My mother went to this hospital. Please avoid this place its a pure money grabbing machine... My mother had pheumonia. And a long story short they have withheld vital information from us regarding test results on my mothers recovery. Just to keep her longer in the hospital to charge us more and more... they lack ethics and they should be ashamed of themselves. They took an oath as medical professionals didnt they ??? Baffled by this....

Good quality Thai private hospital chain you can find in many cities. Service is good, emergency room is well equipped and staffed and it's quite clean. Doctors are professional too. You do get a LOT of medicine here, including the ubiquitous amoxicillin you get everywhere. Maximizing profits and potentially contributing to the next wave of drug resistant super viruses. They're pretty good at going OVER the OPD limit for whatever insurance you have which is greedy. Should ask first. Plenty of parking in the back, an Au Bon Pain Cafe, a 7 Eleven in the main building and toilets are clean too.

Doctors are good but other staff especially cashiers are slow, unhelpful. Takes 5 minutes to see doctor but then over an hour wait for them to process paperwork and payment to cashiers. Not insurance friendly even when pre approval has been done before visit. This just makes the payment time even longer. I was quote 3,500 for procedure for my son and price jumped to 7,000 once they knew we were using insurance,

They cannot do as they are asked by physicians in other hospitals needing updates on their patients condition all they want to do get more tests more doctors involved and keep the bill rising and then over prescribe on medication. This is not a hospital treating the sick and injured. It is a money grabbing enterprise. Also if something is wrongly diagnosed it could cost you dearly. If they were true caring doctors, the correct treatment and medication given then I am sure more people would put their trust in them.

I was feeling horrible and in shock already that my mum was having an emergency heart condition, only to be made worse by the very very bad service attitude! The front desk was rude. Another staff tried to make a 85 year-old patient who was about to go into ICU sign the paperwork! The peak was this! After we had already paid 1,000 Baht for what turned out to be a 6-minute ambulance transfer, the staff then refused to send us back to the hotel at 4am in the morning and they told my mum (a 85 year-old lady who could hardly walk) to GET OFF the stretcher in the middle of the hospital and to walk by herself! WHAT THE...?!?!?!??? We had to ask (almost had to beg them!) to roll her to the front of the hospital driveway! This is INHUMANE!! Very hard to believe that this type of mindset can exist in any hospital at all, let alone a private hospital! "UNBELIEVABLE"

What a difference between the Bangkok Hospital in Hua Hin before the Covid-19 and after the Covid-19. As there is a shortage of customers.... sorry tourists, sorry patients...., they now only care about charging services, tests, examinations, etc.... even when not justified at all. You only hear about prices Bath 10'000, Bath 3'000, Bath 25'000, etc... The staff is no longer concerned about treating patients, they have to make money. A doctor recommends you to see another specialist before you come back to him, etc... What happened to the Hyppocratic Oath? Quite a cynical environment with some staff being simply hostile the way they look at you. I hope that we will not fall seriously ill while being here as if this is the case there is matter to worry. And we had such good memories of the hospital 2 and 3 years ago.... good doctors, helpful nurses, kindness everywhere, caring staff from the moment you walked in and nobody talked about money, money, money. You provided your insurance certificate, your credit card and that was it.

Very poor hospital. Doctor's are unprofessional, hurried, don't review all documents. Hospital attempts to increase fees any way they can - for example for a scheduled MRI asking you to go to the attending department first so they can check your vitals and therefore add a fee! Questions are never fully answered (e.g., "can we treat it this way, what are the benefits and how much" response will be "we can try"). Unacceptable 30-minute+ wait times at Cashier even with insurance where you only need to sign a document. Poor English ability of staff (which is fine elsewhere but not in the most expensive hospital in town). If you call, expect to be transferred to multiple departments until you give up.

Arriving with considerable pain, no effort was made to stem the pain until financial arrangements were in place.Following a kidney stone removal, I never even was given the courtesy for meeting the surgeon that operated. They did however send and billed me for a physiotherapist who was not called for or needed. A financialy geared establishment with limited expertise.Avoid this place at all costs.

Hospital was v busy but no issues with medical service. I asked for a taxi to drive to local hotel- hospital ordered a minivan, - would not tell me price till I arrived at hotel for which I provided directions- claimed it was 1300 baht. I was thinking 800 max . Dishonesty from hospital staff, I did not expect them to join extorting foreigners I expected better

Just choose another clinic. It's waste of time and money. Administration of this Hospital, please take a look on my feedback. If patient with fewer and bad headache it's inappropriate to make him wait sitting on the bench outside for 5 hours especially if medical service costs 15000 baht.

I do not understand all the negative comments, as this hospital is amazing. I arrived at the hospital emergency with an injury. They looked after me and had treated me and discharged me all within 2 hour. Great service πŸ‘πŸΌ … The hospital is very clean and like a fancy hotel. The staff were so nice and very efficient. I cannot fault them. I even went out my way to thank them all for looking after me the way they did. Thank you! πŸ™

I had a wart removed, this was done very professionally and efficiently, but when it reappeared 2 months later I was told that unless it comes back within 2 weeks of the laser treatment then I had to pay again. Obviously this was never never explained to me either before or after the treatment. I tend to agree with the previous comments, used to increase fees, needless to say I won’t be using the skin care facility in Bkk Hospital ever again.

