Second time staying here, and it does a decent job for us as a stopover on the way from Samui to Bangkok. Rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and work okay. Staff are helpful. Parking is a bit small, and this time we had to park at a sister hotel a few hundred meters away (but a shuttle takes you there/back). Very popular with local travelers and the hotel was pretty full when we stayed. Local area appeals to Thai tourists, but less appealing to us -- personally not my scene for longer than a stopover night. One very odd thing for such a hotel: at the buffet breakfast they limit guests to one egg per person -- a first in 50 years of travel (eggs cost about 5THB in Thailand!).

Failed, very bad service. The hotel staff inform me upon arrival that they cannot offer the stay due to the booking that I made on Agoda pricing was not up to their satisfaction. They would like to cancelled when I have arrived at 6pm. How could you do that to a customer??? Not satisfied. Not at all recommended.

Don't judge a book by its cover! On the outside this hotel looks amazing. All the standard hotel services are available. However, the most basic service: working airconditioning in the room where you sleep was not available. It broke in the middle of the night. (watch video) This caused the inside of the room to be as hot as the outside air. Wich was 33°C. In the morning no compensation was given for this. We came to get a good night sleep, we left exhausted. The breakfast was also very minimalistic and subpar.

Just on the beachfront of Cha Am Beach. Friendly personnel Spacious room with Cable TV good Aircon modern room good sound insulation have a small private terrace to chill out in the evening. Small parking only 8 cars have to be first... Overall very good experience

We stayed there last year in 2 bedrooms on the second floor, rooms were nice quite big and suitable for us 2 adults 2 kids with huge balcony. Just one thing that needed to improve was breakfast

Nice-designed & spacious room. However, the amenities should be improved. Only one toilet paper roll and one of each amenities is provided in the family room (for 4 people). Neither wash cloth nor hair towel, only bath towels are placed in the room. Breakfast includes a variety of Thai dishes, but it is quite not worth it. (the way fruit and salad bar are prepared and only egg dish is complimentary per guest. You have to pay for extra eggs!). Overall, the experience gives the feel of "stingness" compared to the price. Hardware is good but not fully provided. Staff is nice and very helpful, but some need more training. Although we can afford but many things seem ridiculous to even ask for in the service sense.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, place is well looked after. Superior rooms could use a wardrobe, though. Breakfast is more Thai than western, but still good. Will come back.

As a reporter for Time Magazine this hotel banlon Sun Hotel didn't advertise they had Works going on at Pleasant and they offer you breakfast but nothing like British or German breakfasts and the only thing I could eat was toast try to get extra bookings from the day manager and she basically fault me off cuz I stated I could get the rooms at a lot cheaper price £3,350 Baht yet the day manager wanted 4,670 baht what was I to do she basically fob me off that's not what I call good management and if she works for me she would be out on her ear as of the cleaning stuff up by Lonesome I thought they were the hardest workers I'd seen in a long time and there was one girl that stood out from the rest she had a smile every time we met she helped in any way she could so I gave her a little extra bonus when I left these sort of things I look for specially in hotels and as of going out at night because we rented a motorbike they did not like me taking the bike out after it had been parked up and hidden right at the back so they had to move everything just to get my bike out which I should have full access to at all times I don't think I will go back to balance on again unless they change their websites get proper training for the management to try and get more bookings and improve their breakfast menu just being honest

Two storey hotel. Room is comfortable and reasonable size. Breakfast was good. Lots of foods to choose from. Downside is parking, and not beachfront as lots of public beach bed are in the ways of the sea view.

There is no swimming pool and the breakfast is asian food not international food

Very nice hotel located on the beach road. Room was very nice and clean. Starting to show signs of wear but more than acceptable. Nice Jaccuzzi bath. But no aroma bubble bath foam. The reviews for breakfast were very good. I would say average for star of the hotel and price. Overall I would recommend.

Very nice hotel! One disappointed point was , no swimming pool

This is a nice resort, but some of the rooms are now past their best. Probably due to Covid, this resort has deteriorated. It would not take much to take a room at a time and repair small faults and restore it to its former glory. The staff are very nice.

Nicely setup hotel right in front of the beach, with a very calm chill vibe. The staff is young and friendly. The breakfast was basic but delicious; coffee needs some improvement. Only thing that I did not like was how clean the room was. An extra effort can be done there; at least to have clean crisp towels.

Really pretty resort and well kept. I wouldn't reckon its new. Staff and hospitality was great all except the reception. You need to be aware though that they very strict with the no of guests and children policy.

Great spacious room. Brand new/modern. Location : opposite the beach. Only breakfast is a bit poor. Not bad but there may be something added.
