Private Life with great view and higher standard of the hotel. All staff wear masks and very warm welcome. Marvelous seaside, fresh air, and Soft sand. I'm appreciated the service mind of all staff. Very delicious food in the morning, swimming in the large swimming pool, and enjoy tanning bed while my staying all Day. There's the golf car from the lobby to my private room with private swimming pool. I could have my great looking photo taken by the professional staff, Khun Thip and others. There's Kids room, and easily walking way for elderly peoples and wheelchair users. I'm waiting for Chocolate fondue time which is very nice and delicious. So impressive and relaxing 😎

Many hotel’s & resorts make promises of excellence and sadly few deliver on those promises. This hotel is exceptional in every respect. It delivers a superb guest experience across all departments. The facilities are great, the maintenance is top notch (yes, everything works!), the Front Office team very friendly and efficient, the housekeepers meticulous and the Food & Beverage teams go well out of their way to ensure guests have a relaxed and enjoyable time in all the restaurants and bars. The GM is ‘boots on the ground’ ensuring the entire property runs like a clock. This resort really is Gold Standard!

Wonderful resort with lots of green and a nice pool. All employees are very friendly. Even the gardeners greet you when passing by. Clearly a well managed property with good maintenance. The two bedroom villas are very spacious and feature a small pool to cool down. They do have a small kids club next to the pool and a big part of the pool is only 60 cm deep which is nice for kids to play in. The property is located directly at the beach with nice sand during low tide. (Hi tide the water comes up to the property line). Overall a very good option for a few days in Hua Hin.

The room is very spacious. There is a living room corner. The bathroom is very hugh. There are a walk-in closet, a bath tub, a shower and another shower in the open are space area. The bed is very comfy. My family all love it. We didn't see other guests that much, I think because most of the rooms are private villa. Next visit, we will try to stay at the private villa. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The room and the pool were clean. I deducted one point out of ten because of the dirt at the connecting doors (at the balcony). our family stayed at two rooms with connecting balcony. I believe there is not much people using the connecting balcony. We had to ask the hotel staffs to clean it.

Positives: - Nice and clean rooms - Great guest experience at reception and guest service hotline - Peaceful and quiet surroundings - Good housekeeping Negatives: - Couldn't get spa slots during trip. Likely because there are also external bookings and not only hotel guests. - Couldn't book hotel shuttle to town when hotel didnt seem full and tried booking the night before. - Walked in to have dinner at Baam Dun restaurant around 7.15 pm the evening we checked in and staff didn't seem too enthusiastic with our arrival without reservation although there were empty tables. Service was mix with some service staff helpful while others not even a smile. Would I stay there again, not sure....

Staffs were smiley and helpful. However, there was a miscommunication regarding promotion packages we could profit from. The room was comfortable but some corners in the bathroom might have been better clean. The common area was beautifully decorated and maintained.

Room is clean and beautiful. Privacy is good. Variety of food are enjoyed everyday. Beach is not for swim. If you want a true beach front hotel, this is not for you. If you want a relax place, this is the place.

Absolute paradise! Pool villas are huge and beautiful. Lovely staff who are kind and attentive. Stunning grounds. Nice and quiet with the exception of a few quests who think it’s ok to blast music, not the place if you want to party! Reception dealt with them quickly which was much appreciated. Highly recommend.

We had a warm welcome and friendly and attentive staff all through our stay. Special thank you to Ducky who made sure that we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Beautiful location, good facility and good food both at the breakfast buffet and our dinner at the Ban Duum Restaurant. Thank you team.

