Fantastic tranquil place, a little Balinese-style gem in a suburban leafy part of Hua Hin, 7 minutes bike or car ride to the beach. Spacious villa type rooms (4 in total) and a wonderful home-like feel. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, beautiful terrace and garden. Very friendly too.

Great hospitality by pet-friendly Belgium owner and her right hand Khun Tae. Beautiful quiet location with clean rooms and very nice pool. Breakfast quality as variety was top-notch. Beach nearby (6min by car). We couldn't ask for more and will be back soon.

Villa Baan Malinee is a hidden gem in Hua Hin, a few minutes drive from Khao Takieb Beach. Marleen, your host, is so welcoming and you really feel that you're at home as soon as you walk through the gates. And the breakfasts are outstanding! All freshly made, so much choice and delicious - it was a perfect way to start the day. Dogs are welcomed just as much as humans. A perfect getaway!

I spent 8 nights at Villa Baan Malinee and thoroughly enjoyed my time here, being looked after by Marleen who is the most amazing hostess. You get the most delicious and varied breakfast and really nothing is too much trouble. I rented a scooter off Marleen and bombed around, visiting beaches, shopping centres, having a ball. Can highly recommend Villa Baan Malinee.

β€œVilla Baan Malinee is an absolute gem of a find. The place itself is stunning, fantastic beds, great English tv & movie channels. Breakfast is beautiful. Malinee let's each set of guests choose which time they want to have breakfast so that it is fresh out for you. You can also choose the time if you want to eat privately or with others. The pool is beautiful and aircon, shower etc are excellent. The restaurant next door is easily the best food I've ever eaten and the beach, five minutes away, is wonderful. The main road just two minutes from the villa. I absolutely cannot recommend Villa Baan Malinee enough. We completely changed all of our plans to stay another five days here.”

It could have been a nice experience if it were not overwhelmed by an excessive cost cutting atmosphere reigning this B&B. It positions itself as a "5 star bed and breakfast", but charges you 100 baht for a tooth brush. The water pressure in the shower is capricious at best, and the pool is dirty. And God forbid you asking to have your clothes washed. They probably save on the washing powder too. Ours got out smelly as if not washed at all :(

We really enjoyed staying at this villa, the breakfasts were varied and very tasty. We are very happy that we can live here with pets. The cat and dog were very happy and relaxed. Beautiful interior and garden with a large swimming pool is also very nice.

A wonderful oasis, where we were well looked after. Fabulous stay and would recommend it to anyone. Perfect for those who wants to be in Hua Hin, and don’t feel the need for beachfront location. Thank you.

My wife and I have stayed in Villa Baan Malinee 3 times now; first time as a newlywed with our puppy, second time with my pregnant wife and older puppy, and most recent with our 7 month old baby and much older pup. All 3 times have been amazing! The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly the whole way through. Our most recent stay was the most memorable as Marlene was available throughout the day to accommodate us with our needs. She was able to provide us with a baby crib, baby highchair and provide baby friendly breakfasts (included). They even cooked vegan and vegetarian food for us as my wife is vegan and our baby and I are vegetarian. Upon our request, Marlene also organised a cute massage for my wife and I in the villa. The rooms we’ve stayed in are spacious with very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are big and one of the rooms we stayed in had a bathtub and an outside shower. They clean the room upon request or from our experience, every other day. There is plenty of space to hang and keep your clothes. A mini fridge and minibar are available in the rooms we stayed in. The outside space is blooming with nature and looks stunning. There is a big swimming pool and spa, with some pool toys available for use. There is an outside eating area accessible any time. There is a communal kitchen which is open from the morning until the early evenings where there is a microwave, toaster, oven, kettle, and more! There are heaps of information about attractions and places to eat in the lounge room and Marlene is very knowledgeable about things to do in Hua Hin if you need any further information. I cannot recommend this place enough – do yourself a favour and enjoy this home away from home!
