Pretty unique set up for the temple. The view is amazing, the temple location is excellent. However, you can tell that it’s not been well maintain which is not a bad thing. I only wish they built less ugly concert fake cave structures. Because the nature is so magnificent, it really doesn’t need those ugly man made structures. However, the. Temple itself is absolutely beautiful. I also love the small fish village right by it.

Just 15km from Hua Hin going South. You can wonder around the Reservoir or sample the street food down by the temple. Enter the temple along the fishing jetty and climb up to the large golden Buddha. You can get access to the beach by climbing the path over the rocks

Quiet beach. A bit too far from main Hua Hin. No beach chairs. Good relaxing area. Recommend to bring your own drink, mat, umbrella.

Not far from Wat Khao Tao you can park your car in this area. You also can see a good view.

Morning breezes from the lake is very good for going out. Just enjoy walking or running around the lake at ~2.5 kms.

Off DPT. Prachuap Khiri khan 2002 road, there's a small road up a hill leading to Chao Mae Tuptim Thong Shrine, Racer Marina Hua hin and Pranburi Forest Park.  About halfway to the shrine, there's a shortcut with a sign reading "Pranburi Forest Park".  This small dirt road runs through a hilly jungle for a distance of about a couple of kilometers and ends near Bella Costa Hua Hin.  We decided to drive along it to get to the park.  It was all green all the way with brush and trees.  Surprisingly, we saw a peafowl and her 2 babies looking for food along it.  Then again, 2 more young peacocks and a couple of peafowls foraging in the brush!  We have no idea how they are raised or wild ones, but it's a pleasant surprise to see them.

Not a lot to see but what there is, is nice. I wouldn't make a special trip to go here but if you were in the area you might drop by, have a coffee and dessert across the road from the "temple" in the lake.
