Gorgeous scenery. Lots and lots of good spots for photo taking. Walk in price is 500 bath, but it can go down to 365 baht if you booked online. Please be advised that you are required to wear something 'respectful', meaning you need to wear something of knees length. If the staff deemed your outfit to be inappropriate, then they have the option for you to buy or rent for (they'll return the deposit when you're done) skirts or oversized trousers of 200baht for you to wear on your duration of your visit. This place offers tour guide services for various languages: Thai, English, Chinese and Russian. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, but I'd say she was rushing the tour a little bit. Overall quite a pleasant experience.

It’s not a historical spot to view, but very attractive and amazing. The museum started from the year 1981 and is still keep on making new constraints. There’s tour guides with different languages each hour which is included in the ticket. You can follow an one hour tour to get to know more about this place. Very nice experience of visiting

Entrance is 500 Baht and the activities are a separate payment. They accept cashless payments too. I’ve uploaded their prices for everyone’s reference. However, I forgot to take a picture on the time schedule per nationality for tour purposes. They also have a restaurant inside with reasonable prices. I think it took us almost 3 hours for taking photos, eating and etc. it was pretty humid when we went despite the cloudy weather. I just think that their activity prices are too high. For instance, riding an elephant is 400 Baht and you’ll be riding it for 10 minutes only. So it’s not a reasonable price in my opinion. So instead, just bought a basket of bananas for 100 Baht to feed the elephants, much better!

Highly recommend…Amazing place! The art was astounding. Visited midday and it wasn’t too hot. The guides were very knowledgeable. My only advice to the guides would be to slow down when talking/walking. It was a speedy tour. After the tour make sure to order a coconut smoothie! Very good!

500 baht/person, don't forget to dress appropriately - knees and shoulders covered, you can also borrow for deposit of 200 baht/piece textile coverage, deposit will be returned after you return the fabric. Absolutely stunning, gorgeous museum teaching you about 7 truths. This museum is fully built from only wood, 400 year old wood! Details and knowledge everywhere, you come here with an intention of seeing something beautiful and unusual and you are gonna leave with knowledge and understanding, something what none can take from you, 7 truths are really "carved deep into this wooden museum" nearly a "temple". First we were in an English group but after we went on our own exploration we met Russian group. All the rest of excursion we spent with them. The guy (the one in orange helmet on photos) was talking with an unbelievable passion, it was so interesting, he even made jokes. The feeling I had from the presentation from this guy was nothing but enchanted. There should more workers in the world like him, workers who have passion, enthusiasm and are really deeply interested in what they do, they are so rare, and this guy is one of them. So if you understand Russian language definitely go for the excursion with this guy. If there is owner reading this review, I should say, well done, this was something breathtaking, 10/10 for the museum and 100/10 for the presentation from this guy.

The museum experience is enriching and offers two distinct modes of exploration. Visitors have the option of joining a guided group tour, where a knowledgeable guide provides insightful commentary on the history and significance of the statues and deities showcased. Alternatively, guests may choose to peruse the exhibits at their own pace, a choice that caters to those who prefer a more personal contemplation of the art.Additional activities such as row boating, speed boating, and horseback riding are available, though these incur separate charges beyond the admission fee. Despite its seemingly grand exterior, the museum's size is more modest than anticipated. However, this does not detract from the experience. Remarkably, the structure is primarily constructed of wood, with metal nails employed solely for temporary support. An average visit to the museum lasts approximately 40 minutes, sufficient to appreciate its offerings. Post-tour, guests can enjoy light refreshments like French fries and cold beverages available outside the museum. In summary, the museum presents a well-executed and memorable experience, albeit at a price point that may be considered slightly elevated for the duration and scope of the museum tour.

It is an amazing wooden building that has deep messages for life. The guide is so kind and such an educated person. I forgot his name but I attached his photo along with the other photos. His way of explaining is so clear for everyone, and I feel as if I’m reading a philosophical book. The Museum building has so many details that are handmade professionally. Each and every detail has a meaning. Not one corner doesn’t have a meaning. It’s unbelievable. I think I’ll come again in the future to see the updates.

