Wonderful experience. My 10 year old son has had catching a "big one" for a long time so we decided to go this summer. He did catch the big one at 130lbs and has claimed it to be the best day of his life. Thanks to the staff at Jurassic Fishing Park who helped him pull in the big one. My older son had fun too even though he's not a fisherman. The boys were thrilled with the games room and gym. They liked the pool and the food was great too. The boys are keen to go back again.

Heard about this place, wasn't planning to fish it, but decided to do a 3 day experience, testing each of the ponds available. From the onset of arriving, it's first class service and warmth. Thanks to all the staff, I cannot praise the front of house, and gillies high enough. They go out of their way to accommodate. Food is brilliant and covers all nationality types and its cooked to perfection. Onto the fishing! There is plenty of hype about this resort, all I can say is it lives up to its reputation. 30 odd fish landed over 3 days. Whilst not the giants of the lake, I saw plenty others catching some legendary fish. Was more than happy with five solid 10kg barra, a hookup to 110kg cod and some nice 60lb catfish and carp. Gillies really look after the client and know their stuff, cannot doubt their dedication to the job. Place is chilled, relaxed, friendly and the service in meeting a guest 's request met with a smile at all times. Had the best time I've had in 10 years! Coming back within 12 months. Can't praise then entire site team enough. Your hard work and dedication was surely appreciated. Thanks again!

Just managed to visit again; returning after a 3 year break due to the pandemic. The place has been improved significantly since I was here, better food, better service, a much nicer bar and amazing fishing. Highly recommended both for fishermen and for a beautiful place to stay. Particular thanks to Oliver for looking after me so well, and helping me to have my best ever day's fishing.

Don’t know what else to say apart from Excellent, all the staff were so accommodating, from the ghillies and bar staff, to Tom, Oliver, Jake and resort manager Pierre. The fishing is next level, had some great fish all in superb condition!! Bait vouchers give you more than enough bait each day. The accommodation and gardens that surround it are all excellent to. Food and drink also, and the lake side service is spot on! A solid 10/10, 5 stars. I’ll be returning again (hopefully soon!!)

Brilliant place for fishing caught my pb Siamese Carp around 135lb and it has a gorgeous view of the lake and the mountains and some delicious food with great rooms to spend the night. Highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing day of fishing at the Jurassic Fishing lake, the staff were really friendly, helpful and knowledgable, Tom and the guys really took care of us. All the rods, tackle and bait were supplied in good quality. The swim was very well equipped with a little cabin and cold drinks, they even include a great pub lunch delivered to the swim! All in all it was one of the best days fishing I've ever had. See the photos of the four monsters we landed in one day! 2 Siamese Carp, a Red Tailed Catfish and Tambaqui.

Had a great time fishing at Jurassic and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Plenty of big powerful fish and not too hard to catch just keep feeding. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the bar and restaurant is a great place to relax in the evening and the food was excellent. The tackle shop is well stocked with plenty decent gear and optional extra baits, rigs etc. The pegs are kitted out with wifi, fans, soft drinks ,power supply and you can have food and drinks delivered to your peg whilst fishing. It's a well run fishery and everything has been thought out. Tom and Oliver were particularly helpful and knowledgeable regards technical advice and having pictures taken. One thing that stood out was how happy all the members of staff were, they obviously enjoy working there and are well looked after by the owners. I'll be returning again for sure!

This was one amazing fishing park apart from the beautiful resort they run there they also have this huge lake attached to the resort we tested our skills at catching these monstrous fish and were successful with the help of the great fishing experts Tom and Oliver who are two of the manages at the resort they were very helpful and knowledgeable in assisting us along. All the bait and equipment is on site you don't need to bring anything and they have a nice restaurant with many types of food from Western to Asian a nice resort to relax for a weekend chill out while enjoying some game fishing. I was so excited to have caught my first big monstrous fish.

This was one outstanding resort from the moment you walk in you can see the beautiful villas surrounded by a pool in the center and well manicured gardens, I knew from that, these people had pride in there resort. Heading to the reception we were met by a friendly staff who had us booked into our room in matter of time. We then took a stroll around the lake where we were going to be doing some fishing the next morning, the set up was just a perfect environment for fishing just like the reviews had describe it. The next day we caught some monstrous fish. The bar and restaurant great service with many varieties of foods the rooms very neat and tidy and the tranquility and peacefulness of the resort will have me coming back again. Thank you to all the staff members for making this a memorable fishing experience and a comfortable stay.

