On
arriving
we
unpacked
and
went
out.
On
our
return
the
room
had
a
strange
and
unpleasant
smell
and
the
air
conditioning
didn't
work.
A
staff
member
was
sent
who
couldn't
fix
the
problem.
We
were
told
that
there
was
no
other
room
available
but
we
remained
assertive
in
a
polite
way
and
suddenly
an
upgraded
room
became
available
for
us,
so
at
mid
night
we
changed
rooms!
Overall
the
hotel
was
spotlessly
clean
and
all
staff
were
friendly.
Our
cleaner
on
the
fourth
floor
(
Bimbum)
was
extremely
good
and
took
pride
in
her
work.
Breakfast
was
adequate
but
certainly
not
four
star,
it's
the
only
hotel
ever
where
we
had
to
ask
for
cereal
every
morning,
it
was
available
but
only
by
request!!!
The
swimming
pool
area
could
do
with
a
good
clean
and
due
to
the
limited
number
of
sun
loungers
staff
need
to
be
more
vigilant
in
not
allowing
guests
to
reserve
them
then
not
use
them
for
hours.
The
rooftop
bar
would
benefit
from
a
general
make
over
as
it
was
far
from
inviting
but
the
views
from
it
were
OK.
The
hotel
also
had
a
courtesy
taxi
(
golf
buggy)
to
transport
guests.
Overall
we
can
recommend
this
hotel
to
others
but
be
aware
that
some
aspects
of
the
hotel
are
not
four
star
but
still
good
value
for
money
and
located
well
for
visiting
some
of
Hua
Hins
attractions.