The level of intricacy and value of cultural art of this museum is remarkable! I’ve never seen something so breathtaking and original. The tour guide was super informative in explaining every corner and philosophy of each sculpture here, although it was quite short, but definitely I learn a lot about the history of this temple. The wood carving is updated regularly and crafted with precision with their sculptor and adds the beauty of this site. Worth to visit again for my second time!

A truly majestic wooden structure, what makes it unique is the requirement to wear a construction helmet upon entry. Visitors are initially guided through the construction area to witness the meticulous hand-carving process. Continuous maintenance and carving activities are ongoing, necessitating the use of safety helmets even inside the main hall. The entire building is constructed without the use of any nails; instead, it relies on traditional joinery, tenon-and-mortise, and wooden pegs. This construction method, is remarkably preserved here, presenting a spectacular sight. Visitors also have the option to rent horse-drawn carriages or ride elephants around the building for admiration, priced at 400 NT dollars per person for a single ride or 800 NT dollars for two people on one elephant. The park also features a coffee terrace and a massage area for visitors to take a leisurely break.

An interesting place to visit and explore. It looks like temple but actually it's a museum. It has so many wooden sculptures featuring many ethic, truth, social norms, and philosophy about the human life. You have to follow the guided tour first which will take around 45 min. Pam was our guide and she is very funny, energetic and knowledgeable. It is interesting to hear about the story of the owners (it's private property), the history and the meaning of different sculptures. You know, the story she told us is not all, I believe there are tons of different stories looking at the giant structure filled with different sculptures and they are still under construction. The museum is on the beach and definitely worth the visit. Though it is located a bit out of town, there are taxi there and you can also use Grab or Bolt.

This is an amazing place that deserves 5 stars. My rating reflects the surrounding “attractions” that spoil it. The elephant and horse riding should be stopped immediately. Website and leaflet claim it to be “ethical” but the elephants are being chained by their legs and guided using metal poking sticks. The tourists ride it around in the heat of the sun. It stands in in big conflict with the message of peace and sustainability being commemorated in the museum. Other downside are the tours. There is so much to be told about this amazing place, yet the guides have trouble reaching their guests as they have to compete with other guides and the workers on site. I would have loved an audio guide to which you can listen in peace and on your own, sadly there is no such option. Also no smaller private tours are being offered. The complex message of the creator of this place is not coming across and reaching its audience in conditions like that, despite the great guides doing their best. As an English speaking person there is also no possibility to access the museum before 9:10 am, which is when the first English tour is starting, even with the site opening at 8 am. It is weird, as after the seemingly mandatory tour you can walk around on your own as much as you like. I would have loved the possibility to see the place at 8 a.m. when it’s still not crowded and then would have joined a tour later in the day.

I love this place so much that i would like to come back again. This place still under construction in each room and it will be better more in the next time. I like to walk around this museum both outside and inside. I prefer to wait until late afternoon that there is no tourist and worker. The sun light come through the window, it is very calm and fantastic. I accept that the ticket price a bit expensive, but for person who love the art, it's worth.

Outstandingly beautiful. Words can not do the atmosphere of this place justice. Very charged with a feel good factor. Strange but true it has a way of making you reflect on your own self beliefs. And how you conduct yourself in this world. Just an awesome place to reflect. The fact its made of hand carved wood only. And the amount of time it's taken to do is testament to the work ethic of the thai people who do it.

One of the beautiful attractions in the city is the Sanctuary of Truth 🤩 This is a temple or rather a private investment of the Thai millionaire built in 1981. A beautiful building made of teak wood without the use of nails. It is a structure that pays tribute to the ancient view of Earth, ancient knowledge, and philosophy of the East. You can find here beautifully intricately carved elements showing how we should live our lives and what is important. That everyone has a different goal in life and we need to strive for this and that we should be good people in our lives because we automatically attract good people to each other 🤩

And amazingly large structure. It is truly a unique and one-of-a-kind place that you can easily spend 2 hours at. Especially if you appreciate the craftsmanship involved in its construction. the staff are friendly and very helpful and are happy to accommodate taking photos of you. The temple is in a constant state of construction, with upwards of 40 Craftsmen chiseling away at the walls and pillars. Hard hats in the work area are provided. The temple grounds has restaurants and attractions for children, elephant rides, a petting zoo, and more. A nice place to visit in the early morning or afternoon, but be sure to dress appropriately.