We visited here for the second time and it was absolutely fantastic! The whole venue has changed slightly and for the better. I can see vast improvements currently happening which will make huge differences. One being more family accommodating! My children are 5 & 6 now and they absolutely loved the fishing experience, hospitality and food. The wife and I also loved the experience even more so! All in all it was great fishing, hosts and hostesses, service, catering and comfort. Wonderful and would recommend to any family wanting to enjoy an exotic fishing trip away in a tropical country!

The resort was a hidden gem. Minutes from the center of Cha-Am with amazing scenery. We were amazed at how welcoming the resort and all the staff were. The bar was transported from England with all the ciders and ales. Their English breakfast was one of the highlights of the trip. They have a game room that both children and adults will enjoy. The museum was also a nice touch of authenticity. The facilities were great and we are already looking to return in January. I highly recommend and promised that you will not be disappointed.

After waiting such a very long time to get to Jurassic Mountain, it definitely exceeded my expectations. Once through the gates, picture this scene, an oasis with beautiful trees, manicured gardens,pool, waterfall, beautiful villas. Once the fishing had started, the lake produced really lovely fish, PB was beaten. Tom and Oliver were very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our taxi driver looked after us well, likewise Ton in the Anglers Rest who seemed to be "jack of all trades" always had a smile, was helpful. In fact we were really pleased that we would be going back there after a week away. The gillies were always on hand, popping into the water when the fish came in. The girls from Anglers Rest were a credit to Jurassic, happy girls. They worked hard, dropped off food and drink to the swims on their scooters. The whole set up certainly gave the guests the best experience. A very well run fishing venue, hopefully we will be back one day. Thank you all for making our trip truly memorable.

I just had another great day fishing at Jurassic specimen lake catching a 120 pound Carp amongst others Jurassic is a very well run place, Tom, Ollie and George do a great job backed by a team of experienced ghillies. After fishing there is the Anglers rest for great food and a few beers served by the lovely staff in there.

We have just got back from Jurassic Fishing Park and was a great experience. The service from start to finish was first class and the food great. My Wife came and really enjoyed her stay even though she was not fishing and the Thai food excellent. The fish are in excellent condition with helpful guide to help capture and take pictures. We will be back sometime next year for more all the best to the team Shaun & Pim.

Thoroughly enjoyed my holiday at Jurassic. I would highly recommend (and have) to anyone and especially to those wanting to take a non fishing partner. The staff cannot do enough for us and the facilities and service is excellent. If you are unsure about fishing for these special fish the guides and ghillies are always and hand to help you land that fish of a lifetime. I'll definitely be back to capture those fish that got away!!

Jo our UK contact made it a very easy and stress free booking experience Thank Jo x This place was totally mind blowing, Mark the owner has put together a first class team, from house keeping to the gillies nothing was to much bother. This place has it all! we spent 7 nights with 6 of the days fishing this impeccably well kept lake in the most amazing grounds/Gardens. The staff had an understanding of our needs from morning till Night. Tom, Olive and George all have exceptional knowledge of the venue giving expert advice on rigs presentation and most important getting you on the fish with nothing being to much effort. Mark the owner took time out to talk with us on our last night introducing us to his wife and generally asking how we got on, he showed his appreciation and got the beers in and had a great crack with us Top man Mark. Food and services along with a well sorted bar, fitness center, games room and beautiful pool area make this a place for all the family no reason to leave them at home. 100% family orientated, The lads around the lake Tom, Oliver, George, Yod, Fawng, not sure of the spellings sorry chaps! are spot on they have all the time in the world to make sure you are in the best position to catch the fish of a life time. first class everything here and I mean first class 10/10. The fishes welfare was never overlooked, the lads have the best collective knowledge in Thailand in my opinion. Don't ponder on it get it Booked, this is the place nothing else comes close, some in my group have fished other popular venues in Thailand and put Jurassic in the number 1 spot hands down, the most Beautiful surroundings with the best team make this an absolute must for anyone that wants a change to Carping in the UK/Europe. I first visited Jurassic Mountain just before it officially opened in 2012 and have been fortunate to visit several times since. September 1st 2023 was our first visit back since November 2019. Wow!!! The transformation to the resort over this time is nothing short of amazing. Tom, Oliver and the entire team are the most wonderful hosts, fishing guides and cooks of the best Thai and European food! The accommodation and amenities really are first class, we particularly loved the WhatsApp ordering facility and the fishing........Words defy the world class fishing to be had in the brilliantly maintained lake which is set in the most stunning scenery. I highly recommend that you plan a visit - but be prepared to catch more and bigger target species than you have before and be prepared to regret that you did not plan a long enough trip. It was an honor and a privilege to catch the largest Siamese Carp in the lake @180lbs and a magnificent Tambaqui specimen @40lbs. We''ll be back soon - but will stay longer next time!! 1.5days is just not enough

Cannot recommend highly enough! Communication was spot on when booking. Resort is incredible, room was spotless and furnished to a very high standard. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were super friendly. The lakes are the stuff of dreams as well!