Hospital & service ok. Been there a number of times & pretty much all the doctors I’ve seen must be around 30 - so little practical experience in my view. Prices on the other hand, plenty of experience in how to charge.

Never ever come to this hospital. I went to emergency in the early morning coz I was sick and they did antigen test (which is their procedure I understand) and asked me wait one hour!! Imagine if someone is really having emergency and having to wait one hour! Their stupid procedure is making someone’s life at stake. As I couldn’t wait anymore, I just paid for antigen and went back. It was 500 baht yet I couldn’t get any result. The front desk staff was so rude, treating patient as an enemy. Thanks to their inefficient and rude staffs, I straight away recovered from my sickness due to the anger. Bonus, their chairs not hygienic, I got allergies on my legs sitting on them. Incredible!

The worst hospital in Thailand. You make an appointment then go there and wait at least 1 1/2 hrs past the appointed time. This happens every time. Last time I went I had to give up and go home. Even today sitting here for an hour already after the appointment time. No doctors here right now is what they said and now asking me to go to emergency!!!! Do not come here

I really regret purchasing 2 shots of Moderna vaccines from Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin. I was informed by SMS that the last round for my vaccine booking would be March 15 & 16. To my shock, this means I have to either take two shots in two days, or to forfeit/sell my second shot. This is incredibly badly planned. How can I take two shots in two days? I will die or get seriously ill from it. And why would I buy two shots of vaccines just so I can take one shot and sell the other away? If I buy two shots, that means I want to take two shots. So does that mean that I now have to hunt high and low for another shot, which is so difficult to get? I wasn't informed that if I wanted to get 2 shots, the last time I could register for the first shot is February. Instead, I was told that the last time I could register is March. When I said I wanted to lodge a complaint, the staff hung up the phone on me. Talk about great customer service. I am very angry how poorly run this is and how I have to hunt again for another shot. I strongly do NOT recommend buying vaccine doses from this hospital.

Friendly. But that's about it. 4700 baht for a PCR test and you end up waiting for more than 30 mins, get seated outside in the traffic smog in the mid day heat until it is your turn, flea market feel. Avoid if you can.

We visited the hospital after my Thai wife had some pain in the knee after a small motorbike accident. Everything went very efficiently. No waiting time either for the doctor nor for doing the x-ray. Got all necessary medication immediately. No need to pay anything after showing the insurance card. Interesting the robot bringing medication and supplies quietly.

The nicest ie most expensive private hospital in the Cha Am/Hua Hin area, you're likely to receive professional care, service and adequate treatment. Be warned however, you'll be milked for all you're worth. The medical staff are good but from experience not as thorough, helpful or engaged as those in the capital city, at Bangkok Hospital on Soonvijai/Phetchburi Road. Be sure to ask what medications are being given to you and why; reserve the right to purchase them yourself if available OTC. Chances are some of the medicines prescribed aren't necessary, or, you can get them way cheaper at a pharmacy. If you're considering getting physicals done here vs. in Bangkok: don't waste your money and time. They charge like their health checkup package is on par, but allocate barely enough doctors (the Hua Hin location is always very busy). You essentially wait for a doctor to become available between patients. I feel for the nurses, it must be stressful to juggle and explain no-shows. Got hooked up for a stress test and sat reading for over 40 minutes, finally asked to go to the bathroom upon which they said just go have lunch, an emergency's come up and there's only one cardiologist. So we left to eat, went back an hour later to get the stress test. Limited facilities and ageing equipment -- the inspection label/service contract on one device was expired. On the other hand, Bangkok Hospital in Bangkok, where we last got our physicals in 2022, left a wonderful impression. The process took 3-4 hours, at the end of which we were walked through an extensive report complete with graphs and illustrations. The doctor gave an indepth, holistic evaluation of all test results along with practical diet and lifestyle advice. We felt thoroughly evaluated, cared for, and "seen" as individuals not just patients on an assembly line. In comparison, at the end of our checkups in Hua Hin, my husband and I felt mildly confused, let down, and unsure about the doctor's evaluation and recommendations. Not that the doctor wasn't professional and competent -- she was quite efficient and articulate -- but unless we asked pointed questions or offered information about our health, there seemed to be minimal effort to draw connections or insights beyond reading test results and data. There seemed to be a lot of communication mix-ups, too, which makes me think either the staff are overwhelmed or they need to improve their systems and processes. An additional note on the Hua Hin outlet: about a year ago, I had to accompany a family member to the emergency room. He was quite incapable of communication, lying on a gurney awaiting medical attention. Instead of talking to me, and the staff knew we had arrived together, a nurse informed my relative that he wouldn't receive care till he'd made a deposit of 20,000 baht. He had to tell the nurse to ask me for the deposit. I was sitting less than 20 feet away. Seriously, people. That was not cool. I understand that you need to make sure people pay for their services at your hospital, but you need to get your service protocols right.