🇬🇧 Eng: A temple of incredible beauty, which united all the religions of the East under its roof🙏🏻 It is a symbol of the unity of religions in countries such as China, Cambodia, India, Thailand. The figures on the spiers of the roof of the Temple of Truth symbolize the core of peace, kindness and life, endless philosophy and peace on the planet ... The entire temple is divided into four halls: * Thai * Indian * Chinese * Cambodian This grandiose structure Temple, on the shores of the Gulf of Thailand, began to be erected in 1981 at the suggestion of a local businessman Lek Viriyaphan. More than a dozen years have passed since then, and the building is still not finished. The main feature of the Temple of Truth in Pattaya is that it is erected without nails. True, this is a very controversial statement. In fact, there are nails, but they are only half driven in. Thais claim that when the temple is completely ready, they will remove all the nails. Тайцы утверждают, что, когда храм будет готов полностью, они уберут все гвозди🤪 ✅ Easy to get to / Легко добираться ✅ Access by car / Подъезд на автомобиле ✅ Suitable for children / Подходит для детей ✅ Purposeful visit / Целенаправленное посещение

Although I really enjoyed my experiences of this beautiful place, it was ruined by the fact that 2 horses, kept in a sand paddock right next to the main entrance, are clearly starving. They are skin and bone and eating dried brown leaves from the ground. I sincerely hope that management take note and respond appropriately here. If I am satisfied that these horses are being properly cared for then I will change my review to 5 stars.

This place was amazing! It's huge! In order to see the museum. You need to buy tickets to a tour guide. My time was at 9 am, I came at 830 am. At first there wasn't a lot of people but as time went on. Tour busses came. Once the tour starts. They will take you to a section where people are working making wooden sculptures. As the tour continues, you will head inside. It is amazing! You are so tiny compared to the museum. You can easily spend more than an hour looking at the art. There is art everywhere here.

Some people say it is temple but Guide told that it is not temple , it's a place that shows morality and depicts story of how right moral help to get happiness. How family is important and how our good deeds helps us to grow and be happy. The building construction started at year 1981, presently few parts are still under construction and it might take another 50 yrs to complete. The ticket cost is 500 baht per person . You can also see their dance shows at particular time . they don't allow short dresses please follow their dress code .

One of the stunning and spectacular temples. Fully wood carved by artisans. The amount of work done is incredible and the key quotes and messages inside the temple are quite motivating and philosophical. Also feeding the goats, deer, rabbits and sheep was really soothing. Come during the evening time, you get beautiful sunset to take photo shoots. Please do note you have to pay 500 Baht for tickets to visit the temple. But worth it !

Wonderful site. The location is fantastic. If you like an elephant ride, you can get one for 400B about USD 11 per person. The ticket comes with a tour guide. I stay around afterward to get photos and take a closer look. Amazing work and spectacular vistas. Well worth a visit. Probably millions of hours of craftsmanship were involved in constructing this temple.

I think the price is worth the scenery. You may choose to buy the ticket by online (might be cheaper) or at the entrance ticketing (500 baht adult, 250 kid). You may need around 2hr here at least to enjoy the view. They also provide group guide tour with specific language. As I remember available in English, Korean, Chinese, Russian, etc. (May need find the time schedule).

