This is an Italian restaurant. It has nice setting of fine dining restaurant with an open kitchen and also offering a relaxation atmosphere when we walked in. Great service from all staff and the owner is very kind, friendly and helpful. All the dishes are very delicious. We come here the second time and the taste is great as same as the first time. The price is also very reasonable comparing to the quality from all of the dishes. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Affordable Fine Dining - highly recommended! This luxuriously furnished Italian restaurant is still an insider tip, as it only opened at the beginning of the Covid epidemic. Here you will find genuine Italian cuisine, a particularly large selection of pizzas and an interesting wine list. Live music on Saturdays. The owner personally takes care of every guest, the service is attentive and professional, and all this at incredibly reasonable prices.

Thanks to David and his team for their great hospitality they offered to mom and me when we ate here. Ossobuco was fantastic and mom loved the pizza and the wine. A great atmosphere and delicious food made for for a relaxing evening.

I tried Zafferano'94 on a Saturday evening when "O-Gen", the Israeli restaurant nearby was too full to give me a seat. I am glad that things turned out that way. First, the restaurant staff members were very helpful when they saw me standing out front looking at the menu. They greeted me and they answered my questions and explained the different sections of the menu. Next, the staff led me into the restaurant and I decided to sit inside. The first thing I noticed was an elegant and upscale decor that made me wish I had brought a date. I think that this restaurant would be a good option for couples as the atmosphere has a romantic feel. That being said I think that families are also quite welcome here as there was a family with a toddler seated nearby. The dining area looks into the kitchen through a large gallery window where customers can see the chefs preparing the food. Although Hua Hin is a casual resort town with most foreign men wearing shorts, I did feel as though I was a bit under dressed wearing a polo shirt and shorts. When I return with a date, I will feel more at ease in the upscale dining area in slacks and a buttoned up shirt. Hahaha! As I was hungry for a quick bite and as I am continuously on the lookout for good pizza, I ordered the pizza with mushrooms and sausage as the topping. The menu offers a base of tomato and mozzarella and you select your toppings from the menu. My pizza was good but slightly soft - after the fact, the waitress mentioned that customers can request the pizza to be more well-done and crispy. To her credit she offered to have the chef make me another pie, but I declined. My soft pizza was fine and next time I will request it more crispy. I washed the pizza down with an ice cold pint of Leo. Still, for the "fine diners" out there, Zafferano has a wine list and cocktails. I will try the wine next time. Also, there are some interesting looking appetizers, pastas and entrees, and I will sample them next time. The waitress brought me complimentary Bruchetta as an appetizer and free ice water. This is a standard procedure at this restaurant. The prices for the pizza are comparable to the other, famous pizza restaurants on Soi 94. I think the atmosphere here is more "elegant", so maybe ordering the Italian entrees would be a better match. Customers are charged 10% Service and 7% VAT and this is noted on the first page of the menu. I think it's OK as the complimentary Bruchetta and ice water was nice. The restaurant host, David, came over to my table to greet me at the end of my meal and he did apologize for being a bit late. As customary he offered me a free Lemoncello, Grappa or even another Leo draft. I tried the Grappa. In conclusion, I think Zafferano'94 is a welcome addition to the Soi 94 restaurant scene. I hope that this place can survive Covid and be a lasting establishment in Hua Hin. I will bring a date next time.

Yesterday evening was our second visit to Zafferano’94. Having enjoyed our first visit so much, it was a must for us to return. One can truthfully say that the Zafferano’94 experience is fine dining at its best. Starting with the reception and greeting from the Maitre’D, moving on to the ambiance, menu and wine list, and then the unhurried and patient assistance of the waitresses while making your selection, has to be commended at the highest level. Now onto the main event of the evening, the food, which is firstly presented to you in a clear and concise menu. Our choices made and delivered at a pace dictated by us, must be described as some of the most delicious Italian food one could hope to experience. We are a couple, one of us is of Italian extraction, and as coincidence would have it, her father was also a chef. She can say without fear of contradiction, that the food we both so immensely enjoyed was as authentic as one could possibly hope to find outside of Italy. The meal took her back to her childhood in her home kitchen and the food prepared there by her parents. Personal memories aside, we are bound to say, that both our experiences to date at this very fine establishment have been amongst the best it has been our privilege to enjoy anywhere, not only in Thailand but in many, many other places. One cannot leave a review of this restaurant without mentioning the fact that everything that goes on in the kitchen is there for you to view as it happens, as the owners have taken the steps to place the kitchen in your full view behind glass should it be your desire to observe. Again, based on our experiences elsewhere, what we observed in this kitchen, can only be described as professionalism at its highest level resulting in the delivery of the most delicious food.