I had a mammogram and the male technician and his helper gossiped like school mates during the entire ultrasound procedure. I hardly think he could be paying attention to what he was looking at as I had pain in one breast i was nervous about and had to interrupt their conversation to ask him to look more closely. I was so upset that I forgot to ask about what could be done about the cyst he didn’t tell me about when I had my 2 minute consultation with β€˜results’ doctor at the end. This hospital could use a lot of improvement!

Very bad experience for my 78yr old father, who had severe urinary tract/prostate problems. They let him wait for a long time, saying the urologist would be in after a few hours. The urologist never showed up, and after hours of waiting they sent him home.

When I was getting first shot of rabies vaccine I was told that it’s ok to come later than scheduled time to get my second shot since I was going to be out of town for upcoming week. But when I came to get it the stuff said that I couldn’t get my second shot because I’m late and need to retake first shot and pay again. It was very upsetting. Why didn’t they tell me right away? I would have waited for later to get my first shot and get the second shot in time.

With high volumes of patients they are not performing well anymore. You wait too long to see the doctor and too long in every department. I recently visited and after waiting beyond my appointment time, I was then asked to take a covid test and wait a further hour for results before seeing the doctor. I explained I have taken four PCR tests over the previous two weeks and all have been negative. They insisted. I left and visited San Paulo, just down the road, where it took just 5 mins to see the doctor, a further 7 mins to get a chest Xray and just 10 more mins for results and cashier. Probably half the price as well...30 mins I was home! Lesson learnt; BKK is shiny and white, and all the equipment looks new and clean, but in reality the actual service is poor these days!

I just wish the staff has better communication with the customers. I mean, once, they get the patients paper, they better check with the computer not just keep asking the patients. The first time was BAD. Appointment time was 11.10 but didn't get to see the doctor until like 12 15. The doctor just happily finished hi is coffee when.my husband sat tiredly in front of his room. DISAPPOINTED!!

I went in to emergency as had had bad Hives for over 24 hours and now chest pain and trouble breathing. They directed me immediately to a bed and started tests and administered injections. I am extremely impressed with their level of care, their English and cannot fault their service. Although we are fully covered by private medical insurance, I thought the charges very reasonable at around 4000 baht total for the care and further medication.

This is not a normal Bangkok Hospital. Prices are much higher than in other provinces. Probably because of the many tourists? Inquired for Blood test and was told 5500THB. I dont have to pay myself but I still will not go here. Let your insurance company know.

August 2K22. Four stars What an improvement since last year in quality and services offered with efficiency and transparence in English of course at a price at Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin . It is worth giving them the visit.... Thanks for all the Team efforts for the changes implemented. The past year was three stars : Why being so wrongly aggressive to GRAB money BY ALL MEANS from abusing customers by i. e. inventing pretending like for our 10 years old boy early this week diagnosed with heart murmurs... We refused to look for it at BH hiospital though 48 hours later we went to an other hospital looking for second opinion comforting us our boy's heart has no murmurs. How much would we had been charged for looking as diagnosed a first times ending the search with no murmurs? Bangkok Hospital in Bangkok is a reputed high class earned over the years hospital the BH Hua Hin is benefiting from its aura itself so far away to reach similar standards.. I recommend BH Hua Hin management a full auditing of costs and re training everyone to be serving the people kindly walking in BH Hua Hin. I am avoiding, not recommending to any one, BH Hua Hin, surely not for any of my family of five.

Can only speak on the pediatric clinic here. Service was on point and respectful. My daughter received a large amount of treatment and medicine, we were there all day as she was very sick. Total bill came to only 5k baht. Not sure what all these other reviews are complaining about. Didnt experience any long waits either.

8 Years of using Thai public hospitals and this was the first time I used a private hospital here. What a refreshing change. It felt like the most normal thing I've done in years. It was like being back in my jime country. Very clean, neat, and professional service. Not as expensive as I imagined.

So went early for a very sore throat and after all the normal check in procedures had a chest and nasal X-ray had to wait an hour & half for the Dr. to show up & then he had no notes & proceeds to ask all the questions I have already been asked early. He then tries to force me to have a Covid influenza test and when asked can I leave hospital if positive he says No lol. I insisted I want medication for the throat etc he said x rays were ok he did the other normal checks but was going on about CT scans etc - so eventually he gives up with β€œupsell” tactics and we go to check out and for the Medication a price of over 10,000 baht lol so we question this and the girl straight away said β€œoh you can get these from pharmacy !!! So we get a lot of items removed and leave - the message to anyone visiting Bkk hospital they will attempt to bleed you dry if you are not prepared - Goverment hospital has better reviews - wish I had gone there first

I visited the skin doctors in this hospital 3 times, and every time a new doctor. None of them helped me. I changed to another doctor in the city and finally got help after 2 years. Really incompetent doctors, only interested in selling creams, pills and shampoos.