As the name suggests, the museum is all about wood sculptures, carved during the discovery of the seventh truths of life such as First Truth - Who are we? Where are we from? Second Truth - How do we live our lives? Third Truth - The End of Life, Fourth Truth - Samples of Civilization, Fifth Truth - What is a life goal? Sixth Truth - Society is like a two-sided coin, Seventh Truth - The beginning of society. It's open from 8 AM to 6 PM. The entry fee is 500 Baht for adults. You can book tickets offline at the counter as well you can buy the tickets online by visiting their official website or via Klook. Parking space is available. There are multiple guide tours scheduled throughout the day in multiple languages such as English, Chinese, Russian, Korean. You need to compulsorily wear a helmet throughout your visit. It takes about two to three hours to take a complete tour of the museum. Apart from muesem there are other attractions such as Elephant riding, mini zoo, rowing boat, etc. A beautiful sculpture which cannot be missed at any cost. Highly recommended.

Before entering the museum you will get to know about your language guide time slot. A cafe is present at the view point and also inside the museum premises. Other activities are: 1. Horse feeding 2. Ducks hens and peacocks can be seen🦚 4. Goat feeding 5. Babies of Deer are also there , you can interact with them. A kind of mini zoo is created, entry is free and you have to pay the feeding charges if you wish to interact with any animal.

The Sanctuary of Truth, situated in Pattaya, Thailand, is a unique and awe-inspiring cultural and religious structure. This intricately carved wooden temple is an ongoing construction that aims to embody traditional Thai craftsmanship and philosophy. Built entirely from wood, the Sanctuary of Truth showcases detailed carvings and sculptures depicting themes from Hindu and Buddhist traditions, as well as Thai folklore. I visited this place years ago and returned with my partner on a bustling Tuesday morning. Despite its growing popularity, the limited space made it feel crowded. Opting for a free guided tour, we gained deeper insights into the teachings conveyed through intricate wood carvings. Beyond the impressive craftsmanship, the site offers a profound exploration of Thai culture and Asian wisdom, touching on topics like our origins and life's purpose. The temple's unique construction, without the use of any nails, adds to its charm. It's still worth a visit, just be prepared for potential crowds! 😅

(Translated by Google) It is a unique place that is 30 minutes drive from the center of Pattaya city. If you purchase tickets for 50 tickets at the ticket office, you will be filled with statues of historical, historical, and cultural figures from the front yard. The sculptures are described very realistically, which also makes them feel artistic. If you take off your shoes and go inside, you can see Buddhist statues of Buddhist sutra, blue dragon, On the second floor, there was a good feeling of appreciation because there was a sister of the Taoism of the Taoism that I knew well. There are historical figures such as Chinese Emperors, Qin Shi Huang, and Wei in the outer courtyard, and there are sculptures of various martial arts from the Shaolin Temple. On the third floor, there are paintings of Thai ancient figures. Overall, it's worth watching once (Original) 유.

My guide was excellent, in fact excellent almost is not good enough word to describe it. I cannot remember his name, but he was from Azerbaijan. His English was superb, along with his attitude and knowledge of the site. Thank you so much for the knowledge that you shared with us, sir. You made my trip to Pattaya wonderful and helped to capture a few images of me to share with my family. Yes, this site had ongoing construction. The continued work adds to the experience, as you get to see magical art being made right in front of you. It was very fascinating to watch the craftsmen (and women) work on the carvings right there in front of you. You can always see the intricate details in the finished carvings later, but here you also can see the process come to life right before your eyes. It may be difficult to get around if you are mobility impaired, but there are ramps to get around inside.

Absolutely the most iconic structure in Pattaya. I thought it was a temple, but actually not really a temple, you can say it's a museum. It was constructed entirely out of wood and it's still unfinished. When I arrived there I was shocked by the amazing building with so many fantastic sculptures, when I walked inside, I was more surprised and I was fascinated by those works of art.

If you visit here, you do not have to go any other place of Pattaya. For mature people who can appreciate the architecture and the knowledge within and for people who have lost their way in life and need direction...this is a must visit; You will certainly find peace here, even you don’t have to enter inside. The surrounding is very peaceful. Have elephant ride if you like those gentle giants and like some adventure. Have nice lake, live traditional folk music with food corner. Try coconut as drink, it will soothe you and replenish your bodies need for water and electrolyte.

