I highly recommend checking out Duotone Kiteboarding Club - Kiteschool for lessons! The instructor, Bang, was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly patient and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything in detail and making sure that I felt comfortable and confident before learning kite control in the water. He showed me all the safety steps and how to handle and set up the kite on the beach. Once in the water, Bang was patient and able to show me how to keep the kite in certain positions and how to maneuver the kite back and forth safely. I learned so much from the two hour lesson. The owner of the shop was also very friendly and welcoming. It's clear that all staff have a passion for kite surfing and want to share that with others. I had an incredible experience at Duotone Kiteboarding Club - Kiteschool Thailand and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to learn or improve their kite surfing skills.

Three and a half years ago the owner Joe motivated me to take lessions for kite surfing. What shout I say … After four weeks time I left this beautiful place fully equipped with amazing duotone equipment. Since then I ordert also a kitesurfboard and a kitefoilboard and many many kites. Now I will come back in November and will stay the whole season until April 2023. I’m really looking forward to it. Thank you so much Joe.

With several kiteboarding schools on the beach, it's hard to know which to go with. I can tell you that going with Joe and his team at Duotone Kiteboarding Club will not be a mistake. We are experienced kiters and just rented gear. The process was quick and there was a good selection of seat and waist harnesses, boards, and new model kites. Also, the school is a little further downwind of the 3 other schools, giving yourself more room to play on the water. I highly recommend.

Huge thanks to Joe (German speaking) and the team, especially to Ohm, he is a great kite instructor. I started from zero and had great fun throughout the three day course! Best place in Hua Hin! The kite school is an easy going place to hang out afterwards! Would go there any time again!

My girlfriend and I didn't need classes, but still we went almost every day to the shop of the North kite boarding Club. It is just a nice ambience. Inside they have a small restaurant called hang time, run by FLo. Absolutely very lovely staff and the best food created with care and eye for detail. The owners of the kite school and shop, Joe and Lila are very welcoming and warm people. They also have now a few rooms above the kite shop. Very neat and basically all you need. We had the luck of an overbooking so Joe solved this by arranging another great place and we even could stay in his house which was a real treat. I think their spot for lessons is the most relaxed part of the Hua Hin beach. For sure it is the most spatious and almost exclusive for their school. In short highly recommended. And for all who read this, if you are in Hua Hin for kite boarding and looking for a warm welcome, just information or kite lessons (or in need of a good breakfast/lunch), don't hesitate and pay them a visit.

I ve been there two years in a row. Very friendly and good stuff, talking many languages. They just charge what they teach - if there is for example no wind - yes, its an outdoor sport and thats possible even in hua hin - and they have to break a session, there is a reduced or no charge for this day. I really enjoyed the lessons. A lot of fun for a beginner with 39 years.

I am quite a beginner kite surfer and frankly I didn’t know what to expect. I booked 6 days with equipment hire, instructor and accommodation at the kitesurf centre. The whole trip simply turned out fantastic. The accommodation was very comfortable and convenient. All the instructors where very helpful and first class teachers and the conditions for beginner kite surfers where ideal. I definitely plan on returning for a longer period.

Thanks Joe and a special thanks to TK for your patience and great way of teaching! I spent a week in hua hin and learned from the best, with only 4 sessions I learned how to handle the kite. The waves made it difficult to stand on the board but I'm superhappy still! If your thinking of learning, this is the place for you!

I highly recommend this place. Nice equipment, good prices, great tips. Beside kitesurfing, Joe is also very helpful and can share his knowledge of Hua Hin with you. They also rent some rooms near the beach, which I think is a good plan for whoever come to Hua Hin for kitesurfing!

Excellent school with good equipment and great instructors! I was choached by Beng, an local instructor, that talked fluent english and that had great teaching skills. I was there abit off-season, but the school was very flexible and adapted the training for the conditions. They give you hreat value for money! Would recommend spending an aditional 1000 baht on their imported sun protection, you will need it under the scorching sun.

I had the best time at Duotone Kiteboarding Club in Hua Hin! Joe and his colleagues have been great teachers, and Joe even got a video of my first water start with his drone! I’ll never forget that moment, but also great being able to share it with my friends! I’ll come back for jump tricks :)

We went kitesurfing in Hua Hin for 8 days in March and rented from Duotone Kiteboarding Club. Thanks to Joe for the uncomplicated and courteous service and the great drone shots. Great material quality, large selection of equipment, nice team and a beautiful kite spot. We were on the water for 3-4 hours every day. Highly recommended!
