Today,
I
went
shopping,
and
unfortunately,
it
didn't
start
off
well.
My
intention
was
to
find
a
hallway
bench
seat
with
a
shoe
rack
at
Index
Living
Mall,
where
we
have
purchased
many
items
in
the
past.
After
browsing
through
the
store,
we
came
across
one
that
suited
our
needs
at
Living
Mall.
Additionally,
we
planned
to
purchase
a
couple
of
cooking
pots
and
a
few
other
things.
While
we
were
examining
the
cooking
pots,
a
glass
cup
behind
us
unexpectedly
fell
from
a
small
table
and
shattered
into
numerous
pieces.
It's
important
to
note
that
we
didn't
touch
the
cup;
it
simply
fell
on
its
own.
Being
considerate,
I
immediately
called
over
a
store
worker
to
inform
them
about
the
incident.
To
my
surprise,
the
worker
promptly
insisted
that
we
were
responsible
for
the
broken
cup
and
demanded
payment.
My
partner
overheard
the
conversation
and
skeptically
asked,
"Are
they
seriously
expecting
us
to
pay
for
that?"
I
reluctantly
replied,
"Yes,
it
seems
so."
Keep
in
mind
that
we
had
already
gathered
items
worth
over
4,000
baht
in
our
shopping
cart.
Despite
this,
the
store
employees
were
adamant
about
us
paying
98
baht
for
the
cup.
Frustrated
by
their
stance,
my
partner
firmly
stated,
"If
you're
going
to
make
us
buy
this
cup,
then
we
won't
be
purchasing
anything
in
this
shop."
As
a
result,
we
ended
up
speaking
to
the
manager.
To
our
astonishment,
the
manager
responded
with
a
nonchalant
"fine"
and
insisted
that
we
pay
for
the
cup.
Feeling
taken
aback
by
the
lack
of
understanding,
we
proceeded
to
the
register,
paid
the
98
baht
for
the
cup.
Do
you
know
the
proceeded
to
bag
up
the
broken
glass
and
give
it
to
us.
We
left
the
store,
feeling
disappointed
with
the
overall
experience.

just
lost
