The
Pala-U
waterfall
is
about
a
90
minute
drive
from
Hua
Hin.
Like
many
Thai
national
parks,
there
is
an
entrance
fee.
300
baht
for
foreigners.
100
baht
for
Thais
and
40
baht
for
your
car.
Once
you
park,
there
first
level
of
the
waterfall
is
a
very
easy
walk
from
the
car
on
well
maintained
trails.
The
waterfall
has
7
levels
but
beyond
the
second
one,
the
trail
becomes
much
more
difficult
and
involves
climbing
over
a
lot
of
rocks.
At
some
places,
ropes
are
provided
to
help
get
over
the
rocks.
One
of
the
features
of
this
park
is
the
butterflies.
They
are
everywhere.
The
water
is
full
of
fish
as
well.
Do
bring
your
own
water
and
make
use
of
the
restroom
as
you
enter
the
park
because
there
are
no
facilities
once
you
are
inside.
As
you
drive
to
the
waterfalls,
you
will
notice
a
section
of
the
road
that
has
some
barriers
you
must
drive
around.
These
are
to
slow
drivers
down
at
an
elephant
crossing.
If
you
look
along
the
side
of
the
road
leading
to
the
park,
you
will
notice
many
examples
of
elephant
droppings
and
you
can
see
gaps
in
the
forest
on
the
side
of
the
road
where
the
elephants
have
made
a
path.
