From the moment we stepped into Ken's Restaurant, we were greeted with the warmth and hospitality synonymous with Thai culture. The highlight of our dinner undoubtedly the culinary magic we experienced. The dishes served were nothing short of spectacular, easily the best Thai fare we've tasted in Hua Hin. What truly set this experience apart was the graciousness of the chef, who personally welcomed us, showcasing the passion and pride he takes in his craft. For anyone seeking an authentic Thai experience with flavors that dance on the palate, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

The chef is very friendly and enthusiastic, he recommended the day's specials which were awesome and tasty. We ordered the sea bass fillet with Ken's special sauce and the mixed seafood casserole and lapped up everything. The service is really awesome here, we were greeted with hot towel, which was completely unexpected. Quite surprised to find it pretty empty here despite the awesome food. Don't really tend to leave reviews but I think the food and place is definitely worth a try, so decided to drop a review :) The price range is really decent for the good food and service!

First visit to Ken's Kitchen today for lunch. WOW, what an amazing food experience, Ken's Kitchen might be small but the food is BIG on taste and flavour. Ken himself is an amazing host and loves to chat and interact with his guests. He's the perfect host. This was my first visit, it WILL NOT be my last. Thank you Ken 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I met the chef Khun Ken personally and listened to his recommendation and had a seafood casserol with rice. The flavor of this meal was abundant and rich. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ken is a lovely guy, a very welcoming host and the location is fabulous, on the ground floor of the family house, this is a family business and Ken is a fully qualified chef that had a restaurant in NZ. So he understands the western taste. The Mango chicken curry is an amazing curry. I have never seen a mango chicken curry in Thailand, so I had to try it. Wow. This is an amazing curry. We also had king prawns in tamarind sauce, the prawns where so big, fresh and juicy. The tamarind sauce has just the right amount of spice. The curry puffs are the best I have ever eaten. The pastry light and fluffy, the curry filling is delicious. The chicken sate is delicious, they are so much better than the local style of chicken sate, more like the type I would eat in a 5 star hotel. Overall, the price is cheap, the service excellent, the ambiance lovely and the food is some of the best food I have ever eaten. Always happy to support a family business, especially when the food is such high quality.

I was really impressed with his original Thai foods. Especially, “som tam tod” used fried papayas is highly recommended. The owner and his staff are nice and thoughtful. Furthermore, It’s reasonable! It's worth coming to Hua Hin just for this restaurant. PIC: SOMTAM, MANGO CURRY

What a fun experience in Ken's kitchen! It feels so authentic, like going to Ken's house to have a meal in his home. Food was delicious! The Lab Tao is so delicious! Love all the dishes we ordered

Something magical happens when people put their heart and soul into what they do. That’s our experience with Ken’s kitchen. It’s a small restaurant run by Ken and one other team member. Exceptional food, warm welcome, great service. You can tell all Ken wants is for you to enjoy his food. They charge very friendly prices and give you a fine dining experience. We had two starters, two mains, rice and two rounds of drinks for 2 of us. The bill was 1050 bhat.

Finally made it here and was not disappointed. Luckily fitted us in, ahead of a busy evening of reservations. Fishcakes, Curry puffs, Seafood Tom Yum and Chicken Mango Curry. Absolutely delicious! We will be back. Thanks Ken and crew!

Probably the best service I have had in Thailand, which is saying something as many places are excellent. Here they really care for you, they are so welcoming and friendly. The decor and music are also lovely, a little gem.

A stunning lunch prepared by Chef Ken. Incredible Thai fusion flavours, special mention for the mango curry. Located in a small soi, however this place is well worthy of a visit. Very hospitable and welcoming. Thanks again 😊

ใครอยากทานเผ็ด บอกเชฟเคนให้เพิ่มเผ็ดได้เลย Great food, good price. If you can handle a little spicy, you don’t want to miss the fish Chu Chee curry. Green curry was also good, the spiciness will kick in as the aftertaste. The chocolate lava cake comes with coconut ice cream instead of vanilla ice cream like most restaurants, but it turned out to be a phenomenal combination. Highly recommended. For the presentation, I think Chef Ken over-decorated the dish that most garnish are more distractions than good supplementary. I wish he would leave out the orchids and especially please lose the ‘Mee Krob’ from garnish if it’s not fresh, because it will be too rubbery to eat and ruin the experience of the dish. I paid 1,190 Baht for 5 dishes. I guarantee that it’s really hard to find this good quality food and this good value anywhere else in Hua Hin. I will definitely go back to eat again, not only because of good food and chef Ken’s friendliness, but also because of the cat who came to greet us as we were seated.