Cool place. A little chaotic with the onslaught of tourists, but worth seeing. Getting there takes time in tight traffic. The guide was knowledgeable. Everyone had to wear helmets due to construction. They stressed that it is a museum and not a temple. The craftsmanship is amazing. I'd suggest going very early in the day to avoid the massive crowds.

A very beautiful museum and well worth a visit. The museum is made purely with wood. The carvings are intricate and real skillfulness to build it. Although it's called the sanctuary of truth, but I am not sure about the elephant rides on the premises. I have been reassured the elephants are well cared for. There are guided tours in different languages at specific times.

Would say that this is the wonderful and amazing gem of the world. This is one of the great private collection among of 3 treasures owned by Ancient City Company. 500 baht fee admission. The Sanctuary of Truth is the largest wooden castle in Thailand. The castle was built using ancient construction techniques. That's the method of bolting, doweling, hammering with a wooden wedge without relying on a single nail. This method is a preserved construction style. The idea of architecture is linked to the religious philosophy of impermanence or transience and its four ornate wings were built to symbolize religions in Thailand, Cambodia, China, and India. Restaurant and large parking lot are available for tourists.

This place is a sanctuary for the soul, providing a sense of tranquility and wonder. A must-visit for anyone seeking a unique and spiritual experience. I was captivated from the moment I stepped in, and I can’t recommend it enough. A gem that truly deserves all 5 stars.

Nice tourist attraction in Pattaya. Entrance fee include a short traditional dance - which is best to avoid as it is low quality and crowded. Best option is to go directly to visit the temple. To go back, it is difficult to get a taxi or a Grab within the compound because it is all managed by the locals - best option is to walk out of the compound and there will be plenty of taxis there.

500 thb for the entrance. That’s the grand palace price. But the grand palace is an iconic part of Thai culture. This temple was built in 1981, probably for tourists. Even the viewpoint is 50thb, just to see part of the temple from 300meters away. I think only Thailand makes you pay for a viewpoint.

Probably the best temple you can visit in Pattaya. Although they say it's not a temple but I doubt it. Heavily inspired by the Hindu mythology and the tale of Ramayan. All wooden structure that's still under construction for more than 30 years. The sculptures and the whole structures are very detailed and amazing to look at. You have to go there and see for yourself to believe how they actually built such a huge structure. Entry fee is 500 baht which includes the tour guide who'll explain in detail everything that you see and after the tour you are free to explore or just relax. It's very peaceful. But do check on Klook if there's a discount.

This place is totally worth the 500b ticket price just to help preserve the craftsmanship being practiced here (I love all the women workers learning the trades!), as well as simply enjoying the peace and tranquility of the place, and the mission of the founder to be a true "sanctuary of TRUTH". This is not a Thai Buddhist temple. This is an amalgam of Khmer, Ayutthaya, HIndu, Buddhist, and Confucian philosophies, art, and architecture. The tour guides are all very knowledgeable. I loved the Filipina woman with her marketing degree who was kind, efficient, gave tips on photo ops for the Insta-generation, and had tons of information for those who actually wanted to know more. The woods used include, teak, rosewood, and more. Be sure to view the smaller model near the entrance where they actually use clay to mold possible sculptures for approval from the project manager and then construction begins on the other side where you can see everything from planing the boards to carving taking place. Construction is continually happening inside which is why all visitors must wear safety hats. Decorum is also a must and if you're exposing your bare shoulders, knees, or belly you will be required to "rent" a sarong (you'll get your deposit back so long as you return it). The only negative was the unethical treatment of elephants, as they had "add-on tours" to ride the elephants and more.

Incredible hand carved wooden elements bless every square inch of this temple, crafted by extremely talented artisans. You could spend hours looking around this place and still not have enough time to see and appreciate every fine detail. Be sure to walk over to the beach nearby for some incredible photos of the temple, I didn’t see anyone else doing so, despite it being so stunningly beautiful. The only downside is the crowds of people, it’s hard to take photos (especially inside or of the staircases) without getting other tourists in your picture. You also have to wear a hard hat inside for safety reasons, because it’s technically still under construction. Just be sure to spend your time thoroughly exploring this place from every angle, you might be surprised what you find.