We stayed at the resort for 6 nights during the off-season (September). We were lucky with the weather and not crowded at all. The hotel/resort is quite unique as no normal hotel rooms. Only suites and villas. The Resort is a bit old but very well maintained both the grounds as well as the rooms and all of the staff are well trained and friendly. The resort is a little distance from Hua Hin downtown and no restaurants nearby. The Resort only has 2 restaurants (1 Thai and 1 Western) and both are very expensive. Short taxi/Grab/TukTuk ride to Downtown Hua Hin (about 200 Bath). All in all a very nice place and i am sure we will be back

I had a pretty good experience at Mövenpick Hua Hin. The breakfast was delicious, and I've stayed at quite a few 5-star hotels, but honestly, only a handful have every single breakfast item tasting so good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful, right on the beach. It's clean, comfortable, and not crowded. The staff was quick to respond when I needed help. Unfortunately, some of the staff, especially at the front office, aren't very fluent in English. I had a misunderstanding with a friend due to miscommunication caused by the front office staff not being great at understanding and conveying English. In Bangkok, I stayed at a 3-star hotel, but their English was excellent, and that surprised me since Mövenpick is an international chain. There's one front office staff named Nook who took the initiative to use Google Translate, and out of everyone, she was the most helpful.

The hotel was definitely suited to families and people wanting to spend all their time there. The room we had was spacious and clean in nice quiet area. The only activities here were swimming pools and a very small gym. We have stayed at several places around Hua Hin that offer other facilities to keep guests entertained particularly when they are several kms from the city centre. This hotel was about 6 kms but did offer a shuttle bus at strange times. ie starting at 2pm which didn't allow for visits for the whole day in Hua Hin. The international restaurant offered a very good breakfast but the lunch and dinner meals were terrible. The best restaurant was Ban Dam as it overlooked the ocean and meals were prepared by a different kitchen area. Staff at the hotel were very friendly especially the restaurant managers who tried to please all guests.and made them very welcome.

Had a lovely time. I did find it a little too far from everything Special mention to Mint who looked after our unit and Keng at the bar who made our stay extra special Keng was such a lovely person who really enjoyed practising his English as much as we tested our Thai with him. What a delight he is. The pool villa was such a great way to relax. The resort gardens are amazing.

Huge, relaxing resort. Large rooms. Friendly staff. Includes a chocolate hour with many different desserts, but weirdly does not include drinking water at the chocolate hour which you need to purchase separately. Overall a lovely resort.

I stayed with a friend at a resort-style hotel over the weekend, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is situated in a beautiful natural environment near the sea, and the atmosphere was great. We had a lot of fun in the in-house swimming pool, and the food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious. The staff were very attentive, and there were interesting hotel activities like a chocolate bar, spa promotions, and a happy hour. If I have the opportunity to visit Hua Hin next time, I won't miss staying at this hotel

It was a trip I took with my son. Each and every hotel staff welcomed us, and we could feel their sincerity. Wine & Dine is highly recommended. Not only were there good meals, wine, and music, but there were also good people. My 12 year old son wanted to visit Movenpick again soon on his flight to Korea. So do I.

I stayed here for 4 nights at the villa #145 with a private pool. The room was spacious, comfortable. The courtyard is reasonable in size with a swimming pool. The bathroom is huge, separate shower and toilet, plus an outdoor shower which I loved it. The location is a bit out of town, there was a bus shuttle service 3 times a day. There is no beach access, although the hotel was right at water front. The swimming pool was large and comfortable. Breakfast selection was good. The 3pm chocolate hour was great. Best of all, the friendliness and attentiveness of staff made this resort so homely feeling.

Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin encapsulates a truly 5-star oceanfront resort experience in every facet. Service - Extremely attentive to every detail. From the check-in we noticed that the hotel has implemented the 'new normal' standards and provide minimal touch points at check-in. Smooth, efficient and friendly. It's heartwarming to see smiling staff who are eager to assist you in anyway. Upon check-in, we were escorted to our Pool Villa by a buggy. We couldn't not fault a single staff, from the bell boy to the waitresses at the restaurants to the management (especially Khun Sven and Khun Chadaporn). Route to Villa - Narrow lush trails of trees make this itself an enchanting experience as we approached our abode within the resort. Excitement filled the air for what was to come next. Pool Villa - This contemporary style villla is very well designed with a separate living room, bedroom area, working table, all the basics (safety box, slippers, bathrobes), large cupboard space, a soak tub, indoor and outdoor showers, and a dip pool. The room is airy wth large sliding doors that open to a lush garden and lots of sunlight. The colors and tones of the walls and curtains are warm and evokes a feeling of serenity and calm. The villa was also emaculately clean. The shower water pressure and drainage system was excellent. Morever, the liquid soap they use has a familiar peppermint scent and easily washes off. These subtleties are always appreciated. Wifi - Fast, stable and reliable throughout the resort make this a viable destination to work away from the cities hustle and bustle. A quick escape to this resort is always on the cards. Breakfast in villa - Enjoyed breakfast served to the room. We had a mix of both American and Continental options available. Crispy bacon, eggs Benedict, sausages, etc. Special mention: if you request for crispy bacon, they make them perfectly thin and crispy. The holaindase sauce on the eggs benedict also had a great balance of flavors. We looked forward to breakfast in the mornings. Chocolate hour - Everyday between 3 pm to 4 pm we enjoyed chocolate hour where Movenpick treats in-house guests to complimentary artisinal chocolates. This was a wonderful 'sweet' touch to the experience at Asara. Kampu Restaurant - This international restaurant enjoys the width of the resort. Dine while enjoying the warm breeze from the sea as the decident food caresses your palate. They use an online QR menu which reduces touchpoint while saving paper which is always nice. We enjoyed the basil and minced chicken (kraphao gai) and phadthai (with shrimp) as well as an awesome Movenpick rasberry and strawberry sorbet as a perfect palate cleanser. The grounds - We enjoyed sunset swims by the large oceanfront swimming pool which spans across the width of the resort. We did notice that they also had a fitness room available for use. Afternoon Tea - Sandwiches, pastries, chocolates, coffee macrons, and more. A quick nibble by the swimming pool at the Sala makes for a enjoyable wave of flavors by the oceanfront. Baan Dam - as you approach there Thai Seafood restaurant a warm yet vibrant vibe fills the air. The restaurant is set on an oceanfront lawn with minimalistic decorative elements and a chilled ambience. There is a little stage set up with local artists singing to classics. The set up was perfect for a chilled or romantic night out with excellent service and of course the food! We had pineapple fried rice (the best we have taste to date), crab curry, stir fried morning glory (phak boong), tamrind shrimps (Goong Makham). We couldn't fault a single dish. A perfect balance of flavors and authentic Thai. In fact, each dish tasted like a glorified version of street food. We would like to thank the entire team for making this a truly unforgettable stay.

Beautiful and spacious, located in a nice and quiet part of town, about 10 mins from the city centre by car, with enough amenities nearby so that it's not totally secluded. Rooms and facilities were a little dated with some parts of the hotel falling apart. The nails of the towel rack were detached from the wall, and I also fell into the pool drainage and bruised my shin because the drain cover came off when i stepped on it. But i thought it was a nice touch that room service provided lemongrass essential oil burner in the washroom We could also hear loud music from the nearby bar from our room, so it might not be the best location for light sleepers. Breakfast didn't have a lot of options, although our stay included 500 baht credit for room service, the prices on the menu exclude "tray service". I'm not quite sure what that means, because the trays are not cleared unless you call the front desk to send someone to pickup the trays when you're done with you meal. This means if you leave the tray outside your room, it could be there for a few days. Do not expect a proper sand beach at the hotel, although the pool and sun beds were sufficient for our stay.