Our 1st time and it was definitely a pleasant surprise. seamless checkin, clean rooms, well stocked bar and delicious food. however the best was the fishing experience, GIANTS, and so chilled just to wait for the big bite. Gillies (fishing guides) were immediately at your side to safely handle the fish, safe release kudos to the whole operations!!!

Can I first say that I have never fished or been particularly interested. That's my husband's hobby, but I was up for a holiday in Thailand and I am so, so glad we came to Jurassic. The resort is stunning and spotlessly clean (even the toilet on swim 7) and the staff have gone above and beyond to make sure we've been looked after. There's plenty of choice when it comes to food and drink; everything we've tried has been delicious - it even gets delivered to the swim. Oh and I had a go at fishing and have caught some amazing fish and Oliver and Tom are on hand to answer any questions. Best holiday ever, we definitely recommend Jurassic and we hope to be back.

We enjoyed two days and nights relaxing in this immaculate resort. Located in a beautiful setting with well maintained and manicured gardens, pool and lake. There is a full bar and restaurant to enjoy when not fishing but service can also be brought to you in any resort location by a simple Line message. Our room was very comfortable and tastefully furnished. My two days of fishing was arm aching stuff in the heat of Cha-am. My personal target was a +100lb Carp which I was lucky enough to land on day one. The rest of the fishing was a bonus and kept me busy. There is a full range of baits and well serviced tackle available. Hospitality and fishing knowledge from the staff is always on hand to make sure the experience is positive. If you are from the U.K. and old enough to have enjoyed the work of John Wilson then you will enjoy his memorial museum on site.

I'm finally getting around to write a review for Jurassic Mountain. I've been with them for second time now in October and I can't be more happy or satisfied! I have never been to a place with a more guestfriendly and forthcoming team on any of my travels! The bungalows are absolutely gorgeous, the whole site is stunningly beautiful and impeccably maintained by the team! Their chefs are really good, the food is outstanding and delicious. We had some bad luck with the weather, it's been raining a lot and the river flooded into the lake, making it impossible for us to fish for 3 days. But the guys showed us alternative fishing spots and credited the fishing part of the payment for these forced non-fishing days for the next visit. Tom even brought us to another lake about 90 km away on his free day, so that we could finally do some fishing again, which I super appeciate! I was staying there during my birthday and the team totally suprised me with a lovely cake after dinner. I will definitely be back and can only suggest you come to Jurassic if you're planning a fishing trip to Thailand, it's very much worth the money you pay! I have been to other fishing resorts in Thailand as well, but Jurassic is easily the best overall experience that you can wish for!

I really enjoyed the view and relaxing vibe here. Good air, big pond and even mountain all together! There are a lot of giant fish in the water and you can even try to fish them!! There is a hotel and restaurant with many cuisines on the menu (Western, Thai and Indian). A great place for vacay!

Great visit (I had a160lb Carp and my brother a 130lb), but it felt mainly a Carp water. Over the 2 days, only 4 non carp were caught out of approx 35 fish. There's very limited chance to catch Arapaima due to the fact you have made a channel at one end of the lake for them to cruise in...for onlookers (like hotel guests). The service was brilliant and if you just want Carp...go for it

If you are a fishing enthusiast then Jurassic Mountain Resort & Fishing Park is for you apart from the great resort accommodation and restaurant with great foods to anyone's taste and preference the fishing lake is astonishing surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens and mountains you can fish all day long pulling out 100lb to 150lb fish like Catfish, Alligator Gar, Carp and many more species and if you don't have much fishing experience then, the helpful staff, Tom and Oliver both have a great knowledge of fishing, they will make sure you catch your fish of the day and go home with a winning trophy feeling proud of yourself. Really a fun place to visit with a funny friendly staff to make your day or two or three comfortable and a winner :)

