skirt
made
out
of

a
900-degree

circle
skirt.
It
was
short
before
Christmas
time,
all

“prestigious!”

dressmakers
in
Bangkok
I
came
in
touch
with
were
either
overbooked,
or
they
did
not
understand
the
design
I
wanted
to
have,
despite
me
giving
simple
and
comprehensive
specifications
that
any
ten-year-old
kid
learning
basic
geometry
at
school
would
understand!
They
even
asked
me
to
bring
an
original
model,
which
of
course
I
did
not
have,
since
what
I
wanted
was
a
specific
–
and
simple!
-
design
for
a
skirt
that
is
not
available
in
any
shop!
Since
I
was
spending
Christmas
and
New
Year’s
time
in
Hua
Hin,
I
got
in
touch
with
several
local
tailors
and
dressmakers
there:
only
Smart
Fashion
replied
to
my
request.
Business
owner
Rohit
listened
carefully
to
my
request,
recommended
exactly
the
right
fabric
I
needed
and
crafted
the
skirt
according
to
the
design
I
gave
and
of
course
the
measurements
he
took.
The
final
product
was
exactly
as
I
wished:
the
right
amount
of
half-circles,
the
right
distance
between
the
buttons,
the
right
belt,…
The
skirt
fits
right
on
my
body,
and
the
fabric
he
used
is
so
pleasant
to
wear.
I
eventually
ended
ordering
more
than
one
such
skirt;
Smart
Fashion
has
quite
many
choices
of
fabric
material,
colors
and
patterns,
that
I
could
not
resist
ordering
more:
instead
of
ordering
1
single
piece,
I
ordered
10
different
pieces!
They
could
all
be
finished
before
I
left
Hua
Hin.
On
top
of
this,
I
ordered
one
floor-length
6-half-circle
skirt
(1080
degrees)
with
side
zip
instead
of
front
buttons,
two
3-half-circle
midi-skirts
(540
degrees),
one
floor-length
front-button
dress,
for
which
Rohit
made
the
skirt
part
out
of
6
half-circles,
and
two
blouses.
The
dress
needed
several
fittings,
but
Rohit
handled
these
with
much
patience.
If
you
visit
Thailand
and
want
to
have
clothes
tailored
for
you,
I
would
recommend
to
visit
Hua
Hin
and
his
shop
as
a
credible
alternative
to
the
ones
in
Bangkok.
You
will
also
have
more
time
to
be
listened
to
if
you
have
special
requests,
that
you
would
have
in
busier
ones
in
Bangkok.