I really have to give kudos to the owner and his grear team for an overwhelming food and service! I'm so glad I've chosen Zafferano'94 for lunch on my birthday and my experience here can be described in one word: superb! I love the vibes, the purple and grey decorations, the brightly clean opened kitchen and I love every dishes being served today. We had Vitello Tonnato, Truffle Risotto, Salmon in Creamy Avocado sauce and the extraordinary cod fish. For desserts, we have one homemade chocolate cake which 100000% more tasty than brownies as complimentary, and we ordered 1 Tiramisu. Tiramisu was exactly my favourite taste which was not spoiled by too much Rhum like in other places. For the Risotto, their Chef worths alot of applause! I'm the fan of Risotto and I can say this is the best Risotto I've ever tried! This can be explained because their Chef comes from Torino 🤩🤩🤩 no wonder why he made it soooooo good! The owner is very kind and interesting! I was impressed with his warm welcome and his generosity. The price is not high at all compared to what he offered: the great ambiance, the bruschetta for complimentary, the overwhelming food and staffs. For me, today is my Birthday so he even prepare fresh flowers, delicious cake and Latte for complimentary! Thank you so much for everything. I came here for the first time, and I will come back many many more times for sure!

We dropped by during daytime for a coffee at Zafferano and found it to be a real gem in huahin. Beautifully decorated with both outside and inside seating. The owners and staff are very kind and friendly. It wad truly a memorable visit. Thank you to Zafferano team.

Visited this restaurant twice on my resent visit to Hua Hin. Had an amazing seafood salat, salmon and a couple of scoops with delicious ice cream the first time, and a pizza on my second visit. Fantastic food, a very nice restaurant owner and two wonderful waitresses making sure I had a good time. I will definitely visit again when returning to Hua Hin.

We went there last saturday for dinner ,and here our 5 stars : 1st star for the the food which is done and presented with love 2nd star for the service and the staff ,it is very very well trained ,you wont easily find this quality around Hua Hin believe me 3 rd star for the place very neat and clean 4 th star really interesting wine selection, also have to mention a wide choice on wine by glass and, on top of that, our 5th star is for the guys who are running the place ,can see they are experienced ,great attitude with a know how that makes you feel comfy we absolutely recommend this place. i saw a review that says they are pricey, we can say is not true, the price is quiet on the HH's average

Very nice place, modern decorations give a pre taste of food quality. Had vitello tonato and lamb. Excellent. One star (and 2 in service) taken away for pricing policy. 17% (10 for service and 7 for VAT) is added at the end. I really prefer when the prices on the menu are the ones you pay.

I came here with my wife and 3 kids, they all enjoyed it, a rarity for them all to agree! Having lived in Bangkok for 19 years I would rate this place up with the best Italian restaurants in the capital. Thoroughly recommended.

This would be a perfect object for Gordon Ramseys "Kitchen Nightmare"! Probably the worst food I have experienced in Thailand. Ever. First time I walk out from ANY restaurant without finishing my food. Nothing Italian about their strange menu. I love Italian food, both to eat and cook, and this is an insult to any Italian food lover. The first I notice is that they have the now outdated adding of both tax and service charge. This is removed from almost any place today. Totally not belong here. And the prices are already hyped as they are. I can also guarantee no staff will ever see those 10%. I know many in the industry and this is just a trick to make more for the owner. Not much attracted me from the very short and really odd menu. No Italian connections there. It is said the chef is from Italy, but obviously without proper chef training. I tried as starter the "Shrimp Cocktail". A traditional dish, lovely if well performed. This was a travesty. I think shrimps was frozen. They claim they are not. If so - how can a cook so totally lose control of their quality? Chewy, tough and without any flavour. No rich sauce as it should be. Instead a small drop of something indistinctive right on the plate. Watery and blend. The proof they are cooked wrong - is that tail piece not come off nice and easy. These were stuck. Anyone with any cooking skills knows this. Not easy to chose main dish. Nothing looked really attractive. But I thought a Carbonara could not be a failure. Everyone knows what to expect, right? Wrong. In came something totally odd and with undercooked pasta. I was going to try to find out the other ingredients, but it was impossible. The dish was so salty, that I could just have opened the salt teller and poured it straight in my mouth. Totally impossible to eat. I sent it out and ordered the bill. I suppose the owner was inside walking about. I was the only guest. And also complained and sent food back. Did he bother to come and talk? No. Really unprofessional. A thai waitress started arguing with me that these dishes was "so liked by guests". I listened in astonishment. Then told her that if a guest say some constructive criticism, you listen to it and don´t think you can TALK anyone into liking your food! Amazingly bad staff training. But this is a failed place. Seems they have put some effort into making it look ok, but for sure did not include menu or food. Sad. I see some positive reviews here. Don´t believe them. Either friends of owner or bought. Because anyone who loves Italian - and has a working palette, can for sure not find any delight here. Of course I will never return and warn all of my friends as well. Visit at your own risk! Expensive AND useless! A terrible combination! Or as Gordon Ramsey once said: "WHY do you open a restaurant when you can´t cook"?

Service was perfect with very much attention to detail, food overall good, needs some work on some aspect of the dish, to much sauce on some dishes overpowering the test and flavor of dishes , overall a good Italian dining experience in Hua Hin, would go again to try different dishes and have a better idea of the restaurant, The owner of the restaurant is very passionate about his work and giving the best experience to his restaurant guest.

If you are open to constructive criticism, I would strongly advise you to include in your prices tax/service charge (even if that means you must increase your menu prices to include them). This is the only thing that stops me short from trying your restaurant. This practice might be common in some places in Bangkok and perhaps elsewhere but not all that common in Hua Hin. I see another customer raised the same point. Most customers just like to see immediately what they have to pay rather than calculating and guessing what the final bill will be. It is just more customer friendly. Food for thought?