Overall very good and very happy with this Resort. Loved the grounds, lovely pool, great little manmade beach by the ocean, restaurants with good food, massive breakfast selection. Chocolate hour from 3-4 is great (not as good as at the Movenpick Soi 15 in Bangkok tho) The restaurants have delicious food, good variety and also a kids menu (Kampu). Stayed in one bedroom pool-villa and it was excellent, massive bathroom, nice pool and nice to have a separate living room with couch. As others said before, ask to stay on the north side of the property for more privacy, we stayed in Room 114, very nice. (Anything around Room 102 - 128 should be good.) Really, overall it is excellent and you wont regret coming here. A few negatives: Room service (cleaning) - on a rainy day they didn’t show up at all - Our tray of plates & foodscraps was sitting outside our villa for a day before somebody picked it up (even tho we called for room service to come get it) (happened multiple times that the tray was sitting there for 24hours or more) Room service (food) - Diavola pizza is not good - Cocktails not good at all (my mojito was basically just soda water & some lime) - 2nd time we ordered (burger & pizza) we waited and waited and then after 1 hour we called the restaurant and they said they never got the order - not okay - apparently the order ‘got lost’, aka the front desk didnt pass the order on to the kitchen. - a bit inconsistent, menu says Club Sandwich comes with Salad, but it didn't. Kids menu sandwich (egg & mayo) says it's wholewheat bread, but it definitely is white bread. Kampu & Baan Dum - we enjoyed all the food we ate (except Diavola Pizza and the Tom Kha at Baan Dum didnt blow us away) - Friendly staff & nice atmosphere (especially P. Sao!) - Baan Dum Restaurant very nice, on the lawn right by the ocean (and cheaper than Kampu) Probably the culprit is the front desk people, very friendly & nice, but dont relay messages / dont do their job properly. Even basic things like passing on a food order or calling the shuttle. Movenpick is great. Great facilities and all, but the service is just lacking. Had the same experience at the one on Soi 15 in Bangkok. Staff training needs to happen, even for simple basic things.

Old but well kept resort, has a complex dining menu but probably needs a top chef to deliver consistency in quality. We stayed in villa with private pool that offers a 80cm diameter floating breakfast tray for fun a must try at least once

Our family stayed there across 5 different rooms which was quite fun. The ocean front villas are lovely, whilst the private pool villas were nicely private and spacious. The lagoon rooms also had similar space but on the 1st floor which was a nice change in perspective. All the rooms are well maintained given the age of the resort and you will find all you need in them. Bathrooms are sizable and the outdoor showers are a treat especially on hot sunny days. Breakfast on site was a bit busy now that the pandemic is easing, although all still wear masks and many wear the supplied plastic gloves. There is a decent selection for breakfast although I would have expected a bit more - ie limited condiments for congee, no seafood savories, limited deli meats and cheeses. The spread was nicely laid out but it felt decidedly lacking was the consensus from our family. Service was also good and as you would expect in such a resort. Everyone was very helpful and did their best to help. The gardeners helped direct me around and took my trash when I was looking for one, the receptionist recommended several good restaurants, the housekeeping did a good job in the rooms. This is a lovely family hotel which is busy but the layout felt private enough to enjoy some peace. The rooms are slightly dated but still very serviceable. The privacy in the villas and the very spacious rooms were a very big draw and did not disappoint. This is a nice change from the modern sterile hotel buildings in the town these days. Would I come back - we are spilt on this, my husband loved it, some others thought it nice enough although they would have wanted better breakfast options. We will come back with the kids and stay again as they have access to a big pool[s] and freedom to roam through the lovely resort. But i will likely eat off campus instead of staying in as there are so many good food options in Hua Hin already. Just make sure you have transport as the resort is about 10 mins drive from the town centre.

Hotel is new and very big, room is spacious and have a huge terrace. We like the free chocolate buffet. However there is no sand beach so we could not enjoy the beach, only can swim in the pool. Pool is nice. Breakfast is just so so for a 5star hotel. One thing I dont like here is about their communication, we informed them twice before arrival and after checking in that we dont need extra bed but they still brought it in.

A wonderful and impressive hotel. Felt like when visiting Maldives. Separated rooms with pool villa, lots of tropical trees. Breakfast is delicious and free chocolate hour at 3-4 pm.

Beautiful room and facilities. Staff is extremely nice and polite. But unfortunately not trained enough or maybe just understaffed: room still not made up at 3:30 pm when returning from an exhausting day and just hoping to relax, burger served with a weird acid taste and smell (our 5 y.o. kid just could not put it in his mouth) at the restaurant and the cook replies “beef is supposed to taste like this”, plastic cover of transport carts not installed under pouring rain… Pity, this is not the amazing hotel it was a few years ago.