Very unexpected. The woodwork is amazing, with some interesting themes and pictures to illustrate the message from the artist. The idea is very inspiring and impressed at the architect behind this piece. Guide was very resourceful and friendly, had some good sense of humour, Khun Pornwipa. Has some Thai desserts and ice cream for sale next to the museum, with some Thai instrumental music. Offers other touristy activities, the only downside would probably be the activities involving animals like elephants and horse which does not seem animal friendly.

Also they have multiple languages of guides in this place, not sure about other language but for Thai guide, she's pretty amazing. There's two (2) similar places listed on Google Map - Santuary of Truth and Santuary of Truth Museum. Santuary of Truth shows the information and photos of the entrance as well as the ticket office. You can actually walk here from the main road Pattaya-Naklua via Naklua Soi 12. Distance is approximately 1.1km from main road to here (see photos). Just follow the directional signs along Naklua Soi 12. Likewise on the way walking back to the main road, hop on to any Songtaew (local monkey taxi) for only 10 baht per pax per trip to Terminal 21, Central Pattaya, or alight at any places along Pattaya-Naklua Road - Pattaya Beach Road - Pattaya 2nd Road. Of course, for convenience, there's a taxi stand besides the Ticketing Office.

It's quite a walk down to the temple from the ticketing area. However if you've booked transport with the tickets your transport can drop you down right at the temple. It started raining just before walking down, but didn't let that spoil the experience. The temple itself is amazing work. Impressive in its size and carvings and the fact it is all held together just by wood. Construction is still continuing and you can see craftspeople working on the outside as well as watch carving in the workshop close by the temple. Highly recommended.

Amazing carved wood structure 20 stories tall. Construction began in 1980s and continues until present. Very interesting to watch carving and construction work as well as the beautiful interior and exterior of building. Unfortunately they offer elephant rides and the elephants are kept chained to ground when they are not working. Very sad. I bought the ATV package for 800 baht (included 500 baht admission) and it was very fun, albeit short and kinda scetchy vehicles. That also came with a free 30 min for massage which we were unable to use because of time constraints. Overall highly recommend this place besides the animal treatment issues.

(Translated by Google) When you come to Phattaya (Phattaya), perhaps many people will do it for its festivities. But I came for "He": [ปราสาทสัจธรรม-พัทยา The Sanctuary of Truth]. The owner of the Sanctuary of Truth is a local businessman. It was built in 1981, and it has been more than 30 years now! After the businessman passes away, his son will continue this dream, and he will build it until he is satisfied. Therefore, even now, it is still an ongoing project. The main body of the whole building is made of 170 giant woods as the backbone, made of mahogany and teak, and constructed using traditional craftsmanship without half nails. The Sanctuary of Truth is about 10 kilometers away from the city. Due to traffic conditions, the journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Except for the base of the building itself, 100% of the other structures are made by hand-carved wood. The 105-meter-high building occupies 2,115 square meters, and it is a cross-shaped area overlapping with east, south, west and north. The roof crown is the symbol of Prang. The statues of the four goddesses are standing in the hall in front of the entrance to the four-sided area, with a large number of windows for ventilation and light. [Oriental Hall] (Thanksgiving): It conveys a sculpture of a sheep floating in the shape of its parents. The creator bestows mercy on life. Taking care of children and daughters, the love of parents is great and pure. The love of parents is greater than the sky and the ocean, and the relationship between human nature is the miracle of the soul. Human beings are very different from other creatures on this earth. Therefore, people need to honestly give back to your parents' life through love, respect, gratitude and honesty. [West Hall] (Elements): The origin of the world composed of giant Buddhas or elements depicts the beginning of everything in the universe. "Sky (universe)" refers to the elements of wind and fire, and "earth" refers to the elements of water and earth, which are the roots of all things. [North Hall] (Social and Spiritual): Adhering to the Taoist Confucian beliefs, although they have different origins, also represent the noble virtues of Bodhisattva in the teachings of Mahayana Buddhism. The Buddhist Mahayana philosophy of Buddhism believes that Buddhism is like a big cart, guiding people through the four-image cycle of birth, old age, sickness and death. It can be released from the evil by doing good deeds with a good heart. 【South Hall】(Stars): A relief depicting the sun, moon, and stars of the gods, around the sky. The constellations have an impact on the environment and lifestyle, leading all things, the evolution and behavior of the world, and the difference between animals and humans. Human nature has a conscience. They can develop their own race and know how to distinguish good from evil. Still benefit from the big world. [Central Throne] (Truth): The core of Buddhist teachings is a symbol of the universe or Nirvana. The center of Nirvana is the truth from the beginning to the end of all things.

