Female owned and operated. About 5 minute walk to beach. As close as you will get for that in a Hua Hin hostel. The whole building is brand new construction with everything feeling new and clean. Building is secure and there is a full laundry option just off from the front lobby. You can prepare your own meals in the kitchen on the top floor. About as good a hostel experience as you can get. The photos are accurate. The woman who runs the front desk most of the time has lived abroad in several different countries; fluent English and some cultural sensitivity. The kid who works the front desk isn't as good in English but you get things sorted. You're about 15-20 minute walk to a few larger market style food options in that part of Hua Hin as well. You won't be sorry you stayed here.

The hostel is great, it is clean the people are friendly. The staff is amazing. James the gentleman at the front counter is the best. He even helped us clean our rental bikes after an off road adventure left more mud than bike. I highly recommend the place.

Overall the hostel is nice - comfortable beds, a full kitchen on top floor, drying racks for laundry (there’s coin machines on the ground floor). It’s opposite a great massage place and right after the two minute walk to the beach there’s a tasty restaurant with day beds and good service. The downside of the hostel would be the staff member Jaime. Mainly sitting behind the front desk from 8am to 7pm watching YouTube videos, he seems to resent the few minutes he is required to do anything which makes it an uncomfortable experience. When I asked him to open the door as I thought I had locked myself out he opened it , entered the bedroom area, came towards where I was sitting on the bed, and turned on my private bedroom light and then said I had beautiful skin and eyes. I said “thank you” firmly and he left. We didn’t interact again for the rest of the trip and I don’t think he’s done any other part - the bin hasn’t been changed , day 3 I killed a cockroach beside my bed. It’s an empty hostel.

We visited the hostel end of august. It was the skiw season. The hostel is clean and new. The beds were confortable. The Ac worked well. The washroom are small and the kitchen is on the third floor and it doesn't have an Ac neither does the reception area. The location was good. The beach is close by so is the mall and the night market is a 15 min walking distance. The guy at the reception was very nice to us and very helpful.

Super friendly staff! There is a kitchen you can use and the place is very clean! I highly recommend renting a motorbike next door for 200 baht and drive to the Phraya Nakhon Cave. It takes about 1,5 hours to get there, 3 hours in total hiking and 1,5 hours back. Entrance fee is 200 baht. Also if you're there at a specific time you will see the light shine directly on the temple = 10/10 I personally don't recommend the monkey temple. It's dirty and doesn't look well taken care of = 3/10 The night market is cozy = 7/10

Hostel is super nice, 20 mins walking from the train station, 2 mins walking from the beach. Beds are super comfy, the place looks new. There is a kitchen upstairs, and washing machines downstairs. I had a problem with a rental scooter and the owner kindly helped me to sort it out. Cannot reccomend the place enough. :)

The most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a hostel. Owner is lovely and really helpful. There is a really good kitchen/communal space on the top floor as well.

The hostel is perfectly situated in the city of Hua Hin, close to the beach, to the different markets/mall and main public transports. Facilities are kept very clean, the bed was very comfortable (with good privacy curtains) and a balcony was also present in the room. A small kitchenette is available on the top floor which is a big plus, with free drinking water. Last but not least, the whole staff is very friendly and special thanks to James and the owner Jiap, who both made my month long stay at Litera Hostel a wonderful experience. I highly recommended this nice little hostel to anyone looking for the best value for money.