We had lunch at Ken’s kitchen and it was wonderful! Greeted by Ken, who gave us his own recommendations, i was treated to an explosion of flavors all combined in their seafood casserole. Absolutely delicious! Will have to come back for more…. 🙏

Ken's kitchen is truly a hidden gem, and a place we would highly recommend every traveler coming to Hua Hin. We visited this place twice in two days, something we usually don't do while travelling (repeating the same place) but both times we were treated to such awesomeness. The presentation of food is top notch, as good (or probably better) than what we got at The Hilton. And the taste is beyond words, it's a sensory experience :) Starting from the aroma, then the visual presentation and then the taste. Simply WoW! The Thai Rd curry and Mango curry are two stellar dishes, and if you like it fiery hot go for Stir Fried Prawns with chilli and garlic. And Ken, he is a fantastic host. Ever welcoming and smiling and shared some great anecdotes from his time in New Zealand. He cooks with great passion, and it reflects so well in his food. The space is a smallish 10 cover place, so please call before going. We went with our two small kids, who Ken prepared out of menu non spicy options. He is a gem of a person and we wish we stayed longer in Hua Hin to enjoy more of his culinary genius. We would definitely revisit Hua Hin again, only to just dine in here.

Ken was so kind and such a good chef. The food was delicious and seafood was very fresh. Ken was a top chef in New zealand but I am so glad he opened a restaurant in Hua Hin as the food was so good and beautifully presented. He even helped us spray mosquito repellent which was so nice of him and walked us out to the main road when we asked for directions. Thank you so much and will be back if I visit Huahin again.

Do NOT sleep on Ken’s Kitchen. It’s a little bit out of the way from the main drag but it will NOT disappoint. Ken is an award winning chef who worked in New Zealand prior to establishing his Kitchen in Hua Hin. Authentic Thai cuisine with incredible attention to detail. Amazing. Ken is a most wonderful host as well. He was so kind and generous and told us his story. Loved our experience at Ken’s Kitchen and you will too. Get the curry puffs and anything on the menu. Beautiful food presentation. Make sure to book in advance. You won’t regret it. THANK YOU, Ken!!!

In my humble opinion, Ken’s Kitchen would have to rate as one of THE best restaurants in Hua Hin. What a fabulous experience. From a genuinely warm welcome, to absolutely delicious meals, to a wonderful chat with Ken about his passion for food (and the thought and creativity that goes into each dish), we came away from this experience being so thankful that we were recommended here. Sharing chicken curry puffs, sea bass fillets with special sauce and a mixed seafood casserole, we were both impressed with the taste, the quality and the attention to detail - the meals were a work of art in both presentation and flavour. The menu is designed to maintain quality; focusing on fresh, seasonal produce, the service is excellent, and the price is very reasonable. Tucked down a small Soi off Chom Sin Road (about a 10 minute walk from the night market), there’s no view, but the cozy, relaxed, personalised vibe makes you feel like you’re being welcomed into a family home. It’s special, and it’s definitely a must visit restaurant when in Hua Hin. Already planning a return!

This is a gourmet Thai seafood restaurant. An appetizer of Som Tum Tod (papaya fritters with dipping sauce) really floored me — never likedsom tum but when deep fried tempura style with wild flowers sprinkled on it, folks, it is something out if this world. Two out of the three house specials, jumble river shrimps and sea bass filet, were also ordered.

We come by this cute restaurant in a Saturday afternoon. The vibe is nice and everything we had are marvelous! Highly recommend the mango curry, the taste of mango and curry are well blended together! The tom yam soup is delicious, you can choose to go with or without coconut milk. We ordered a without coconut milk version and it is so far one of the best tom yum soup I had so far! The brownie with the homemake coconut ice-cream gives the perfect ending of the meal, the icecream is not too sweet and goes well with the brownie. Overall, if you are visiting Hua Hin, definitely go h check this little gem inside the city. Will definitely revisit this restaurant next time I come to Hua Hin!

I ordered shrimp pad Thai and it's simply one of the best I ever had so far. Tom yum noodle and spring rolls are also nice. Khun Ken the chef and his staff are very friendly and kind. Will definitely come back every time I'm visiting Hua Hin!

Our neighbor spoke highly of Ken’s kitchen so we decided to contact Chef Ken to cater our dinner party. Chef Ken surpassed all expectations, rescuing my last-minute catering dilemma for my father's reunion party. He helped to recommend the dishes and worked with me to accommodate our needs. His culinary expertise shone through in the deliciously crafted dishes, each one adorned with a touch of love. He did all this even with a full house that evening at his restaurant. The entire party of 15 was treated to a memorable culinary experience, thanks to Chef Ken's dedication and talent. My favorite dish is the fish cakes, the herbs are to die for. Highly recommend for any special occasion and dining at the restaurant.

😠 Nice view, food way overpriced and taste 3/10. The rice with "lots of crab"(cold) for 300+฿ was average khaopad poo from the nightmarket😥. Vegetables served with rice were dirty, see the pictures.