I recommend. It's really worth seeing. A combination of three religions in the form of a relief carved in wood. Everything you find there comes from Thai, Hindu, Chinese, Buddhist and Khmer traditions. A private project now sponsored by the family of Thailand's first car importer, and previously by himself. Still under construction. In fact, it is constantly renovated and improved. All because of the wooden technology used. Admission fee is 500 baht for adults and 250 baht for children.

This place is pretty spectacular and must see for a spiritual journey! The detail in all the crafts is truly magical! One thing I didn't enjoy was the unnecessary elephant riding option...right outside the sanctuary are elephants ready for tourists to ride, I found that bizarre for such a place. But overall everything else was good.

  • 5/5 Piyathida P. 3 years ago on Google
It is an amazing place even though it is 500 THB for the entrance fee. But I think it is worth to visit. All the place made from wood. There is a tour guide explained the concept and showed you around then you can enjoy your time to chill and take photos.

It's a brilliant place, with an incredible amount of attention to detail, and its location on the seashore, just adds to the grandeur of this place. You're also able to see it from ocean-side, as you can buy yourself a speedboat ride around it for 300 baht. Photos doesn't really do It justice, you really have to go there yourself to really experience it first hand. (Or search on YouTube "supergenki" to see the video I did) Entrance fee to the main building including guided tour in English is 500 baht. Don't miss out on this place.

Here you will find some of the unique artefacts including terracotta figures of Buddha followers, arhats and other terracotta figurines of horses, sepulchres, chariots and soldiers. It's a good recommendation to have one guide you through this magnificent structure to fully understand the purpose of the building and its various wings that draw upon Buddhist, Hindu, Brahmin, and Chinese teachings to teach the ultimate truth. It's a good place to reflect upon life as a whole and our place in the world, juxtaposed by our place in family and society. Same person who built this built the Erawan Museum and the Ancient City.

It's quite expensive via Thai standards to visit but a small discount can be had if you buy a ticket online from one of the main reselling websites. It is a beautifully crafted wooden palace. It is not historical monument as the construction started in 1981. However it shows the old methods of wood building and the size of it is truly magnificent. It's also by the sea so you get that sea breeze there. You will also be given a protection helmet as there are continuous works taking place but it's not disruptive. Negatives are higher price (500TBH) and they offer rides on an elephant. Don't ride on elephants.

The Sanctuary of Truth, wasn't sure what to expect here. But actually the building itself is magnificent, some of the detail and stories behind the carving. are an inspiration. Although I've had to knock a star off as when I arrived they could not take the card, phone pay and initially walked away thinking that I couldn't get in. Then after leaving the gate I thought about booking online which I did. Also none of the food or drinks counters took cards, or any electronic payment. But apart from that it's worth the visit just to see the building and the carvings taking place.

Is a great place to visit I had my doubts before going there thinking that will be a tourist trap, but worth the visit. Is huge and looks great from far and from close. The guided visit is about 1hr and I enjoyed it. After that time you are free to go around as long as you want. They said this will be a wonder of the world but will be? Only time will tell. Come with time, so you can sit and have a coconut outside. Don't grab the taxi inse the park is more than 3 times the price if you do it on the street Don't buy the mask they do not ask for it.

