Sealife
Bangkok
was
a
pretty
significant
bait
and
switch
in
my
opinion.
Ironic,
given
that
it's
an
aquarium
after
all.
Throughout
the
line,
they
offer
a
QR
link
to
pay
for
"Single
Tickets",
as
well
as
their
upgraded
options.
All
we
needed
was
the
Single
Ticket
option,
since
we
only
had
a
few
hours
before
we
had
to
head
to
the
airport.
Because
the
venue
is
in
the
basement,
there
is
not
great
data
service
to
do
the
self
checkout
on
your
phone,
but
the
line
was
so
long
we
didn't
want
to
lose
our
place.
The
venue
offers
their
own
wifi but
it
doesn't
work.
As
a
result,
we
waited
through
the
line
for
about
40
mins,
only
to
find
out
they
don't
sell
single
tickets
to
their
aquarium
at
the
ticket desk.
They
only
sell
an
upgraded
combo
ticket
to
their
aquarium
and
another
attraction.
I
told
the woman
at
the
front
of
the
line
that
we
only
needed
a
single
ticket,
and
that
we
had
no
interest
or
time
to
buy
an additional ticket
to
Madame
Tussauds.
She
said
she
didn't
care,
and
that
she
could
not
sell
a ticket
for
only
the
aquarium at
the
aquarium.
I
felt
like
the
venue
was
trying
to
take
advantage
of
customers
with
kids
who had
waited
in
line.
They
told
me
that
I
could
pay
the
upgraded
ticket
price
or
get
out
of
line.
I
politely
refused
either
of
those
options,
and
made
them
wait
patiently
for
me
to
check
out
online
which
took
about
20
mins
using
data.
The
aquarium
itself
was
ehhh,
but
to
be
fair
I
wasn't expecting
it
to
be
great
given
that
it's
in
the
basement
of
a
mall.
It
was
about
average
in
terms
of
quality.
Many
empty
tanks,
and
they
have
something
to
sell
you
around
every
corner
to
"enhance
your
visit",.
I
wasn't keen
to
do
this
after
the
initial
experience
at
the
beginning.
They
have
about
4-5
add-ons
that
we
witnessed
other
folks
doing
and
I
wouldn't recommend.
The
VR
experience
add-on
looked fun, but
then
we
saw
two
children
getting
motion sick
from
the
headsets.
The
glass-bottom
boat
looked
not
to
great,
and
they
have
a
fish
feeding
add-on
that
was
just
as
entertaining
to
watch
as
it
was
to
feed.
I
think
you
can
also
pay
to
dive
in
one
of
the
tanks,
but
i
am
not
sure.
I
knew
it
would
be
smaller,
but
we
were
all
a
little
surprised
when
we
saw
the
gift
shop
so
soon.
We've
been
to
bigger
aquariums,
so
maybe
we
are
ruined
a
bit
from
those
larger
more
organized
experiences.
