provide a replacement room until the event has finished, so we appreciated the hotel manager trying to smooth out the situation. Overall, we had very high hopes for Anantara as it has a strong brand heritage. However, the Anantara in Hua Hin does not provide the same quality and experience as in other destinations.

Classically Thai inspired. A gorgeous resort, gardens are lovely, attentive staff and amazing food make for a brilliant stay. The rooms are sumptuous and comfortable. We had a room right on the beach front which was fantastic. Plus they have Rocky the parrot who talks if given food. Highly recommended!!!

We were here from Friday to Monday and had a great experience! We stayed in one of the suites and so we got to enjoy the more secluded pool and free drinks, which was great. Our kids really enjoyed the main pool and there was a good mix of adults and kids and it didn't feel crowded at all. Plenty of food and drink options! The breakfast in the morning was also really great! Lastly, We got to enjoy a couple's massage thanks to the kids club at the hotel! We got to drop off our kids for an hour or two and we got to enjoy some alone time which was great. The kids room had toys and video games and they have crafts as well. Another note for kids, two nights that we were there, the hotel put on events for kids which included a movie night and a make your own cupcakes with music and art activities.

True resort, From design to service : Top Notch 👍👍👍👍👍 The wonderful staff made the trip even more pleasant . We travelled as family and we had a connection suite with another room with ocean view : Space layout , amenities and view wonderful . Not to forget the balcony on the ocean with its seatings (can accommodate 8-10 people) Breath taking Even there is plenty of beach seating for dinner and Kate night moon watching The Breakfast , lots of choices even accommodating for vegetarian and allergy sensitive people The service was good can only make you want stay longer and smile 😊 Even the Rocky greeting before reception will leave a good impression , let alone the staff and their manager 🙏🙏 making sure the stay will be enjoyable from the start Will come again for sure .

This hotels being my experience to another level. Mentioned at the reservation about my father's birthday next week, they brought us an surprise cake! Very generous. Hotel staffs are very friendly. Room are very clean and nice. Worth the price. Location is pretty good. 5mins to city center with a car. However, the beach is quite muddy. I think its because of the monsoon season but other than that, its perfect. Pools and facilities are wonderful. Totally recommended. Good for families.Oh, and dont forget to say Hi to Rocky the Macaw!!!

Fantastic resort. Staff are very accommodating and nice. Breakfast was lush and diverse. They even had a noodle cart. Grounds were well maintained with lots of activities for families. The only downsides were that the room did not have a locking bathroom so our kids love that, we did not.

Food & service is top notch, rivalled by Intercontinental. Stay: August 2020. The rooms are in traditional Thai village style, which isn't really my thing. The room interior is great though. However my family has a condo next to Anantara Hua Hin so this location didn't really impress me much. The drinks and food is amazing though.

Just had a very delightful in the beachfront room for 2 nights. The place is beautiful and very peaceful, great for someone looking to have a relaxing stay. All staffs were very nice and polite, Ochin was of great assistance and had taken good care of us. The only regret is we couldn't stay longer.

The room are clean and neat. But I need to wait a little bit after check in and I found a little bugs in my room so some point deducted. Other than that my stay was magnificent ☺️ all staff are friendly and helpful. I love the atmosphere and the vibe of this hotel.

The facility is aged, but still fits for Thai-style architecture. It simulates living in a Thai ancient village where tropical trees and lilly ponds are omnipresent. The services are excellent. Breakfast buffet is also very good. The beach is slightly less than perfect from smell of sewage in some area (not the hotel false). It was a relaxing experience staying here for a vacation.

I don't really like giving review but for "Anantara" I will. The resort is traditional aesthetically pleasing and Thai relaxing style with beach front, garden, and lagoon. I spent one day exploring the resort. The lagoon zone is amazingly beautiful. This is the land lost in time for your vacation. I would really recommend it for escaping your busy life and take a deep breath. Especially the staffs are polite and kind. Thanks for the Birthday's surprise. K.Fah/N.Gift and all staffs.

I was here for my best friend’s wedding handling by the resort team. K.Kim (ขิม) and the team were super proactive and professional. Highly recommend if you are looking for an amazing place to have your dream wedding. The bar was nice. The drinks were good.