It's a majestic piece of art and architecture. I was so fascinated with what I saw or with everything my eyes could behold. The entrance fee was 500 Baht for 1 person ( it's infact little less but we allowed our driver to keep his share without questioning) Their work is still going in therefore helmets are mandatory. They provide helmets before entering the Temple. You are required to wear something respectful as in no shorts, no dresses above knee length, no tank tops etc...if you are not aware of it you'll be asked to buy from the local store at the entrance..so carry something to drape around. You'll see many craftsmen working or carving images on wood because this temple is entirely made of wood. It's simply incredible to be here and admire the beauty and hard work that's gone into craving every tiny bit of the temple. You'll be amazed to learn about the history and story behind images of Gods and Goddesses and you'll be provided with a guide who will explain everything in detail.

I think this is the biggest and most beautiful temple in the city. it actually functions as a tourist attraction, but we can say that it is both a touristic place and a temple, as it is the biggest point of interest for tourists. It is expected to be completed approximately in 2050. It is a very large wooden structure. fascinating. Do not leave the city before coming here. because you rarely see such a structure in the world. There are lots of food and beverage services inside. don't worry about it. You can do elephant and horse safari separately. Since it is by the sea, the view is also wonderful.. You should definitely come and visit here..

Mesmerizing temple! It’s interesting that the tour started with safety briefing and move down to the workshop area. Make sure to ask for the different timing for guided tour. They have tour guides in Chinese, English and Russian. I’ve met a co-Filipino working as a tour guide and offered to take photo of us in the most well photographed part of the museum. Fantastic visit, indeed!

Seriously the best and the most beautiful temple I’ve ever seen my whole life! 😍 The fact it’s all hand-carved and no nails are used to erect the temple is just simply mind-blowing. The inside is amazing too, the wood carvings in the posts also has stories behind, in fact all the carvings in the temple, every minuscule one are one of the truths the sanctuary is all about. There’s also a cafe inside the vicinity, and a lagoon where you can rent a boat to paddle. Maybe one thing i’m skeptical about is the elephant riding activity they offer, I hope they can refrain from doing this in the future, and maybe just change it to feeding the elephants or picture-taking from afar….I pity the animals.🙁

Breathtaking architecture with impressive art and lovely display of Thai culture and Buddhism. Our tour guide there, Pang, was amazing too, very informative and give a thorough and thought-provoking tour. Didn’t expect that there are more to do than just the museum, elephant rides, horse riding, speed boat and even foot massages. Make sure to reserve some time here to try everything.

I did the tour in English and our tour guide was the lovely miss Pamela. She guided us with all her passion through this extraordinary wooden construction and explained everything about it very well. She was interactively communicating with the visitors and gave it a somewhat personal touch.

Sanctuary of Truth is a wooden giant structure filled with best scripture work all around and conveys the ways of living for human being. It does contains some stories of the Indian epic Ramayan, also earthly god representations and the tour guide helps us to understand the 6 truths of life. Not only that they will help us identify the owner of the museum intention of the structures why they are such way and it’s an incredible experience, must visit and if you love sculptures and love to explore epics, you would love to spend more time to understand them. They also show how this huge structure built without even using nails.. yes it’s amazing right .. visit to know more…

A highlight to my Thailand travel! Sanctuary of Truth presents you with carvings of mural that depicts truth about our society. For each area, a truth is spoken. There are total of 7 truths (as of the time of writing). I was mesmerized by the interiors of the museum. The exterior carvings are also great and detailed. The area is quite spacious and windy. Other activities such as horse riding, massage, and boat are also available. Some tips for those who are planning to visit: 1. Bring sunblock. Though quite windy, it's still hot outside. 2. Arrive early. There are guided tours you can follow. 3. Make the most out of the tour. The tour guides to the museum are very friendly and approachable. 4. Bring clothes with sleeves. 5. Allocate at least half of day to explore the grounds.

A must go destination if you are in Pattaya, Excellent wood art work with a beautiful sea view and you can also enjoy Elephant rides and also roaring boat. This is definitely one of the most beautiful temple that I have ever visited. The amount of details that they use to craft all of the engravings and design is really perfect and it also housed one of Buddha's relic at the center of the temple. This is one of the must visit temple when you visit Pattaya. You will not regret coming here.