I am not an expert in sports fishing but definitely feel the thrill and excitement of it inside. I was on a holiday with my wife n kid for 10 days and thought to try out Jurassic Fishing Park. Spent 2 days of fishing at the lake and had the experience of a life time. They have very beautiful landscape with all the amenities to make anyone comfortable even for a relaxing trip. The restaurant and the food was excellent with top notch service at the venue as well as the fishing spots. As far as fishing was concerned, i got a very well briefing from Mr. Tom which got me to start the day. He spent a considerable amount of time to get me acquainted with lake. Mr. George also helped me out with techniques of line slack and quickly identified how tricky the 2 bites of Alligator Gar were {could not hook any}. He also suggested not to underestimate boilies. The following day i felt more confident and was following their instructions and spot selection by Gillies assigned to the swim. Luckily it all came together and managed to land a beautiful 180 pound carp. I was really scared seeing it for the first time. Got down with her in the water and then i could appreciate her real beauty. Again i got lucky with my wife kid praying constantly for the Arapaima. At the very last minutes i hooked her. Tom gave superb instruction to net the beauty. It was indeed a technical thing that comes from years of experience. Before coming to the lake i informed Tom that i have packed Cigar to celebrate if i can catch 100 lb plus Carp n Arapaima. We celebrated with the cigar as promised. Honestly still i cannot believe the moment happened. Amazing pictures taken by Oliver. I can stare at those for hours and recollect every minute of the day. Thanks Jurassic Team for making my angling dreams come true. Will be back soon with minimum 5 days of excitement planned along 3/4 of my fellow mates.

This is a one-of-a-kind place that you find Right in ChaAm. This is a lake that is specially made for ordinary people to catch the largest game fish that they've ever caught in their entire life. It is well stocked with enormous fish. The only catch is you must release. The fish in this lake have been imported from warm Waters all over the world. You're welcome to get in the water like I did, and take a picture of your 25 lb paco. The place is more than just a wonderful place to be able to fish, you can stay here, you can dine here. It's got everything that you need and a wonderful view. I fished and shared a spot with another person and it cost roughly 5200 baht. Fishing was all day, and unfortunately for me, it rained a lot. It was still a great time.

Had a weeks fishing at Jurassic from 19th May and I can honestly say I will never forget it, The whole experience start to finish was unreal, cannot find a thing to fault about it! And am already looking forward to returning again next year. Thank you to Tom and Ollie and all the staff at Jurassic who made it such a memorable trip! See you all soon

We were fortunate to spend a full day fishing at Jurassic Mountain Resort and the experience exceeded all expectations. The staff are exceptional and they make sure that you have an incredible day. The property is professionally run, very well maintained, and the surrounding area is beautiful. Of course the fishing itself is the star of the show and gives you a chance to catch the biggest fish of your life. I can’t recommend this place enough, we are already planning our return trip.

world class fishing experience. enjoyed every minute of it. my kids spent the day playing in the pool while i got to relax and enjoy the amazing fishing. the staff are super helpful and always willing to go out of their way to accommodate your needs. everyone there is incredibly friendly and the views are beautiful.

Very easy to write this. Quite simply the best fishing trip we have ever experienced. This was a lake exclusive for 5 of us to celebrate a big birthday. Staff were amazing, gillies were fantastic, fishing was beyond our dreams. We caught 142 fish over 6 days fishing for a total weight of 2.7 tonnes. Even if we had blanked the review would have been the same as the whole experience is just fantastic. Book with confidence and if you can organise, lake exclusive is a game changer. Big thanks to Oliver, Tom and Mark for running such a great resort. Huge thanks to Piak for all the help with logistics too. Hope to be back once I've recovered. Could take a while 😀

What can I say, it was my wife and my 1st trip , wanted to fish it before coming to Thailand about 5 years ago. It was more than we expected, a great balance of fishing for my self and comfort for my wife. Tom Broomhead and his staff are nothing less than 100% accommodating and go above all expectations. My gullies Bang was super in assisting me with rod set up and great fun Like I said 1st trip, certainly not the last Cheers Tom

What can I say, the place is absolutely stunning! Each room is equipped with a comfortable bed, air conditioning, sofa, TV, etc and have a veranda that overlooks either the garden or pool area. The cleaners and gardeners do an amazing job keeping the whole place spotless. If you are there for the fishing you won't be disappointed, a large number of bigger fish of several different species. The gillies are all very knowledgeable on fish care and make sure they are handled correctly and returned safely.

A absolutely stunning resort very comfortable spacious room with all fully equipped with all the modern facilities a lovey veranda overlooking the nicely manicured gardens and the stunning lake a awesome rock pool. The fishing part was not disappointed with a large number of fish of several different species was a fun challenge reeling these big monstrous fish in and the staff were very helpful in every situation also loved there Anglers Restaurant food the great English breakfast was the highlight. I will be certainly returning again for some more fun and relaxation by the sunset lake.

Had a very nice English breakfast at fish and chips. The setting is exceptional with a beautiful Mountain Peak view. I am personally not a fisherman but I could see in the lake very large fish the whole setting is quite beautiful. I did not visit the rooms but the park area is also very nicely done
