A beautiful peaceful park for having a chilling time away from the chaos of the city. Must visit if you want to rest or enjoy a peaceful chilling time.

This would have got 4 stars from me, but loses a star because of the "piped music" broadcast from speakers throughout the park, you can't escape it and it's not necessary or desirable in my view. However, positive aspects of this park are the great fitness facilities. There are free workout stations along a section of the park, plus a dedicated outdoor weights area (20 Baht to use). The left over prison towers from another time create an interesting feature along with the fish ponds. There is also a childrens play area and a hard court available for basketball/football.

Used to be part of a prison complex now, it's an open park where people can jog and exercise. There are old guard towers that represent the historic past of the park.

30 baths outdoor gym, not sure if the price is for foreigners only, but totally worth it. It has all the basics to keep fit while you’re travelling our working away from home. I do recommend wearing a cap due the heat which can be quite exhausting. As far as I’m concerned the gym is open every day. The guy at the entry is very friendly remember to be nice to everyone there. Have a good pump m8!

Locals come here to exercise. It used to be a corrections center ( jail ) , renovated to be a park. There is an outdoor gym for weight lifting, small skateboard area, playground , exercise stations, etc... Haven't spotted any monitor lizards here but the crows population is quite impressive, especially at the water fountain. You can also join the aerobics session or the Chinese dance exercises there. Only service dogs are allowed, no pets.

Amazing park to work out in the centre of Bangkok. Running track and free calisthenics facilities plus a great outdoor gym with everything you need for a weightlifting workout and entry is cheaper than any indoor to gym in Bangkok . The owner is very helpful and will instruct you on how to use the machines if you need it and the regulars are also super friendly. If you are looking to workout in Bangkok this is 100% the place to come I could not recommended more just be ready to sweat like crazy.

Rommaninat Park is a historic site and build on the ground of a former prison. At one side you still see the prison walls and watch towers. There is also one prison building with prison cells to give you an idea how this place used to look like. Now it's a nice park with huge trees exercise areas and places to relax.

Rommaninat Park is a nice place to have a small pause after and before running behind attractions of Bangkok. Rommaninat Park - like bigger parks Lumphini and Benchakitti of course - is a good place, too, to see some bird species which are quite exotic for a western tourist.

There is a public outdoor gym at this park. Walk-in fee is 30 Baht at the time of writing. There is plenty of good basic equipment here such as a squat rack, a few bench press stations, an array of dumbbells, a smith machine, barbells, and a few other specialised machines. Exceptionally good value. Access to this park will improve as the extensions to the MRT line will mean there will be a station within 100m of the park.

Well-maintained smallish park, short walk north of Sam Yot MRT station. Good for a relax, free gym equipment, and jogging loop. Many good small eateries nearby.

Rommaninat Park is a public park that was constructed to be bestowed to H.M. Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother in 1992. Originally, this area contained the Bangkok Remand Prison. The interior has been arranged as a health park that has fitness equipment and a sports ground including a bronze conch shell sculpture that represents the willingness of the Queen and the Corrections Museum.

What a great park for all ages. Great place to exercise, place sports, take some fun photos or just relax and the scenery is beautiful. Interesting but of history too. So clean, neat and tidy.

Beautiful park in a quieter section of Bangkok. Football games happening, folks lounging in the shade or strolling around the grounds and a nice escape from the city. Street vendors near by make it a nice change of pace from Yaowarat, Sukhumvit or Khao San Rd.

This is a nice place to relax, just sit on a bench and chill a little bit while having a look at all these amazing flowers, trees, plants and even some statues. Many different birds living there and most of them, of course, you can not see in europe, except going into a zoo. We even saw a lizzard/dragon(?) lying there relaxing which was just amazing for us to see from this close distance. We enjoyed it a lot, its worth a visit for sure if you want to escape the madness of Bangkok for an hour or two.

A park beside a former correction Center which you can still see locked. Very green and peaceful especially during evenings. You might see many trainers and children practicing or running around. A lovely place to take a stroll or sit.

A quiet oasis amidst the bustling city around! I’d recommend walking through the park or making a picnic stop here because it is certainly a reprieve if you are suffering some Bangkok stimulation overload. There are some fountains in the park as well as manicured lawn areas and benches. There is also a public bathroom that was clean and tidy.

Nice little refuge within Bangkok’s inner city. Visit the park for some more quiet space and tranquility. Easy to reach via metro or foot. No one will bother you and you can exercise if you want.

The best open gym I’ve ever seen! 30 baht entrance, and there is literally everything you can think of. Which I found this place earlier.
